Gunz Personality: From the beginning of the story he had every female within a 500 mile radius salivating and wishing that he was a real man that she could go and track down, me included!!! Hit whole take charge attitude and unwillingness to accept anything but absolute respect was a turn-on before you were even to delve in past 6 % of the book. When Laci returned home after a long and grueling week and her favorite flowers were sitting on the table in an engraved vase and note from Gunz, I literally swooned (yes, it sounds old fashioned but let me have my moment LOL). But through all of that he was able to grow as an individual when Laci became a part of his life. He never really knew an unconditional love because let’s face it his parents were dysfunctional. Laci brought that sense of normalcy to his life that he had been missing and it made better because of it. To see him grow and become the man that would make any woman proud to have on her arm was a beautiful sight to envision.
Lacianne’s Personality: Lacianne possesses the characteristics that we all wish that we could get back once life begins to jade us. She is innocent, smart, driven, and while she dealt with the dredges of society on a daily basis she didn’t allow herself to see the glass half empty but rather half full. She was willing to sacrifice her own happiness for the chance to rekindle a relationship with her biological mother. People that possess the characteristics that Lacianne embodied are rare and a true gem to find. She was Gunz’ peace after a storm, she was his solace, and his confidant. Anything that he needed to soothe his soul could found in the healing balm of Lacianne’s presence. Now Laci (and yes I am describing the same person with 2 sides of the same coin) was everything that Gunz needed as his Queen to stand strongly by his side. She was the inner grit and strength that she seemingly inherited from her biological parents. She possessed a strength of character that she had no idea was ingrained in her DNA. She was literally born to walk side by side with her King. The fact that she was woman enough to recognize that she had to toughen up to be worthy to walk with her head high beside her king again attest to her strength of character.
Nazi’s Personality: Nazi from day one was like a pit-bull in a skirt. She carried the characteristics that you would find in every younger sister if you look closely at people’s family dynamics. She loved her sister with an unabashed fierceness that no one not even Lacianne could make her falter from. She more so than Laci was able to see their adopted parents for who they really were. She recognized the subtleness of snake that threaded throughout their existence. This is the reason she was unwilling or uncomfortable with allowing them to have complete control over her future. I think out of every one of the females in the story Nazi was my favorite. She was so loyal that the thought of betrayal was never a concept that could enter her psyche. She had a fierceness that even allowed her to take on Jiselle’s psychotic bitter behind.
Jiselle’s Personality: COLD is the only word that can be used to describe this piece of work. Initially I could not stand her but as the book progressed and seeing their familial dynamic I had to change my initial impression of her. I liked the fact that she owned who she was and didn’t care who liked it. She was just authentic to her truth and carried on as if she was just fine regardless of what people thought about her. I really hope to see more of her and see what she evolves into as she continues to grow. I think that Ransom may play a little role in bringing out the inner woman in Jiselle.
Jinx Personality: For the most part Jinx was quiet, not easily swayed and deeply rooted and grounded in the things that he believed in. Even with being raised around violence and being instilled with the doctrine that money, power, and respect was all that they needed to worry about, he still decided to stay in his own lane. This made me admire him all the more and the fact that he and Nazi were able to kindle a romance made him even sweeter in my opinion. The lengths of which he was willing to go to quiet all of her doubts and fears raised him a notch in my opinion
Overall Ms. Kellz Kimberly brought together some very interesting characters and gave us a 5 star read. I am holding out hope that Jinx & Navi and Jiselle & Ransom(?) will have their own stories. I love the way that their parents Stephan and Rose were adult enough to recognize the mistakes that they made as parents while raising them. This is a good solid read. Ms. Kellz did an EXCELLENT job and I can’t wait to see what is up next for this author. Kudos Ms. Kellz!!!!

Great read
This was a great standalone, author did her thing she had a lil bit of it all in here. Since page one I was locked in this book, I love the story line. Real love conquers it all, can be lost for 20 years but by time u die ur soul mate would enter ur life and jus can't fight it. Crazy dey was destine to be together way before they even knew each other that's how u know real love conquers. I was glad that laci got sum balls nd did what she had to do to show them she wasn't to be f'd wit

This book was really good. I loved Laci and Gunz relationships. Laci adoptive parent were crazy and gotten exactly what they deserve. I was happy to see Laci grow up and stop being so naive.

If this was the first book I read by this author I’d never read anything else by her. I can see where she was trying to go but man did she demolish common sense trying miserably to get there. I guess if she would’ve not put in the stuff about the marriage contract…or actually tried to establish some type of relationship with Bryce and Laci or left out all the convoluted crap about BRM and BM…or not made the white characters into black thugs or dropped the stuff at the wedding. I mean a packed room watching bodies drop is no problem even if they are lawyers and mafia right? I can go on but this read just isn’t worth it because it was just that dumb.

"I'm the baddest man alive"!That's all I kept hearing in my head when I read the beginning of this story.I think I have a new leading man and his name is Gunz.This was right out the gate on fire🔥🔥🔥 The gives you a high octane story that never lets off the gas.I love the connection between the the siblings ,and I like that the writer let's you in on exactly what makes the weak and then what makes then strong and how they deal This was just one really fun story and so entertaining.I look for a part two,just because I want the next chapter.

