Greyson starts to question everything, including Silver’s advances. When Danger is lurking around every corner, no one is safe. Greyson will have to determine if love is worth the danger and excitement.

Can attraction be fatal, or will attraction be the saving grace Greyson needs? Will Silver’s secrets ruin them or will someone else have the first shot?

Love is blinding, but suspicion is the real killer.

Silver & Black is a gay mystery romance. 18+ for gay sexual content, language, and some violence.

★★★★1/2! Silver & Black, book 1 of 3. Greyson’s life goes from swept off his feet by Brian Silver CEO of a coffee empire to stalked by someone out to hurt him!

“I want to show you what it’s like to have a man make love to you, not just fuck you. ” He stops and smirks. “But there will be plenty of fucking, too.”

Books in Silver & Black series should be read in order:
Book 1: Silver & Black - Silver & Greyson
Book 2: Levi - Levi’s story
Book 3: Titanium - Silver & Greyson

In Silver & Black (book 1) while working as a barista Greyson Black, encounters a handsome stranger. He turns out be the CEO of Silver Coffee, Brian Silver, set on having Greyson.

Sex with Brian is off-the charts and their connection is intense. But Greyson feels conflicted over the coincidence of it all. Besides their affair seems to have set in motion a stalker.

Soon Greyson finds himself questioning everything… and everyone!

Six words to describe Brian Silver: Entitled, secretive, determined, commanding, possessive and manipulative.

Six words to describe Greyson Black: Naïve, easy-going, insecure, trusting, meek and humble.

Silver & Black, told Greyson’s POVs, is the perfect blend of swoon-worthy panty melting heroes, sizzling sex, villains, suspense, mystery, secrets and shockers all the way to the perfect end. Up next is book 2, Levi about their friend followed by book 3, Titanium that I think can be read more as an extended epilogue.

So I saw a review for this one that likened it to the gay version of Fifty Shades of Grey....yeah well, that reviewer....

....it was pretty comical.

So I will leave you with some funny Fifty Shades gifs I found....Enjoy the laughs!

You're welcome people!

Needless to say this was a DNF for me!

So I got maybe 10% into this book before I thought to myself, So...this is Fifty Shades of Grey, gay edition...oh, my god, it's Fifty Shades of Gay.

Needless to say, I spent almost the entire time reading like this:

It says something, I think, when someone's writing can actually vie with E.L. James's as the worst I've ever clapped eyes on.

Greyson Black (totally not making that up) is a barista at a coffee house owned by Brian Silver. Greyson just so happens to be schtooping his manager, Jeff. Jeff, meanwhile, has been schtooping some hot blonde woman on the side and has proposed to her. So the day after Greyson meets Brian, Jeff dumps him for his new fiancee. Poor Greyson's life is now in a tailspin.

Oh, to have this guy's problems...

Anyway, you can pretty much guess where it goes from there. Greyson starts up a relationship with Brian Silver, he acts indignant any time Silver wants to buy him anything because he doesn't wanna be a "kept man", there's a bunch of petty jealousy tossed about because of Jeff and Marcus and some ass hat named Milo. That all culminates in some clusterfuck bullshit at the end that made very little sense, and was trying oh-so hard to be oh-so tragic. The absolute worst part of this entire thing was Greyson. He was, amazingly enough, the intellectual twin of Anastasia Steele. I thought E.L. James had written the epitome, that she was just remarkably adept at crafting a character that somehow functions with a quarter of a brain, and that she'd be relatively safe with her status (at least in my head) of the worst character crafter in the known universe. But Tyler May has managed to rise to the challenge. Greyson is dumb. No point beating around the bush about it, the guy is straight up stupid. Not just ignorant, stupid, as in almost incapable of independent thought. I lost count of how many times he'd "Huh?" and Brian would chuckle and explain something to him. Shortly after meeting Brian, Greyson Googles him and finds some information about charities to which Brian has donated money...

"Another link shows another donation to the Children's Hospital in New York and a larger donation to the research fund for Independent Medical Advances and Research (IMAR). Don't know what that is, but it sounds important."

