“I love you, and I’ll love you until the day I die. Even then, I’ll keep loving you.”
With a baby on the way and a booming business, things couldn't be better—or more stressful. Between trying to find someone to help run the firm alongside Alex while Jaime is going through a turbulent pregnancy, Reid Enterprises faces the possibility of a hostile takeover.
Jaime works to help Alex's brother, Mark find himself in the midst of their drama, while trying to keep Paul from accepting a position closer to home, but far from them.
There are only so many things this newlywed couple can keep juggling before something hits the ground.
** Wife to the Boss is book 6 in the Managing the Bosses series. ** Managing the Bosses Series: The Boss The Boss Too Who's the Boss Now * Gift for the Boss (Christmas Novella) Love the Boss I Do the Boss Wife to the Boss Employed by the Boss Brother to the Boss Senior Advisor to the Boss
Families are a rough crowd especially Jamie's family but with Alex around he keeps her sane. With Jamie is also pregnant and wasn't sure how Alex will feel about it but she's surprised the with the person she sees.
I enjoyed this one...and I can't wait to see if Mark get his own HEA. I am pretty sad with what happened with Christine...I wanted her to get herself together and come out of the funk that was Stephen. This one though it had it's ups and downs was pretty tame drama wise compared to the others in this series which was good. There were still points of worry where you thought, "Okay when is the other shoe going to drop and the proverbial s*it going to hit the fan for Alex and Jamie." but it never came...at least not in a way that would endanger their relationship. They do have major downs in this book so the drama is still there but it's more family drama than anything.
Now the last chapter in this was the beginning of Mark's story and I hope we get more from that. I can't wait to see where else this series will go from here.
Honestly, bringing babies into the storyline ruined the plot for me. Alex and Jamie had such a passionate relationship, and they barely got to enjoy married life only to find out they will be tied down with children. I get that this would be a delight for many, but I’d love to see a romance story that doesn’t inevitably end with babies. Not everyone dreams of this.

OMG I have come across another great series. I was very sad when managing the bosses had to end as I felt like there could have been more to come. I was hooked on this series from the first book to the last book and I was looking for more to read. I would recommend this series to anyone that is looking for a thrill, excitement, compassion, true friendships, the love and the trust that we shared amongst these two was really good I give it 5 stars because I couldn't put the books down and I truly was looking forward to the next page all the way until the very end where I was very sad because the only it was over great job Lexy Trimms
Just finished this and loving where this story is going. Things are still hectic for Jamie & Alex with several hospital visits, lots of stress on all parties, and some real angst for Jamie but will things turn out for the better? I’m still loving this story, plot, and characters. Some grammatical errors but nothing over the top, lots of banter, lots of romance and some steamy sex scenes. Onto the next in this series.
I have really enjoyed this follow up book and the continued connection and the characters getting to know each other. The characters and trials make for some very interesting reading! I really enjoyed the depth and the continued progress in life itself. The better connect between Mark and Alex was really nice too!
An interesting story following the protagonists throughout their lives and as used to we have unexpected turn of events. towards the end of the story new characters are introduced intriguing our interest for the upcoming book. As in all preview audiobooks the same narrators are used making the audio listening experience pleasant.
Wife to the Boss (Managing the Bosses #6) was a good read by Lexy Timms. Jamie and Alex have a baby on the way and business just seems to be getting more hectic and stressful. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
I am so enjoying this series. So glad it comes in pieces. The main characters are both boss. I love the fiestiness of Jamie and how calming she can be for Alex. Relieving his stress.
This is a great series that follows the relationship of a couple that I have fallen totally in love with. The characters are so relatable I can almost feel them through Lexy’s words. I’m really enjoying watching their relationship grow.
Wife to the Boss (Managing the Bosses #06) by Lexy Timms – I may have said finally in a loud exasperated voice at some point! Truly, I’m romantic when it comes to marriage lol! Happy Reading!
Kind of disappointed with this one. The books were getting better and better. Still need more editing but the story and characters were improving. This one set it right back to where they started. Don't think I'll be reading the rest.
I can't get enough of the Managing the Bosses. I had no idea when I read Boss that I would be in for such a steamy and emotional ride. Jamie and Alex are married now and face some of the same challenges as they have throughout the series. Reid Enterprises is changing and so is Alex and Jamie. They are expecting now and Jamie's family is once again presenting another emotional challenge for the couple to get through. Alex is getting along great with his brother Mark which helps reduce his stress level but now Mark has to find his niche. Jamie and Mark have a great brotherly dynamic which often makes me laugh at their witty banter. I just really love the way the characters interact and how they are complex yet not overly complex.
Each book brings about another twist and trial in the lives of Jaime, Alex and their loved ones. With the good comes the bad in life and this series delivers a real life story line. Perfection doesn't exist just because you have money. Real life still happens! On to book 7
I've been a fan since I read the first book in this series but this book left me lacking. I am a fan of Alex and Jamie but it seems this book was more about everyone else and their drama. The ending also left me wondering if I should even bother purchasing the next book in the series.
