“I hate you!” she shouted every night in Kane Holt’s dreams. His reaction was the same, shifting into his wolf, raging with pain and confusion. He had no idea who this woman was and why she hated him. All he knew was that he needed her and would do anything to find her. Months of dreaming and nothing changed. He was at his limit. How was he supposed to find her when he couldn’t make it past the pain? Sleepless nights were never-ending and effecting his everyday responsibilities. A simple and inconsequential decision to visit friends changed everything. On a big TV, there was his mate, the lovely Miss Denney. He ran to Hollywood in search of his other half and nothing was going to stop him. Would he get her to change his mind or would she still tell him to leave?
3.25stars. idk I just couldn't connect at first. I think I expected more .After a bit it got better and I enjoyed it:) I would like to read about Gage and Arabelle
safety gang safe: both virgins heroine only kissed a few times.
This just didn't work as well as the second one did for me. There was too much going on too quickly for me to enjoy it. I think it would have made for a much better longer novel with more details fleshed out.
We have a virgin alpha shifter hero, who dreams of his "reluctant" mate, finds her, she resists him due to some twin confusion, they bang like rabid animals, more confessions, HEA.
I really don't know why I keep reading this authors books. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess. I like the ideas of the books, more then the books themselves.
This one had a much better flow to the writing than I’ve seen in her other books. I think this author just isn’t for me but I have few bought already so I’m determined to read them.
3.5 Stars Raging Kane is book three in the Wolfe creek series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I devoured this story within half an hour and was satisfied throughout. Like the previous two in this series, the writing style is easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. The chemistry between Kane and Carolyn was clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I liked that the connection between them was instant and that they had been dreaming of one another for a few months. I liked that Kane found his mate and he wasn’t willing to ever lose her. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.
This is the third book in the Wolfe Creek series by C.M. Steele. Kane Holt is a wolf shifter, Alpha of his pack and mayor of his town of Redding. Just like his friend, Hunter from Wolfe Creek, Kane has been having dreams about his mate except unlike Hunter Kane's mate hates him in his dreams. He does everything he can to avoid sleep so he doesn't have to see the hurt look on the woman's face as she yells at him. Carolyn is an artist and she can't understand why she keeps dreaming about the same man and why she's so hurt and angry with him. She has a whole sketch book filled with drawings of the gorgeous stranger but has no idea who he is. Kane is helping out Hunter when he sees his mate on TV, in a movie and about to take her top off. After smashing Hunter's flatscreen and apologizing he heads to Hollywood to claim his mate.
This is a wolf shifter book. It's about Kane the alpha. He is the mayor of his town and they seem to have a good things going up there. He falls for a human and then has to explain to her what he is and how he has to mate with her. This is a cute story but I found it weak. It had the possessive guy and the hot sex but I found everything too neat. I like more friction and drama. I am sick I know but I like when they have more obstacles to overcome. Also, Caro was a weaker them average heroine in my books. Even the big misunderstanding was stupid because she just gives in. Like ok so I accept that you are a half wolf and that you want to mate me and the fact that you were naked with a boner on top of my twin sister is fine now let's F@&$... Really weak!!! Sorry I wanted more drama some sparks after all those whet dreams and longing, I felt ripped off somehow. I can't really explain it. It was good for me but really not great.
I am trying to follow this series, but the time line is so confusing. In the 2nd book when Kane saw his mate, Hunter already had children. When he got his own book, Hunter was not even married. If a human can't shift until after they give birth, how did Carolyn shift? Did Dan wait 6 years to get his revenge? How did they have a 5-year old? Fantasy is one thing, this series is confusing in the time line making this not a good series.
Yet another amazing story in the series. Finally, we get answer to the question everyone must have in their minds from book 1 in the series. Why does Kane's mate hate him. The book had all the emotions and suspense. Would not say much as to not reveal the major suspense. It is a good read.😁
I really enjoyed this one. I was so curious about Kane's story from the little sneak peaks in the previous books and I liked that he also fell for a human. The whole plot twist with was interesting too!
I liked how this book intertwined with the first book. I liked having the main characters from the previous books all in this one. It was also cool seeing parts in another perspective. It was intriguing knowing what Kane was thinking as Hunter was talking to Creed.
It was interesting how the perspectives switched. It helped me know more about the characters, what they were going through, and what they were thinking. I was interested in finding out why Carolyn was pushing Kane away. I also liked the misunderstanding and the revealing. It made me intrigued in what would happen next.
Overall the story was good, but could have flowed better. Some of the dialogue felt like it was off, so that it wasn't a smooth flow. Also this was first book read in series so couple times was minor questions of things that happened before this book, not enough that felt you needed to read others first. In early part of book had the time skip, which made me think missed something. Overall these were minor enough that would only drop it down one star.
I love this shifter series and this third book is a great addition. Kane is an alpha of another pack just outside of Wolf Creek and he has been dreaming of his mate and once he figures out who she is he goes and gets her.
Great story and it made sense why in all the dreams she hated him, cause he was so perfect I kept try in to figure out what there was to hate about him!!! Can't wait for Gages story hopefully next
I loved this one as much as the first in this series. Kane is your classic alpha and so yummy. Carolyn is a sweet character and I really enjoyed the she was written.