He has no idea what CFO stands for, and he thinks California is three hours behind New York.

Greyson's internal monologue is just some of the worst writing I've ever read.

"'Yeah, he's right inside. Are you a friend?' 'Something like that.' He's short with his answer. This guy is very mysterious. I'm intrigued!"

That shit with the little exclamations after certain thoughts? Happens fuckin' constantly.

"'The way you asked me to go out tonight, I thought we were going to...' Have sex!"

It's almost like May never learned what context clues are, thus she believes absolutely everything must be spelled out to her readers.

Enough with my commentary. I'll let the writing speak for itself.

"'Funny, I didn't feel anything,' he says straight-faced with a mischievous grin."

"...causing goosebumps to fill my skin."

"The water feels refreshing as it penetrates my sensitive skin."

"I exhale, as a sense of calm invades my world."

"Tenderly he kisses me. It's slow and precise; every move from his mouth perfectly accepted by mine. It was just what the timing called for, and what I needed to feel."

"The bar plays music in between the songs that every gay man wants to sing."

"Our tongues are deliciously swirling over the others..."

"'I think maybe you're a little jealous that you want what I have.'"

"'Fuck you and the high horse you rode here on!'"

"'Marcus did help Brian out during a very rough time in his life, but any of which way, he doesn't need to treat you like this.'"

"The house is set back. The land rolling into pictures landscapes."

"I stare nervously at the deathtrap of my fears."

"The decorations and flowers illuminate in the night. The glow of lights hangs in every direction."

At the beginning of the book, Greyson tells the readers that his manager, Jeff, scouted him out on his college campus for his job at the coffee shop. So the reader was already clued into this fact. Keep that in mind when reading the following.

"'What are you doing here on campus? Are you looking for new employees?' He chuckles. He knows that's how he found me."

"He scrolls seductively over to me..."

"He's so seriously seductive right now, and I'm completely seduced."

"He hits the music on his stereo and the seductive sounds season the mood."

"I'm going to pull my power over him tonight, the power of seduction."

And on that thoroughly seductive note, I'll close this up with an analogy. You know those houses that just can't be rehabbed? The ones that are so far gone, you're actually better off just tearing them down and building something entirely new? That's this book. Red penning it would be a colossal waste of time because it just needs an entire rewrite. How do you take something that was badly written fanfiction to begin with, then rip it off and somehow not make it any better? This was free for me through Kindle Unlimited...I feel deep, deep sympathy for anyone who actually paid for it.

Whilst not an outrageously terrible read (listen) the plot was paper thin and grasping at straws to make itself into a 12 hour audio...

I was expecting 🌈50 SHADES OF GAY🌈
and I got.......... ✨toe sucking✨............
An MC wore a teal shirt with silver suspenders and I JUST CAN'T visualise that as being a panty-drenching combination..............

And the pièce de résistance..................

✨6 FUCKING MINUTES OF AUDIO THAT LITERALLY READ OUT THE MC'S EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT......... ✨
6 FUCKING MINUTES........ (I literally went back to see if I was just overreacting and nope, 6 whole minutes, or 12 because I listened in disbelief twice)

THE WHOLE THING.........

Job title and description, hours, pay benefits, termination clauses, basic info, terms and conditions...... After about 2.5 mins, I was like wtf am I listening to?
Is this book employing me??
I feel like I should have been offered a job after those 6 minutes...

What a train wreck. You know what I mean. Bad business but you can't look away. I finished it just for the pure cheese that it offered me. Oh man, was this cheesy. I know what I was supposed to get out of it but man oh man, that is not what I got. But, because I knew what I was supposed to feel I was able to just keep reading and shaking my head until I was dizzy. Knowing what the characters were supposed to be just brought even more entertainment.

I'll probably read the next one.

Silver & Black by Tyler May So very curious about this one. http://smile.amazon.com/Silver-Black-...

Umm, not curious anymore.
This was... not good. I mean like NOT GOOD!!

