May 4, 2026: Skimmed for background information on his trial and imprisonment in Toledo by the friars of the old observance, John's unwavering calm despite untold sufferings, mystical experiences while he was there and the beginnings of his greatest writings. Specifically, I was looking for more information on Romances, but it is such a minor work, I have not been very successful.
