I would read anything James Herndon wrote - he is one of my teaching heroes. There is one point in particular that will stick out for me from this book - where he says "if you were trying to think of the worst environments to learn in, i would think of a classroom" classic.
just a book by an author i've liked for some time. this book is out of print so i ordered it on e-bay and I'm glad i did. you can actually judge this book by it's cover.
