One of Candice's main characters in "The Innocent," Cristien La Roche is based on the heroes from Medieval Romances like those written by Chretien De Troyes (Yep, I used his name) and Marie De France with a little Mr. Rochester thrown in from "Jane Eyre."
She hopes you enjoy her books,that they make you laugh and cry. She hopes they make you believe that good, light, love or whatever you call the best in the world, will find a way to conquer that which is not.