I wrote it like that to match the style of the book. Disturbing overuse of all-caps, italics, bold, and double exclamation points. Lots of other not good stuff not worth mentioning.

"His stare is deep and examining. I can see contemplation in his eyes."

So, do not recommend. Or read the sample first to see if you can stand it. Appears many seem to be fine with it.

Me, not so much.

Brian Silver and Greyson Black.....oh what a story this was to read unfold.

Black, a 23 year old, junior in college, working as a barista in a popular coffee shop. After a night out and way too many drinks later courtesy of Mr Silver, Greyson's life begins a transformation of goodness and craziness. Never does he realize that coincidences just don't happen in his world. There is a sexy man behind the sequence of events that happen.

Silver, 31 year old, CEO of Silver Inc. So many secrets this man has under his skin. As his pursuit of Greyson begins, those secrets are reveled one by one. Some good, some amazing and some making you question what Silver is up to.

"You might want to watch the way you talk to me, Mr. Black."

Silver, used to controlling every aspect of his life, personal and business, begins to lose a little control as his feelings for Greyson strengthen and their relationship comes together.

Black, holding back and skeptical of Silver due to the past his has experienced starts to fall for Silver. He fights the feelings but also lets go of them. He is protecting is heart that has been damaged by several men.

 photo PicsArt_1427772415277_zpsk4vtth5a.jpg

Silver works hard to protect Black from the secrets of his past that have chipped away at Black's trust in people.

"I know you think it's too much, but you're worth every penny."

Whether Silver is spoiling Black with gifts or doing everything he can to protect his love and future...the love that has grown between the two was sweet. Watching Silver shed some tough layers and Black learn to trust with his whole heart....perfect story for me.

Overall, a love story with hidden secrets and holy moly hottness between two sexy men!! ***LOVE LOVE***

Now Ms Tyler May.....Book #2....Silver & Black: Titanium.....please say this will be out soon. This girl has to know what more happens!!!

PS....If you love a charismatic and super funny bff of the main character...then you definitely find it in this book. Levi is fabulous with a capital F!!!! His story to come as well!!

This book has so many problems, I'm not sure where to start!
The writing is very choppy and has no real flow, so it's impossible to get into the characters. It is very obviously a take on 50 Shades, which I happen to love, this not so much. Can you really go from tears about a cheating ex and break-up to "I love him" a different him mind you, in one day? I tried to stick this out and see where it was going, but it's not gonna happen. The best thing about this book is the fabulous cover!

phew where to start...
I'll just say honestly: I needed it for a wealthy MC challenge, otherwise I doubt I'd have finished it.

The comparisons to Pretty Woman are so glaringly obvious that they even joke about it throughout the story. There's also a bit of the 50 shades thing going on (sans BDSM) with the millionaire/poor college student scenario.

I couldn't keep from rolling my eyes a bit at some of the banter since I seriously doubt any men - or any humans - would really talk to each other the way they do. And there are some incredibly unrealistic NYC scenes that frustrated me... a few of them are actually rectified in the conclusion so that helped a bit.

The way everything wraps up is a very good story, which is how it gets 3 stars from me. As for the rest? If you're into hot, salacious sex scenes between characters with little or no chemistry, then Silver & Black is the book for you.

I did the audio version... Guy Locke does his best.

