He used to think jumping out of planes was an adrenaline kick. Until he tried falling in love.

Whitney:

I knew starting my career as a physical therapist would be tough. But I never expected the challenge of my newest patient, Harlow Bradford.

He may be a smoking hot American hero, but he’s still a cocky, arrogant player.

Harlow suffered catastrophic injuries in a helicopter crash, but his doctor claims he’s almost completely recovered. Based on my training, though, I’m suspicious of both of their motives.

Harlow’s recovery story seems a little too good to be true. I’m too smart to fall for his act.

So why is it so hard to remember that my job is to heal his body, not fantasize about jumping his bones?

Harlow:

Free-falling into a combat zone used to be the ultimate rush. Now I’m free-falling into a different kind of enemy territory: love and commitment.

I can have any girl I want, but serious relationships are off limits to guys like me.

I’m an airman, married to the USAF. I only trust my pararescue team.

I jump out of planes, I rescue my brothers, I save the world. Until my world crashes down— literally.

Now my course is colliding with Whitney Reid, who thinks she knows better than my own doctor.

I’m determined to return to my Special Forces unit, and distractions to any mission can be deadly. Especially when they come in the sexy, curvy form of the physical therapist who is questioning my doctor’s judgment and causing me to question my own damn sanity.

I know I can get in her pants, but I refuse to let her get in my way. So why can’t I get her out of my head?

Harlow is a full-length stand-alone romance novel. Harlow has no cheating, no cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA. It’s not necessary to read the other books in The Bradford Brothers series to enjoy Harlow, although you’ll soon become addicted to these bad boy military brothers.

** For a limited time only , this bonus edition contains a copy of Jensen, Book # 1 in The Bradford Brothers Series.

Harlow Bradford is looking forward to returning to active duty after suffering from a near fatal helicopter accident while on a mission to recover downed airmen behind enemy lines. Harlow is a SEAL & has had an exceptional recovery both physically & surgically. He keeps asking his doctor when he can return to active duty but is told that he needs to do a little more work before the powers that be will give him the all clear. Whitney is a physical therapist intern working on the military base when she is invited to attend a lecture by a doctor who will be sending more military personnel to the facility where she works. Whitney has a hard time taking in all the claims the doctor is boasting about with his patient & questions him at the toward the end of the lecture. She just can't believe everything is as good as the good doctor would have everyone believe. The next day she finds herself face to face with Harlow the doctor's amazing patient. Harlow & Whitney are both skeptical of one another & it takes them working together before they both start to see the other is more than capable. But when Harlow's doctor starts to act strange regarding Harlow's treatment, Whitney knows there has to be more to what the doctor is telling everyone. When the doctor removes Whitney as Harlow's therapist he is less than honest with everyone involved. Will Harlow believe what the doctor tells him about Whitney? Will Whitney listen to the doctor's threats? Will Harlow & Whitney find a way back to each other?

This is a rework to a book originally titled Harlow in the Bradford Brothers Series by Juliana Conners. I enjoyed Whitney & Harlow's story about recovery & working toward what is important to each of them. It is a sweet enemies to lovers romance that takes a hard look at how finding out the truth is a great reward.

Wow I'm loving reading about these sexy military brothers and the women that fall for them! Harlow is a hot name, too. So, it made me sad to see him doubt himself or put himself down whenever the doc countered anything he thought. And his physical therapist was a little firecracker! Always asking questions, fighting for the truth, and trusting her gut. I also loved hearing how the couple from the previous story was doing, along with their mom and brother. Very enjoyable read, I received an arc.

This book was a serious insta-lust but provided us with a good amount of drama to keep me intrigued as to what was coming next. I do enjoy a good navy seal novel and this one did not disappoint. Some bits felt like they could have been elaborated on more where others just seemed to be repeated a few too many times but all in all I was happy with how it progressed and the HEA.

This is a book may be too hot for my kindle!!! This book has steamy hot scenes and lots of chemistry.
Whitney is trying to do her job when she meets Harlow. Their immediate connection is outstanding. There is plenty of love, lust and drama. This book will have you on edge while you follow Whitney and Harlow.
It has a great storyline and some aspects that we all could learn from. You do not have to settle for love.

I fell in love with these characters right off the bat. I kept hoping that they would combine each of their true desires but as the author put a twist or two in I became frustrated at times. I laughed in a few places and in the end I was left wanting more of these two characters.

Never under estimate the power of a strong woman, a weak but strong man and love that is a first sight.

