This is the last of a set of books I am reading to try and understand the anti-evolution crowd. The title of the book itself says a lot. It would not really matter if Darwin made a mistake or did not make a mistake. The point is that evolution has been proven by science beyond a shadow of a doubt. The book ends with the author explaining that Genesis got the "creation" right. The whole thing: the rib, the seven days, the instant creation. If that isn't pathetic, I can't define that word. Ignorance is so much easier than science and truth. And the world is awash in ignorance right now. And that ignorance is leading us all on a path of existential destruction.

Er redet eine menge um den heißen Brei und kommt recht spät zu relevanten wissenschaftlichen Aspekten finde ich, aber all in all lesbar.
That science is sometimes not right, that there are still lots of things we don't know and that even the things we think we know should be reviewed and re-categorized, no question about it. This book shows some weird examples of which the author creates a whole new earth history theory which I could only partly follow and on which I do not agree but make up your own opinion if you are interested.
