The short story titled The Name Collector was inspired by an invitation to dinner with fellow church members – a husband and wife. At the end of the dinner the wife did the oddest thing...asked our family to sign our names to a guest book she kept in her dining room. When I signed it I noticed there were many pages filled with names.