Happy Sexy Reading

Just Pretend by Juliana Conners a five-star read that will melt your underwear. This is a standalone romance with a HEA, but it does tell us the story of the of the Bradford brothers (Who wouldn’t want to be part of a Bradford double decker sandwich).
Harlow Bradford is a man who has served his country saved many lives, including those of his brothers, both blood and country. After a helicopter crash he needs major reconstructive surgery and rehab, where he makes an amazing recovery. Most people are amazed by this fact, but one person smells something fishy with the good Doctor who performed the miracle.
Whitney Reid is just an intern in a physical therapy department, but she’s a smart lady, she doubts the good doctor’s words, but when she gets the opportunity to work closely with Harlow to check his stats and his body. Can all of her dreams come true? Or will they fall down around her ears? Or knees?
If you want a hot and steamy five-star read with a good story and hot boys and women with brains, then look no further than Juliana Conners, she writes great stories and they just keep getting better and better.

Harlow is the star of the dog and pony show his Dr. puts on after doing reconstructive surgery on Harlow's face following a horrific helicopter crash in hostile territory. He hates it. He just wants to get back to his unit with with two brothers where he can save more fallen soldiers lives. Whitney is a motivated physiotherapist intern who really wants to work with Harlow because it will help her career. Being near all his muscles wouldn't hurt either. But Whitney doesn't believe anyone can make such a miraculous recovery from traumatic brain injury so quickly and doesn't understand why Harlow isn't already back with his unit after assessing him. The good doctor is up to something but he is one step ahead of her.
Harlow's character seems typical of a soldier. He works very hard to stay fit and qualify to be with his team. Whitney is alternately wishy washy and driven. She has put up with her unemployed boyfriend sitting on her couch all day playing video games, doing nothing to find a job for months. But when it comes to her patients, she is very determined to see them succeed. Harlow helps her see where she is getting in her own way.
The plot is well developed. I had my suspicions what was going on but the way things worked out was completely unpredictable. I really enjoyed this story and the suspense. There were a few places the novel was a little less polished such as when Harlow changes his mind almost without thinking about it. It made sense but a little more lead up to that decision would have been helpful to the reader. I love that we see Whitney learn to value herself more. I think this author has a lot of potential. It will be interesting to see where she goes from her. Harlow has brothers.

And here we have last weekends def. winner in the section "JUST PRETEND" I never read that book.

The Idea was good but the writing was poor and the story made me want to scream at times. When the other book this weekend "only" made me angry this one really did that AND made me want to scream. I just kept on going to read it because I could not believe that this was actually happening I must have been in a kind of shock.

I do not even know where to start if I had to explain what was wrong with this story.

Lets sum it up to one thing that stands before everything else ... this is the first time ever that I heard that a SEAL gets his orders from a civil Dr. and not from a commanding officer.

This was a fast read that was told from duel POV. The characters were extremely conflicted internally and at the beginning of the story with each other. There was a quick resolution that made the ending feel rushed and other parts of the story drag. It was a good story.

The story line seemed like a good one but the execution failed. The writing was awkward with a lot of typos. It made me spend more time trying to figure out what the author meant than actually enjoying the story.

The plot was interesting, the problem is that it's the same as the first book in the series, and that makes it a little boring, especially if you are reading the books one after the other. Basically is a guy meeting girl with loser boyfriend, and the girl leaving boyfriend for new love, and changing for the better in the process, of course guy misunderstands her and blames her for something she didn't do, but then realizes his error and goes back to beg forgiveness, just to have girl save him from his problems. Exact same plot from the first book, just different circumstances. It's sad, because the book was actually good, if with a few weird things, but after reading the exact same plot just a day before, it lost a little bit of appeal.

Riley is a physical therapist intern who works with injured veterans. She is living with a boyfriend who stays at home playing video games and who expects her to support him, and do all the housework and cleaning. They never spend time together any more. One day her boss takes her to a lecture from a skilled doctor who helped a seal go from destroyed face and major brain damage to almost functioning normally in less than a year. Riley is skeptical of the doctors claims but is happy that Harlow is so improved.
Harlow is a seal who got blown up last year with major facial damage. Dr. Davis made him handsomer than ever and he is ready to go back to his unit. Dr. Davis says he has been cleared by him buy the medical board is fighting it. He suggests that Harlow see an outside physical therapist to help convince the board. So Harlow ends up working with Riley who is impressed by Harlow's physical shape. She is also very attracted to him. When she and Harlow almost kiss she is interrupted by her boyfriend who breaks up with her. Now there is nothing keeping them apart besides a therapist/ patient relationship. They find a loophole saying that they can be romantically or physically involved if they are married or engaged. They decide to pretend to be engaged so Riley won't be fired.
This is a good book about a therapist who can't keep her hands off her patient in more ways than one. There is also a little mystery involved with figuring out what the doctor was up too. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

"Oh my God. Dr. Davis is the worst."

Said the high school teenager... oops, no. He's a grown man, Navy SEAL in fact. And possibly the most immature dickhead I've had the displeasure of reading for some time.