How to start this review...I will ignore the "This is like fsog".....You want that go read it...If you want a hot m/m book with some angst...tension and passion then read this.......I'm not used to reading books in first person so sometimes it takes me awhile to get into them...This one took about one chapter before I settled down to a good hot read...Greyson Black is a young man coping with a past he tries to forget...He's a strong guy for someone who's been through what he has....He works in a coffee shop while finishing his degree and he's in a weird relationship (kind of) with his boss Jeff...Now I didn't like Jeff until near the very end(you'll get why)but Grey I loved...he was his own man and definitely was not controlled by Silver....Brian Silver....wow....yummy hot stud...more money than sense but god he was amazing..Yes he wanted to help Grey but he helps everyone he can.....Those eyes.....stunning blue and the one scene that blew me away...OMG Professor Silver.......you will need a fan for that scene believe me.....This has been an amazing book to read...I really could not put it down...I do not read in the afternoon as I have stuff to do but god I could not put it down....The tension goes right through the book and you need to keep reading to see what's gonna happen on the next page....The twist if you can call it that...I didn't see what was coming and that's hard to do for an author...to keep the reader guessing without giving clues......I loved that and it was done great....Levi....oh to leave the best till last...Levi is just adorable......I admit I love alpha men....big butch strong and manly men but I have a soft spot for a guy who is just so Levi...bouncy flirty....self confessed Queen...He is just cuddly adorable and I can't wait for his book...I'm sure his book is going to be amazing...This is the first book I've read from this author and I will definitely be reading her other two books......We all have our likes and dislikes..we all have our favourite authors....I swore I would find me another favourite author this year...I think I just found her x

“I have specific tastes and I don’t date often. It took a while to find you and I want you. All of you.

I want the next time that you experience any type of ecstasy to be from my hands, my body, ME. No one else gets this; no one else gets this desire from you.

I’m a complicated man, Mr. Black, and I’m very selfish. So when you agree to want me. I expect it only to be me.”

This book come with this note from the author....

***No BSDM or anything like FSOG***

I know the author want the readers not to comparing this book with FSOG, but do you know what, my dear author ?
By mentioning it, you had put your book to be directly compared to FSOG and lured readers curiosity to read the book.

So, please...don't feel annoyed or angry when people comparing this book with FSOG.
You can't avoid it...

Cuz how can you said "not to" while rumors said that this book is "Gay version of FSOG" ?

And that part which actually make me curious and chose to read this book on first place and must admit that I do really have huge expectations with this book due to FSOG-ish thing.

So ? My thoughts after finished it ?

First ~ Nope. There's NO BDSM things like on FSOG for sure, which is kinda disappointed me....a little...
Everything comes in vanilla, ladies.

Second ~ I can not NOT TO compare it to FSOG when Silver keep addressing Greyson as  "Grey" or "Mr. Black". I mean with thousands name out there, why "Grey" ? Just coincidence huh ?
Nu~uh !

Third ~ First few chapters were interesting enuf to read, well not the part when , but....after about 60% I started to feel kinda boring and keep asking myself "when will this story end ?"

When it hit 80%, I feels like reading MF-romance with two male MC and not a gay story.
I mean the "romantic" part is kinda cheesy for men.

description

Those silver & black balloons, silver & black table cloth and silver ware, it's way to "girly"...

I start rolling my eyes countless time ever since.
I start to think that maybe the author was new to gay story writing, but when I know that this book not her 1st MM romance book, I shocked !

description

Fourth ~ The repetition of "The Pretty Woman" thing by Grey best friend, Levi start to annoying me at some part, but I can't denied that I like this Levi guy and can not stop to keep picturing Liam Riley whole time ;)

description

But then I saw this !

description

Even Levi will have his own spotlight !!! (Dunno whether I should happy or...)

Fifth ~ even when I felt this book kinda too much in some part, but I must honest that I like both Black and Silver in some way.

Greyson Black, with a past like that and still have courage and optimism in his life are amazing.

On the other side, there's Brian Silver, a young multi billionaire with sweet and kindness heart really too good to be true to be found in real life. Brian is a like Prince charming from Disney's fairytale story.

Not I don't like both Grey & Brian characters, but It just...everything come way too perfect so that when the twist part show up at 90%, it looks just like WTF~moment for me...
What happened at 90% not just shocking me but make me frowning at the same time !

Sixth ~ I was really "happy" when - finally - the story seems to reach the end of the journey and the author chose it to ended the whole cheesy drama with HFN...
I'm okay with that, but then I found about TITANIUM...

description
What the...??

I mean what another cheesy-drama it will be when all the mystery had spilled on silver plate and solved on the first book ?

Will I read the next book ?
Well ? It's still a mystery for me too...
So, we'll see...