I thought that the story of Gunz and Laci was GREAT I was so disappointed in Laci in the beginning, but as the story unfolded I began to understand her. She was a pawn in the game of power and I thank god for my boy Gunz... VERY GOOD READ

I can honestly say I was waiting for Laci to finally grow a backbone and stop letting people dictate her life. From the beginning Gunz was the type of dude you'd want to punch even though he demanded respect. He was a bit too cocky at times. I loved Nazi and Jinx. They complimented each other so well and I was glad she finally opened up completely. Jiselle was a piece of work and I understood why she acted the way she did. Milani was thirsty much! Brett really irritated me knowing he wasn't built to carry out anything. I kind of figured the suspicions about Shirley and Dennis were correct because the things Laci overlooked Nazi picked up on. It was crazy how much they were willing to go through just for some power. Rose and Stephan seemed like good people and even though it took years, they were trying to get their family on the right track. Laci getting her revenge was the highlight for me because Gunz didn't realize the monster he was on the road to creating. I'm glad things worked out and love was found in the most awkward way. Who would've ever guessed an agreement made years prior would cause those involved to find happiness with each other.

Since reading "Married To The Hustle: A Thug Luv Anthology" I have been semi-stalking each contributing author's pages to see when their full length stand alone novels wouldl be released. I was pleased to see that Gunz & Laci: Black Rose Mafia was available for purchase and immediately began to read it.
This story revolved about a couple who appeared to be from two different backgrounds and most definitely possessed two different personalities, however as the saying goes "Opposites attract". Laci was a very passive lawyer who caught the eye of the very cocky and confident Gunz. As we see their story progress, I was pleased with the drama that unfolded and the additional love story that took place between the siblings of the two main characters: Nazi and Jinx.
I own other novels by this author however this is my first time reading her work. Although this particular story had some grammatical errors, I will be cracking open the rest of her work in the near future as she did a good job holding my attention with Gunz and Laci: Black Rose Mafia.

Its A Good Read . . .
First, now this was a good read but, its been a minute since I read a book and the characters made me want to fight them ! I kept having to put the book down because they was pissing me off ! It got the point where I was just about to stop reading the book period lol . From Laci being so weak and naive to Gunz being to damn disrespectful and controlling for my liking and his sister had me wanting to punch her so bad . Now I understand it was some personal issues they had to overcome but gawd damn, really !?! Overall , it was a different but good book !!

When two different world collide it's going to drama but a match made perfect. Gunz and laci are form different worlds but are connected.laci is all about work but when guns walks into her office has changed her life. Gunz is fool but he wants laci at all cost and when he learns of her family past he protects her.Nazi is a fool one but she loves her sister laci even when she's blind to people using her.a great read hopefully some spinoffs happen kellz.

That damn Gunz with his cocky self I love it! He broke Laci out her shell and that was definitely needed, Her adoptive parents were some grimy ppl...I like Nazi she didn't kiss ass nor take no shit I was glad when she finally tapped Jiselle ass! I like Jinx and he knew how to handle Nazi, I wish that Jiselle and Ransom could've got together... dang I'm mad this was a standalone!

Gunz and Laci
This was a pretty good read. Gunz was a little too cocky for my taste, but overall, I really enjoyed this read. Laci got on my nerves at times and made me want to reach into my kindle and slap her, but I'm glad that she finally got a backbone. She definitely showed growth as the story progressed. I especially liked that it was a standalone. Great job Kellz Kimberly.

Satisfied Reader
This storyline was great. And it kept me interested from beginning to end. I loved Gunz character. He was cocky and didn't take no mess. Laci was just what he needed. Nazi and Jinx are going go be the power couple. They are so right for each other. Jiselle loved her brothers unconditionally she didn't play around. I hated the way Dennis and Shirley tried to get her to marry Bret. But it all worked out and the each of them got what they deserved. Great Job

Soooo Good
I really love Gunz and Laci. Their relationship was not your typical relationship. They brought out the best in each other. I just love the rest of the family Nazi Jinx even Jiselle. I can't wait to read her story about finding a man. Ransom is that dude who is going to tame her.

I really hate when I have to leave a review I have to come up with 20 or more words, like dam maybe I just have one or two. But anyway the book was good, but I was so mad and even screaming when Lacianne was gonna go through with marrying Brett all to please her foster mother. Like how more dum can u be. I love that both guys ended up with the girls and nobody was killed.

But anyway the book was good, but I was so mad and even screaming when Lacianne was gonna go through with marrying Brett all to please her foster mother. Like how more dum can u be. I love that both guys ended up with the girls and nobody was killed.

What a story
This was great and I'm so glad that Lacia didn't marry Britt he and the so called parents were using her,but how could you treat one child good and the other one don't care about.But I'm glad it all worked out and she got her man.

Kells did the damn fool
Everybody wants a happy ending for every book. Well it was happy, sad, and in between. I loved Gunz and Laci relationship. I won't say goals because at first Laci was a little ditsy but everything came together. Sad it was a standalone.

Too much... Must Read
This is considered one of my best books for 2016. Kellz Kimberly has not disappointed yet. This book was toooo good from beginning to end. Guns and laci was just perfect for each other. Thank God no sequel. This is a must read standalone book.

Good Read !!!
This read was real good until the end it was just not how I imagine Gunz in the end all mushy talking about love it made me want to gag . I loved how Lacy got all hard and got her revenge for her parents . This read had a lot of errors .