Lots of wordy parts and so many boring bits that I truly skimmed a heap.
The injured SEAL with a burned face, mental and physical disabilities yet has been miraculously healed by specialist doctor and who now parades around at seminars for said doctor. Chomping at the bit to get back to active training, Harlow's now been placed with Whitney, an intern physical therapist at some military base, to be bought up to speed and ready for action again.

There's something dodgy going on, and Whitney is actually smart enough to question the Doc on occasion, but Harlow?! Man, that guy is a dick!

He legit thinks Whitney could be The Real Thing because, and I quote - I'm wishing I could feel her naked pussy on my raw cock.

Poetic right? What a fucking charmer! This of course is after he's thrown his little tanty and she stops him from storming out her door. When he accused her of not being the woman he thought she was and insults the fuck out of her. Dude, you legitimately only just fucking met a week or two ago! Calm down mate!

Harlow is just such a gullible moron that I found it so hard to like or sympathise with him. When he's not being so trusting of the good doctor, he's being a dick to or about Whitney. I just didn't like this one.

I read the version ‘Harlow’ previously and I loved it then, I think he is my favourite character out of the three brothers. I loved revisiting Whitney and Harlow’s world and rereading it again with the bonus of longer chapters and extended story was great, I still really liked the story and loved some of its characters.
I thought Whitney and Harlow were great together. I loved their interactions with each other (some very hot!) and other characters, I loved the appearance of Riley (Jensen’s partner) in the story again, she was such a great character in the first book and it was hard not to love her again. Whitney wasn’t a favourite of mine from the start including Dr. Davis (who I hated throughout the whole book and got what he deserved in the end). But Whitney did grow on me through my read. Although I loved how much she grew and finally gave in to what she wanted, there were still times she annoyed the heck out of me. Harlow was just great, I loved everything about him - how loyal and caring he was but demanding when he needed to be although I thought he needed to get over being the puppet for Dr. Davis and break free which he finally did at the end.
I loved the very hot bonus story about Whitney and Harlow at the end of the book, I was glad she finally did what she wanted with his abs

Another great story by Juliana Conners and this time it's about Harlow (Jensen's brother) and Whitney. After surviving a crash and multiple surgeries, Harlow becomes the poster child for the doctor who did his plastic surgeries. Whitney is an intern physical therapist at a clinic that Harlow get referred to. Their first sighting is at a conference and right from the beginning she has doubts about his dr and the next thing she knows she is assigned to be his therapist. Harlow needs to be cleared so he can go back to duty with his SEAL team but his dr keeps saying that the military won't pass him for duty and that he needs physical therapy. Both of them try to fight their feelings for each other but eventually lose but here is more on the line than either of them know especially when it seems the dr isn't what he seems to be and gets in between them.
A great read with some suspense, steamy scenes, a hot SEAL man and a woman who finally decides to take risks. I really enjoyed their chemistry and the whirlwind lust/love affair and I can't wait to read about the oldest brother Ramsey.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I loved it, this is the story of Harlow and Whitney. Harlow is recovering from his injuries when his helicopter is shot down and Dr. Davies is using him on a promotional tour talking about his ground breaking techniques and Harlow's recovery. Whitney is a physical therapist who is set to work with Harlow and Dr. Davies and other veterans. Harlow sees Whitney and he is smitten, but she is in a relationship and his therapist. Whitney fantasizes about Harlow and after she breaks up with her boyfriend, Harlow asks her to dinner. Whitney does not see any reason why Harlow hasn't been cleared for active duty and when she questions Dr. Davies, she gets re-assigned and is no longer working with Harlow. Whitney thinks something is wrong and sets out to find out what. This was a good story and I thought Harlow was a little too trusting of the Dr. but I could understand how he felt he owed him. The way Harlow and Whitney fell in love was so hot and the chemistry was explosive. I liked the story of Jensen and Riley, and now Harlow and Whitney added to the Bradford boys, I can't wait for Ramsey next!

I have read a few books by this author and have read a fair few SEAL books over the years. But this book only gets 3 stars from me. I felt some bits were repeated, and one bit that stuck out was one minute he has put a condom on then a couple of paragraphs later he pulls out a condom out to put it on. A few mix ups with names went from David to Davis and back again.

Harlow is a SEAL and after being in an attack whilst on a mission but because of his injuries Dr Davis was on hand to help him, but at a conference one person was asking too many questions and she didn't care to much for Davis but she liked Harlow (who wouldn't he's a SEAL) anyway Whitney decides to do some investigating but Harlow doesn't want to hear her out because he feels she lied in how far he has come along in his physiotherapy.
What dark secret has Whitney come across and will Harlow and Whitney get a hea even if they just pretend?

The book overall was good the storyline in my opinion needed a few tweaks and some bits could have played out more like maybe throw in extra drama with the ex.

