A Kiss Before Lying 2

Rate this book
Surviving a nearly fatal run-in at their successful grand reopening, Liam and Draya, try to forge ahead in their relationship, taking the next step; introducing Draya to his mother. While Liam is convinced the injuries were a result of an accident, Draya is convinced either Deena or Damien were behind the wheel. After vowing to get to the bottom of their near death experience, Draya pushes it aside temporarily and gives in to her whirlwind romance with Liam.

While things seem to be back to normal and Draya and Liam's mother, Brenda, bond instantly, Draya and Liam are brought back to reality when tragedy strikes. While Draya is left reeling, Liam is busy struggling to keep his past at bay until it rears it’s head in the ugliest way possible. With Liam's secrets mounting and Draya’s past misdeeds exploding in her face, no one is safe in the vendetta weaved around their powerful new union.

In part two of A Kiss Before Lying, when danger and betrayal reaches its all-time high, both Liam and Draya question if what they have is real or just another beautiful lie.

Lawd, have mercy!!

This book was a trip! You talk about drama, wow!! The more I kept reading, things just keep popping up, and I'm like "what the f##, lol!!! Great book, it's been awhile since I've read a book that actually had me surprised, I just didn't see a lot of it coming. Draya was so damn weak, I almost stopped reading but with the love and strength I'd Liam, she finally grew a backbone! Liam was a sexy mess, but he loved her. Now of all the characters, Liam's mom, Brenda, was a mess! Loved Brenda, she did not take no crap from nobody and she was kicking ass and taking names. She knew everybody's business. This was a good book, it really keeps you interested, it's got humor, and Liam and Draya bring the heat, I mean hott! You've got to read this book!! Great job, Ms. Skye!!

Book Two picks up after Liam and Draya have been rundown by an unknown assailant and trying to pick back up their lives. Liam takes Draya to meet his mother Brenda, momma is gangsta. You will see what I mean when you read the book. I cannot say too much or I will give it all away. We learn what is making Liam tick how he does. We also learn who Ms. Deena's babies Daddy are and it is a shocker. The ending to this book did not disappoint, it had more twist and turns than the Mississippi river.

Sensational

Mannnn look lol. She so petty I knew it was gonna be some ish with this last book! This. Ion had it all. It left me floored! I didn't see any of that tomfoolery coming. Talk about straight out of left field. This book needs to come with a disclaimer. Sensational job. Way to keep us on our toes. I loved this series and can't to see what's in store for us next.

Scandalous too

This book was just as scandalous as the first book. Draya and Liam couldn't truly get a moment's peace with every thing that happened to them. My mouth was gaped opened throughout after many truths were revealed. After reading this book, it proved that what's done in the dark will eventually come to light.

Wonderful

I liked how the ending ended. How karma is bitch but didn't know that the bitch was Brenda. Through all that drama I loved how Liam stayed by Draya side and vice versus. Also how Ashton and Draya are back into each others lives. What a happy ending.
