Are There No Editors In Paradeisia?
So much research crammed together does not a satisfactory reading experience make, especially when the scope of the book(s) is this broad. I was fascinated, but lack of editing was so distracting I only finished reading to see if there were any sentient spaceships, since all the other tropes of science fiction were included. Disappointing!

I decided to tackle all three so I could have continuous reading. This book took me on so many twists and turns! When it ended, I still wanted more. It was very graphic. The one part that made me say "ah ha!" Was when Katz was eaten by the dinosaur (name is too big to repeat) and it mentioned the Star of David! This was the proof that would not be obtained without a chance meeting between Kayla and the Chinese Paleontologist! Wow! This was a mind spinning story!
I would recommend this to anyone who loves fiction and has the time to get through all the characters! I enjoyed it.

Certainly a hot mess, but I liked it! There are, at last count, 6 different story-lines that have to come together by the end to make a cohesive tale.
Getting to the end was fun, but the ending is where the suspension of disbelief fails. I would give the first book 4.5 stars, the second 3.5, and the third 2.5. It is the third tale where the story gets muddled.
Overall, worth the read, but the author does have trouble wrapping up a story. I observed the same thing with his re-edited and updated novel, Pluto. It sort of reminds me of many Stephen King tales of the 70s and 80s where the story is great, but upon arrival at the end, the general reaction is, "what?"

The author has interesting ideas, mostly tweaks on standard sci-fi themes, but he desperately needs an editor. When I get pulled out of the world of the story because of repeated misspellings, words that don't belong, and awkwardly phrased sentences, it detracts from my experience as a reader and detracts from the talent of the author. Add in overly lengthy science lectures and endless descriptive passages, and at times, the books become a chore to read. That said, I did read to the end. I hope that the author finds an editor who will help him hone his craft.

Kindle is a MUST!
The complexity, character loaded and heavily researched content makes this a Kindle read of necessity. Though reading over a length of time likely increased the need for character and story re-reads. My enjoyment was certainly increased by easily referencing previous mentions using Kindle options. The read reminded me more of a stage performance or movie as the action jumps through place and time and challenges the reader to keep pace. That said, the characters are empathetic and the descriptions of locale and action provocative.

I have so many mixed feelings about this book. I loved the alluring action and mystery that kept me reading. But then it got depressing and confusing.
With so many critical characters or rather characters I was made to feel attached to, suddenly dying. And dying such horrible deaths.
Exciting, enticing, tear jerker that kept me on the Edgar of my seat. I'm really just mad that so many people died.

To much !!
This author went the long way around the barn trying desperately to find the door sometimes to much detail can destroy a story line .I really had a tough time getting around the mumbo jumbo i understand it's necessary but in my opinion it was overly done to the point of losing me several times reading this book.I couldn't get past it so just skip over it but that really got tiring after a while .I couldn't finish the book because it got really aggravating .

Confused
It was a hard story to follow. Very interesting up till the quantum physics and time relativity stuff. A lot of over the top information and details. I did finish it.

I can't quite remember if it was first person or third but what ever ... it kept me reading! Yes there were somethings that were disjointed in how the story was put together but it wasn't enough to discourage this reader! I had to wait for the Third book so was anxiously awaiting the conclusion. There were several off branch story lines, some had satisfying endings some not so much. However in the big picture it had to be that way. Read carefully and get some satisfaction from an Oragutan in the end! I hope you take the time to read this

Fast read. Held my interest but it is not a high quality work of art. Fast moving story that is sometimes encumbered by tedious explanations of science that reads like sections that were copied and pasted from Wikipedia. I am just glad I read this for free from Amazon and did NOT pay for book.

Too many characters to pull together smoothly, but I enjoyed the story. Ending was a bit weak. What really bothered me was the lack of proof reading. Very jarring. Strong story, ending needed editing and a bit of oomph. Would read this author again.