Finally, my final conclusion...

I hv little problems with typos, grammars and the writings style, so yes, it's annoyed me enuf. But to make it fair, I must give a point to the cover. As a coversLut, the cover deserve 5 stars.

The story was very romantic but way too cheesy for gay story, and the conflicts plus the suspense part not strong enough to make the story hit the climax.

BUT...

If you are a hopeless-romantic-person with sweet tooth and hv high tolerance with over-diabetes-sweetness, I believe...this book is definitely suit your taste very well...

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

4.5 Stars

Tyler May is a relatively new author for me and I fell in love with her blind vampire Zander as soon as I read his story in Angel of Darkness. When I saw Silver & Black was due for publication I quickly put in a request to Prism to review it. Just as the ARC landed in my inbox there were all sorts of posts on social media with it being compared to FSoG. I immediately assumed, wrongly might I add, that it must have a BDSM element – I read a lot of BDSM so that wasn’t a problem and I also assumed, again wrongly, that it wasn’t going to be a particularly healthy relationship between the two MC’s.

People this is not a copy of FSoG. Yes there is a contract….it’s an employment contract and it is turned down. Yes there are some strange circumstances about how this relationship initially starts but I felt it to be a great twist to the story, very unique in its portrayal and one that I had half kind of figured out along the way but the important thing at the end was that Brian Silver was honest, he was also totally smitten and very much in love!

This story has a little bit of everything. A very wealthy man, Brian Silver, who has had some pretty extreme health problems growing up and is determined to make as much of life as possible. A younger man, Greyson Black, who whilst grieving for his mother at fifteen ended up in a bad situation and was left to deal with an horrific breach of trust.

Greyson is a tough cookie for one so young and is determined to make his own way in life. When Brian Silver sweeps into his life he may be enamoured and a little overwhelmed but not once do you get the feeling that he would take advantage of the man’s wealth, in fact he spends a lot of his time turning down his help and offers of extravagant gifts.

Brian for his part adores the younger man and seems too good to be true. The people in his life may be few but they all appear to adore him and it seems that when any of them need help Brian is the first person there to offer it.

This is a story that has a unique plot line, plenty of twists and a dark danger from Greyson’s past that becomes entwined with Brain’s past. Everything appears linked to the pasts of both men but what does that mean to their future? This would have been a 5 star read if not for a few editing issues.

RE-READ ON AUDIO

I much preferred the ebook to the audio book. A lot of the attraction between them was lost to me as the narrator sounded like he would be better suited to reading either something without sex or a children's book. It spoilt the story and I would recommend sticking with the ebook.

“Are you sure?” “Yeah,” he whispers. “I need a solid yes or no, Mr. Silver.” I use his words.
He chuckles.“Yes, Mr. Black, I’d very much like it if you would fuck me.”

This was such a sweet story, it has humor and laughter and the banter, not only between them Brian & Grey, will keep you smiling throughout the book. And let's not forget the chemistry between the MCs! You will need to cool down from time to time. Their relationship is pure but complicated because Brian has not been honest towards Grey. The plot was quite interesting and gripping making Brian's revelation at the end a did-not-see-that-coming one.

I am looking forward to the next book and am wondering if there will be heartbreak since at the end of book 1 TM leaves us with: "Follow Silver and Greyson as they learn to balance business, pleasure, life, and loss in the next installment of Silver & Black: Titanium."

“Ah….” He groans and pumps into me. He blankets my back with his chest, holding himself in me as he convulses through his orgasm. He doesn’t move. Still inside me, he kisses the side of my lips. “Welcome to Silver Inc., Mr. Black. It’s going to be a pleasure doing business with you.”
This is going to be interesting.

What did I think?

What did I think?

What did I think?

Hmmmm....

You want honest? Okay. I enjoyed the 50% of this book, even I recalled some 'similarities' with 'that one famous book' and some books after that. And the next was just felt flat.
Here's my list...

