When King Aker'on of Bariox sacrifices himself and plummets to Earth for the sake of the crew on his spaceship, he has no idea that he's about to meet his Beloved as predicted by his Life Prophecy. And Jonah Emerson has no idea that he is about to meet an alien who will turn his lonely small-town life upside down. When they meet, the mutual attraction is immediate, physical and much stronger than any of them ever thought possible. But while the powerful Aker'on is a king and ruler of billions of people on his home planet, Jonah is a former US Army Ranger. He takes no bullshit from anyone, least of all domineering kings from the stars. He's extremely attracted to the swaggering alien warrior who is now on the run from a cruel enemy, but there's one thing he doesn't In Aker'on's species, males can impregnate other males...
Alien Warrior's Baby is a science-fiction novel about two powerful and headstrong men who find love at the worst possible time and the male pregnancy that it results in.
I was so disappointed in this book after loving the author's first work. All the elements that I love are there--scifi, fated mates, mpreg, etc. Unfortunately, neither of these warriors acted like a warrior and it bothered me to the point that I didn't even finish the book. So many things showed faulty logic and lack of strategic thinking. If you are worried that the government might be watching your house, why return to it? If you are worried that you are going to be hunted and killed by other aliens, why seek out your mate and drag him into it? I was too put off by plot holes like this to complete the book. Others may not care as much about these things as what was shaping up to be a hot love story! I will definitely pick up the author's next book.
The king of an alien nation gives up his life for his crew. His fate- to be hunted down like a prized lion on a safari trek. The hunting grounds? Earth.
It’s an incredibly entertaining premise, and the author delivers. Both Jonah and Aker’on are fully fleshed our characters. Jonah’s stubbornness and devotion to his learned military lifestyle, as well as his troop of kids, really make him a perfect partner for the tempestuous Aker’on.
I personally wasn’t a fan of how condensed the story line is- I prefer to have stories and the relationships in them develop slowly, to give them some time to actually feel real. But I also know that the fact that the story takes place over a week and a few days is important to the plot. And overall, the result was perfect.
King Aker'on of Bariox decides to sacrifice himself to save his ship. He plummets to earth where he is surprised to meet his Beloved. Jonah Emerson is a former US Army Ranger and he does not tolerate orders even if the giver is very sexy. The two unite to fight the aliens after Aker'on but they cannot fight their desire for each other. There is one thing Aker'on forgot to mention - on his planet men can become pregnant.
I loved Aker'on. He did not know any of earth's customs or speech patterns and the results were often funny, confusing, and misinterpreted. No one had ever escaped when the aliens hunted but Jonah did not accept that. There were many in the town willing to help. And soon Aker'on's fate was not a foregone conclusion. It was great to see. I loved this story. It had some humor, lots of excitement and plenty of heat. I plan on looking for more by this author.
I really enjoyed this book! I really liked the premise of the story and for the most part its conclusion. I wished it expanded on the Gree in trend from past history (maybe their POV). I honestly feeI like I was left hanging a little at the end. Like....Does the king have to eventually go back to his planet? All in all, it was a good book :)
This is the kind of shit I hate. These two never talked to each other. Anything of significance was spoken to other people. Look, if you can drop your drawers with someone you can fucking talk to them. Ridiculous.
The overall story here is interesting, but it's a one time read. The alien invasion has some real ironic developments. Naming them would definitely be a spoiler lets just say it's much ado about nothing!
What a great Love Story of course full of really bad aliens 👽 a hot alien king a handsome traumatized army ranger and what you would think is a dead end situation
I was into this at first and then it just became incredibly boring. All the talk about what was going to be happening but nothing was actually happening, it just felt like a set up for a huge let down. I paused while reading and started a different book and realized I have no desire to get back into it. Maybe someday.
An interesting Omegaverse. Aker’on is a warrior King. Jonah isn’t Army Ranger. Both of these men are warriors. Yet, they have found their mate… from another galaxy. It’s an enjoyable story. It’s interesting how it all plays out.
Cute romance. Though it isn't a really deep read, I quite enjoyed it. The characters are different and it isn't a revamped mf romance. It felt different and both of the MCs were very "alpha" male.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Jonah's reaction to being told that he was pregnant was sort of awesome, and much more realistic than many mpreg stories. There were times when I was frustrated that Jonah and Aker'on wouldn't just talk to each other rather than making assumptions, but again, sort of realistic. And the ending was perfect.
Quick, entertaining story. The premise was fine only problem was that Jonah did not appear to be as vested as Aker'on. From the beginning Aker'on stated Jonah was his Davan but Jonah continue yo act fairly disinterested. Otherwise the adventure was somewhat entertaining, was waiting for a big pow wow with the Grees. Overall it was entertaining enough.
I'm a big fan of mpreg romance. Throw in some military men a nd a big strong sexy alien and I'm hooked. I really liked this book. I look forward to reading more from o m this author. I couldn't put it down.
This is my first Mpreg m/m book and it wasn't disappointing at all. I love how the storyline develops along with the characters. I hope there is a story of Teron.