Another hot and sexy Bradford Brothers story that is fantastic! Harlow is a Navy Seal who injured when his helicopter is shot down after a rescue mission. He has to have extensive plastic surgery and rehabilitation. He begins working with Whitney, a physical therapist intern and the chemistry between them is off the charts! They both finally give into the temptation but then begins a wild roller coaster ride of suspense, hot sex, and more. Harlow's doctor, Dr. Davis is keeping secrets and making Whitney question what he's up to. Dr. Davis basically tries to get Whitney to do what he wants concerning Harlow's care and threatens her. So much happens in the story. Grab it now and find out what happens. Will Whitney and Harlow get a happy ever after? Will Dr. Davis get away with whatever he's up to? Hot and steamy bonus books included for your reading pleasure! A great value! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Recomendo!

Recomendo! =)

How things change when you least expect them to. Harlow believes he’s destined to be a bachelor forever, not wanting to take the chance on love, only to “end up like his dad”! But it’s amazing how a certain person can have such an overwhelming effect on just how fast your opinions can change. For some reason, the moment Whitney laid eyes upon Harlow, deep down in her gut, she knew that her life was about to change. She simply didn’t know to what extent, and why! In a dead-end relationship that was going nowhere except to end, fast, she knew it was time she took her life back. All she needed was a subtle push, and it would appear that Harlow was the force behind it. Throw into the mix a greedy doctor with no conscious and a secret agenda, and we’ve got the makings of another awesome read. Looking forward to reading Ramsey’s story now!

He is an injured Navy Seal trying to get released back to active duty. She is his physical therapist. Nothing can happen between them, she could lose her job. Or can she? Is there a loophole?

I loved Harlow and Whitney's characters. Both are strong, believable and very likable characters. Their story is a great one. Instant attraction, humor, drama, jealousy, misunderstanding, some intrigue and hot and steamy parts too! The story was well written, held my interest from start to finish, and was hard to put down at times. Yes, I needed to get some sleep, but just one more chapter won't hurt right?

I would recommend this book to everybody that loves Hot, hunky, Navy Seals and strong female counterparts as well just a really good romance with a HEA.

I liked the plot of this book, but the story was riddled with errors and teenage angst & high school dialogue.

Either there was poor/no editing or the editor was caught up in the story that they didn't register the errors. Normally I can overlook one or two of these, but I found this book to have them in abundance.

Some of the missed edits were:
*Dr. Davis was called Dr. David
*Discrepancies in timeline / history of the characters
*In the intimate scenes they would be in one position then suddenly the writing continues as if they are in another position but there was nothing written to say that.
*So many typos.. i.e. "lose" instead of "loose"

Towards the end (I bailed shortly before the end out of frustration) it was becoming much more frequent.

Wow! Who wet my panties?
This is a book which has steamy hot scenes and lots of chemistry. It is about a sexy seal hero that takes what he wants.
The two main characters Whitney and Harlow are just to fall in love with. They are so well described that you almost feel they are real.
The story is so unique in its form that you just have to read it. It is so well written by Juliana Conners. It has a great storyline and some aspects that we all could learn something of. You do not have to settle within love. Take the best if you can.
There are action, passion, dreams and lots of chemistry and hope in this book.
Absolutely worth reading.

I love reading Juliana Conners books. She puts out great love stories, and this series is great. Following the second Bradford brother. He is injury when his military plane is shot down and requires additional therapy. Lucky he meets a stubborn woman that matches his personality in Whitney. Who just happens to become his physical therapist.
Together they find the kind of love that can overcome obstacles that are thrown at them.
I can't wait to read how the their brother finds his love story. You should read about Jenson story even though they are all standalone books.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed this book by Ms Conners. Harlow and Whitney were one hot pair! This book was well written and I loved the storyline. Harlow who finds out a secret about Whitney is determined to be the man who takes care of her "problem". This was an insta love book. I enjoyed also reading about his brothers. The real brothers as well as the ones he considers brothers in arms because they all look out for one another when in battle. It may have been Just Pretend at the beginning for Harlow and Whitney but it soon becomes very real for them. What a fabulous read with a great HEA.

I got this book in exchange for a voluntary review.. Harlow Bradford, a Navy seal, is badly injured when his helicopter went down in Afghanistan.Dr, Davis, of Davis Technologies takes the credit for the plastic surgery that makes him ok again. Dr. Davis and Harlow are having a clinic which is where Whitney, a physical therapist intern, sees him for the first time. She works at Pinon Physical Therapy on the air force base, were Harlow will be assigned to her. She will decide if he is ready to be returned to active duty. There is something going on with Dr. Davis as far as Harlow is concerned. Will she be fired ? Will Harlow ever get back to his unit ? What is Dr. Davis doing ?
