Holy crap, you are actually reading this! I guess the awesome cover didn’t do the trick. In that case, hi! My name is Dominic. You could say I am the star of this novel, save the parts where my best friend, Dante, does his superhero thing. He tries pretty hard to steal my spotlight with his power to heal and go all “Human Torch”.

Oh, and I guess I have to mention Ruhi as well. He’s one of the knights on the cover, and a pretty cool character. You know, besides the fact that he almost killed Dante and me a year ago, has been stealing people’s souls since he was 7, and is otherwise a complete a** hole. Wait, am I allowed to curse on here? Whatever.

In any case, Ruhi started all of this crap. If it weren’t for him, Dante would have never gotten his powers. But ever since that day, I’ve been helping Dante heal people, save lives, do the whole “make the lame see and the blind walk.” Wait, that doesn’t make sense. Anyway, everything was going great until an ancient deity began murdering the people Dante and I have been trying to help. And now, its after us.
