Skye was an investigative reporter on a mission to expose a huge conglomerate’s evil deeds, because we all “know” huge conglomerates are the bane to the world’s safety. B3 was going down and Skye’s career was going sky high, until the night she was mugged and through her battered haze she saw a huge bear scare off her attacker, she must have really hit her head hard. When she was semi-coherent, a huge “bear” of a man was above her and he was drop dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also part of B3, but what better way to get her story than straight from the horse’s-er, bear’s mouth?
Marcus has never seen a woman like Skye, everything he wanted, everything he craved, could this b his fated mate? Nice job, Fate, this woman is determined to expose B3 and destroy the safety of millions of bear shifters! He must convince her not to finish her story, while also convincing her that they belong together, and, oh, by the way, I’m a bear.

I really liked this bear shifter book, featuring a lot of romance and a bit of erotica so watch out if you don't like that kind of stuff. I loved how the two MCs were drawn to each other automatically, and loved it when he shifted into a bear to get the mugger early on in the story. Going back and forth between the two MCs viewpoints really helped move the story along.

Secretly Craved has but one redeeming quality: that the heroine has always stood on her own two feet and is determined to continue to do so. She is not impressed by her bear's billionaire status or the associated cars, apartment, whatever. She's proud of the little attic apartment she paid for. I like this for various reasons but the two that stand out are: the pride. I'm not loaded but I pay my way. And the billionaire thing. If romance novels were accurate, every guy you met would be a gorgeous billionaire with a big dick that he knows how to use just right. Hands up if you've found one. No? Anyone? Anyone at all? It portrays women as shallow gold diggers and it pisses me off.
Otherwise, every aspect was bad. The instalove was nauseating and unbelievable in that our determined characters don't try and fight it. Proofreading missed many errors, particularly misgendering. The heroine's attitudes towards food and self consciousness were disturbing - triggering my eating disorder.

Definitely not one of my favorites
I think if I was introduced to this author with this book, it would’ve quickly ended our reader/author “relationship”.
I absolutely adored Marcus, he was perfect; Skye not so much. She was great at the beginning but gave me whiplash in who she was, how she acted after her first night with him. During intimate scenes she was all in, but wanted nothing to do with him immediately after. Huh? So not like the strong character Lily tried to make us believe. At one point, I was hoping Marcus was wrong and would find another. That’s how badly I hated her cruel, two-faced behavior. Making him think one thing and totally rejecting him the next.
Unfortunately I won’t continue on with this series and now I’m having second thoughts about this author. I read her Prince series and her Rockstar series and absolutely loved and recommended them but cannot say the same for this one.
I do not recommend this book. Sorry.

I found this on amazon for free and love shifter novels so I decided to give it a shot. I went with 3 stars because I can't do 2.5 and think it deserves more than a 2 star.
First of all Billionaire Bear Brotherhood sounds ridiculous, they need to stick to B3 and not tell people what it really means. Second of all, the snobbishness of Marcus is why I have a hard time reading romances with Billionaires. It was pretty subtle but it irked me. Yes, sometimes it was played off by saying it was concern for Skye's safety but other times it was not.
The romance and the story were just ok. Nothing in this story makes me want to read more of the series.

I loved the characters. I mean they were fantastic! Strong independent determined Skye, and Marcus strong, determined, emotionally closed off. Their strength of character clashed making sparks fly. Loved it. And I liked the beginning. The only issue I had was that it was to short to do the story full justice. this could have had twists and turns, ups and downs, more getting to know one another. It was short and sweet (with a helping of steamy sex) but I felt the author missed a great opportunity to make an amazing book.

I really enjoyed this book. Both of the main characters were very strong characters which I like, but can sometimes cause problems, but the sexual chemistry between them was to the top of the charts. I really liked the fatherly advice that was given to Marcus, the sexy Alpha Bear shifter billionaire. I received this book for free in return for an honest review, and I recommend it. Great job again, Lily Cahill.

I really enjoyed reading Secretly Craved. This is a story about Marcus and Skye. Marcus is a billionaire bear shifter belong to a group known as B3. Skye is a reporter who is looking into a land being purchased by B3. Marcus is attracted to Skye, however, he doesn't believe in have a fated mate. He changes his mind after a night with Skye. Now he has to convince her to be with him.

Skye Sylvester gets mugged after a night at the local bar with her BFF, and is saved by what she thinks is a bear! Marcus Sinclair is a bear shifter and a member of B3 - the Billionaire Bear Brotherhood. He's attracted to Skye, but since she's a human she can't know what he is. When her job (she's a reporter) leads her to Marcus and a land deal he is trying to close, Marcus tries to disuade her. This was an enjoyable short and sexy story, but the ending is quite abrupt.

Learning What Love Is....
Marcus and Skye were both leary of love due to their past. I understood where both were coming from, she grew up with nothing and noone, while he grew up with money and absent parents. Loved the piece of advice his dad gave him and his actions proved his love. Skyes strong character showed through and Im glad they were able to compromise. Great story!

Wow I didn't see this going the way it did. I'm at a loss for how to even say how awesome this book is. SKYE AND MARCUS WOW WHAT AN UNLIKELY COUPLE !! She finds out by mistake or accident is maybe the correct word that he is a bear shifter , then boom he tells her and his father that she is his fated.. I loved this book so worth reading !

Understanding each other
Marcus & Skye: he lost everything when his mom died cuz his dad got kick out of B3 leaving him all by himself. She was after a story to prove herself and she wasn't going to drop it. Not for any handsome guy. ARC book review I received a free book for my honest review.

From Rags to Riches to Rags, Kinda
Skye was on quite a roller coaster from a small, unsafe apartment to a wealthy taste of luxury in Marcus’ abode, which freaked her out to return to her poor hovel, all in the name of her fierce independence. Marcus realized that love was more valuable than control over Skye’s wishes and a happy ending was had by all.

Short and sweet
Love the shifter books. This one did not disappoint! The characters were easy to like. I needed a short story & lifted up just a bit. Female lead was very strong. A good emotional story.

Skye is an investigative reporter after the story that is sure to give be her big break. She is following a tip on an unknown entity, B3 buying up prime land outside of Chicago with the rumored intention of fracking. Once she meets with her lead source, billionaire Marcus Sinclair she discovers the true story is much more sensational - billionaire bear shifters. However, Marcus insists she can't write the story due to the damage it would cause. He also insists he's her mate.
This could have been so good. The premise is strong with a billionaire and a foster child who has pulled herself up to be a success. There's so much to work with even before you add in a secret society of billionaire bear shifters. But the story is shallow and the relationship is underdeveloped. Neither main character has layers and neither is particularly likable with Marcus being condescending and Skye being abrasive.