Billionaire
Stalking
Research
Contract
Penthouse
New smartphone
And the texting
”What you do to me?” (remember this?)
…all of “He’s a good man” thing ;)
Quotes :
“I’m a complicated man, Mr. Black, and I’m very selfish. So when you agree to want me. I expect it only to be me.” Whoa, this just changed directions.
“I have specific tastes and I don’t date often. It took a while to find you and I want you. All of you.”

Didn't it reminds you of a very famous quotes... "My taste is very singular, Miss Steele"... (?)

Oh, well.Ring any bells, guys?

I dunno, maybe it's just the pattern? Or, I'm just being a nagging reader? Point my nose, blame me!
I found myself put it on hold a few time, because I was kinda tired. I was bored.
And I'm cranky when I'm bored.

And, to be perfectly frank, I don't think we need book 2 in the future.
The 'twist' at 90%, was just Mr.Silver being 'not very communicative' to Mr.Black.
Worth my time? Not so much.

The back cover of paperback "reminds me" of this.I hope it's just coincidence.

Well, this is a hard book for me to review. I always have two books going at the same time. One I read and the other I listen to. This was an audiobook for me. The narrator was so bad he reminded me of a 5th grader struggling through difficult words. Plus he kept saying dinna instead of didn’t. I wanted to scream.

Now, for the book itself. I tried to look past the narrator and just focus on the book. For the most part I liked it. I thought Black was obnoxious, but Silver made up for him. All this I don’t want to take your money, then he’d take expensive gifts. That was just tiring. Anyway, I made it through the entire book.

I enjoyed this. Some people have likened it to 50 shades of grey. Those people obviously didn't read 50 shades. Yes we have the billionaire trope here. So what I happen to like the trope and it's more rare in gay novels than main stream.

I liked the characters, both had very distinct and likable characteristics. There was no intense suspense, we had a bit of the action at the end but nothing that overwhelms the rest of the book. We had good supporting characters in Conner, Brady, Jeff. I loved Silvers twin. Good dialogues that in my opinion didn't feel choppy (other reviewers have disagreed). What I loved about this novel was that our MCs actually get to know each other, it wasn't an insta love that is so popular now.

What I didn't like was that It felt like Levi was abusing the fact that his best friend was dating someone rich. He goes and buys themselves suits on his boss's tab, Silver said to help Greyson not yourself. Also I Was a bit upset that we missed the official becoming of boyfriends. Didn't like Levi, feels like a party boy and a user. Grayson's breakup from Jeff was bit rushed, he got over his feeling very quickly.

Even though I had a few issues I still enjoyed it for what it was. An excellent job by a rather new author.

Excited about the sequel, I Want to see what happens with Greysons dad. Hopefully a bit of jealousy and drama.

Why it isn't the gay 50 Shades:
No BDSM. The amount sex scenes was in a much better proportion than 50 shades.

The only thing Grey and Steele have in common is a colorful surnume, couldn't resist, and being billionaires.
Grey had serious physiological problem and was a bit of a commitment phobe. Whereas Steel went head first and through the dialogue we could see his was very commited. Yes they both like control, but that in my opinion is part of being a CEO.

The author obviously got inspiration from Pretty Women, Kind of obvious.

50shades first novel was entirely character driven whereas this novel was character driven and had a bit of a mystery element.

I can go on but don't want to rant, I believe people will se comparisons where they want to.

Okay, after a while I started getting suspicious. It couldn't really be some m/m variation of "Fifty shades of grey", could it? Just without shades of grey, so to say? No, it couldn't, right? It was just lulling us readers into thinking so - and then wham! - it was going to turn into something unexpected and fabulous. A thriller. A social satire. Heck, I would agree to a horror story, even. Maybe Silver was really going to carve out Greyson's kidney or something. How cool that would be!
But... page after page, the book didn't turn into anything. It was really about a rich, handsome, arrogant CEO of a huge company courting his little employee...
Then I went and took a look at the reviews. And well, every one-star review was saying exactly the same thing. FSOG. And every five-star review was saying that "NO! IT WAS NOTHING LIKE FSOG! IT WAS ORIGINAL! AND BRILLIANT!"
And since I haven't noticed anything original or brilliant in the part of the book I've read, I think I know what reviews I trust. So, time to DNF it.

I know I'm on the side that, "it could be gayer". In my reading it seems like the characters are more open to make dynamic decisions. But the slash fiction 50 shades grey. Interesting thought. But can we not

I must admit that i was very sceptical purchasing this book due to it being of the m/m genre, and i usually do not go out of my way to read strictly m/m...........
That being said, I was pleasently surprised with the story itself, i was able to look deeper then the sex scenes (which were way beyond hot by the way).
Tyler May grabs your attention and holds it throughout the entire story and the twists and turns totally blew me away in the best possible way.
The banter between the characters is quite comical and it was like a breather of fresh air that this was not like any other book i have read, and not just because of the genre itself.
I laughed, cried and actually yelled at my kindle quite a few times!!!
I am proud to say that i am no longer closed minded to the M/M genre thanks to Tyler May!!! Can not wait to dive into more of heer work!!

This is a new author to me, and I really wasn't sure what to expect as the reviews I read before were mixed and full of references to Fifty Shades. Which I have read and found to be ok, but this is nothing like fifty shades. I found it to be a really enjoyable read, I loved Grey ( Mr Black) and Brian (Silver) as well as the other characters Levi, Deborah and Connor. The story was hot, and clever although I figured out one of Silver's secrets pretty much from the start. I had no idea about the other and was completely shocked by the end. I will certainly be buying the next book (even though I am not a fan of cliffhanger books) as I didn't really see the end as a cliffhanger, and I really want to read more about Silver & Black.

I loved this book, I found the main characters interesting, flawed, human, predictable and unpredictable all at the same time which in turn I think makes the story more believable. Let's face it, in life you come across all kinds of people and sometimes the most impossible scenarios are the ones that are true. I enjoyed every aspect of the this book, the romance, the backstories, and the drama. At the end of the book there was a note that there will be a second book continuing the story of the two mains. When will that be released???? I can't wait, also I have a suggestion, it would be really nice for Levi and Jeff to have a book. That is definitely an interesting coupling, what do think about that huh ?????? :)

DNF at 20%.

I just can't anymore...

I never thought I would get this sick of reading the words 'silver' and 'black'.

According to my reader -

the word black is mentioned 160 times;

silver is mentioned 829 times.

No, seriously??? 829 times???!!!

I won't even start on the story itself...a millionaire stalker, a cinderfella, and a cheesy romance...

And the cover was so good. :(

The suspense and twist was good. And it gave me all the closure I needed. Don’t know why but several times I got fifty shades vibe in this book.

I will start off by saying that I absolutely loved this story.
This is my first book that I've read from this author and it won't be my last.
Greyson Black is a college student working as a barista at Silver Coffee one of the largest coffee chains in New York. Greyson has not had an easy life, forced to mainly take care of himself since a young teen when his mom passed away, he has learned to be independent but it didn't come easy for him he has suffered hurt along the way.
He has been having an affair so to speak with his boss ( who is hiding in the closet) for awhile now until secrets have been revealed. Feeling hurt again he leans on his best friend and roommate, Levi, who I absolutely love.
Brian Silver CEO of Silver Inc, Rich, Hot, Sexy Billionaire meets up with Greyson and well let's just say Sparks Fly.
Mr. Silver comes off as a snooty rich snob in Greyson's eyes only until the he realizes the true man himself. Let's just say Brian Silver as rich and sexy as he is, is also suffering from a health issue that he has had to struggle all his life with. Mr Black and Mr Silver as they both teasingly call each other have grown very close and I will say the sex scenes between these two are off the charts, but there is so much more to these two the kindness and love that Silver has for Greyson is so beautiful, this saying there is someone who is not happy to see these two together. This author has brilliantly written in some angst where we think we know who the guilty party is but... we are taken by surprise in finding out the real culprit.
The secondary characters in this book are amazing especially Levi I cannot wait to hear more from him he will have you laughing and just totally falling in love with him .
As as much as this story is beautiful and we witness a budding love we do have the angst and are left turning the pages wondering what will happen next but it's not overly done. Im very excited for Book #2 Tittanium to release so we get to see more of Greyson and Brian ( Black & Silver) and how things with them are going. Also how Levi and a very unsuspected other are managing.
I highly recommend this Five Star read and looking forward to reading more from this author.

NO FSOG! NO COMPARE! What can I say about this book? This is brilliant. I've been seeing people compare it to FSOG and I don't SEE it AT ALL. NOT at all. There is no Christian Grey. Christian was abusive and controlling. Silver is NOTHING like that. NOTHING. I'm tired of hearing people compare every rich man/woman and poor man/woman novel to FSOG. Really? This story was original. Yes, there were some mistakes. I've been watching this author for awhile now and I noticed that she is polite and one of the nicest authors I've ever come across. I communicate with her often on facebook, although she may not know it's me ;) To me that adds to the novel experience. She has addressed the errors and is now, according to her facebook, in the process of fixing them with another editor and proof readers. I don't know the full story, but she is so kind that I'm sure that if you message her she will explain everything in what happened. But back to the story, that's why I'm here in the first place. You'll notice this is my very first post. Yup, made a goodreads just to leave this review and I will be review more of my favorite authors now. But I feel passionate about Ms. May's work.

Brian Silver is a dream. Greyson is just a perfect soul. I love them together. There is no instant love, but instant lust which I'm all about. The bedroom scenes are plentiful and so so good. Their chemistry is undeniable. The secondary characters are so incredible. I just fell in love with Levi. And the story and plot was a perfect flow. Tyler May is a hell of a story teller. I know there were errors, but the story is worth it. I am a fan through and through. Good job, Ms. May. Looking forward to your future novels.

**I was given an ACR from the author for my honest review**

Another amazing book by Tyler May! I was hooked from beginning to end.

I have seen the comparison to FSOG in some reviews, NO JUST NO. The plot in Sliver & Black was very original, you can't compare every couple you read about (billionaire/student or older/younger) to FSOG that's just crazy. Yes there are a few errors in the story but not enough to pull you from the story, but I don't think I have read a book in the past year that hasn't had errors.

Brian Sliver the sexy, rich CEO has is eyes set on Greyson Black. Greyson is you average college student, working to put himself through school. One bad break up and a chance meeting sets Greyson on the road to love and happiness, or so he thinks.

We get a very engaging story with twist and turns that keeps you guessing who can be trusted. The character development was great not just with Greyson and Brian but with the secondary character also and the chemistry between Brian and Greyson is amazing. Yes the relationship developed fast but who doesn't love a little insta love.

I would recommend this to any one.

I will be honest and say I was sceptical that this would be another rich guy with a troubled background gets the poor guy by buying him story but it wasn't.
Brian Silver has had to cope with things but they aren't damaging to his personality. He wasn't abused, unloved etc he had a condition that left him feeling vulnerable and because of that he likes control. Not in a BDSM way he actually wants to help people and feels powerless if they don't want his help.
Enter Greyson Black. He works at one of Silver's coffee shops when they meet and yes Brian tries to offer him a job he is totally unqualified for but Greyson says no thanks.
Their relationship is built on both men wanting something for the other but both not quite able to work out what it is or are unwilling to say but it works, they work and I loved this book.
Can't wait for the sequel

WOW... I really enjoyed this book, got hooked right away even though I was a crying mess 5%in.. The story takes you in right away & your pulse is going crazy b/c you can't wait to see what happens next & not wanting to put the book down! The story took towards a twist almost at the end & I got peed off & flicked my e-reader(oops). The book had my heart racing & I was emotional. Had a few laughs & a nice few cries(happy&sad). But damn, the sex scenes were hot!!! I loved Greyson& Silver immediately, Levi as well, he's so funny. I hated the book to end & so can't wait for next one!! Well Done Tyler :)
