I received this for a honest review. I have read several of Ana Fawkes books. I think it is great that she brought out Before the Patch. It helps give you more of an understanding of Layne and Talon.
Book 1:
The Devil Call MC is in trouble. The President Nash is rubbing elbows with the enemy and allowing drugs in the Club house. Nash cannot control his is no longer thinking clearly and cannot even control his old lady.
Rissa has seemed to take a liking to Layne. Layne has watched what it is like for Nash and Jasmine and knows all the trouble a relationship can cause for someone with a patch, Layne is the only Rissa will play with, she caves him like a drug.
Talon seems to be getting close to a girl called Lexa. Though Talon says he does not do relationships you have to wonder if that is true. Lexa seems to be stealing a little piece of his heart. Talon wants desperately to have the presidents patch. He knows things need to change. Leadership needs to shift. The question is does Talon have what it takes to get the Prez’s patch.
In this book you will see that Talon is realizing he is being followed and is in trouble. Will anyone have his back when things hit the fan?
Book 2:
The entire MC is crumbling. There are some important decisions that need to be made. War is close and someone needs to take a stand. Will Layne be able to talk Talon into stepping up? How many of the MC will stand behind Talon if he does?
Talon has been kidnapped. He is learning how far down the Club has sunk. Nash thinks the club and the MC is his. It is no longer about the patch member. Nash is stooping to a new low. Talon will have to do something he never thought he would do.
Rissa seems to be playing mind games. She wants to have a little fun with Talon. Will this come between Layne and Talon?
Lexa and Talon are still really close. Since things are getting bad Talon will have to make some decisions on how to keep Lexa safe. I actually like Lexa in this book. She does not seem one that plays games.
Book 3:
I think if I could of named this one I would of named it final show down. Things at the MC come to a head. The members are going to have to decide who’s side they are truly on. Will Nash step down willingly?
This was a very touching book. My heart broke for Talon. What he has to face it hard. He is truly lucky to have a friend like Layne to stand by him. Layne and Talon will probably face more in this book then they every had to face in the other 2 previous books.

I had to remember that this is before what I know with Layne and Talon so what you know but at the back of you mind and read the real hell these two have dealt with before taking over and cleaning up their club and lives.
Book #1-No love story but we get to see the closeness of Layne and Talon brotherhood. We also get to see the relationship of Layne and Rissa starting and Talon and Lexa. Most importantly the mess at the clubhouse with its messed up president and VP, with the drugs the working with the enemy. Both Layne and Talon will have to fight their tempers to figure out what to do next.
Book #2- Time to take back what it means to be a real MC. With Nash in charge high as a kite and turing the club inside out with kidnapping a patched in member, killing the prospects and finding ways to kill Talon. It. Is. Time. The women that Talon and Layne are so opposites but that won't stop Talon doing both Lexa and Rissa, now Layne is seeing a stripper that he can't stop thinking about. It's a bit confusing for me since I still think of Talon with Everly but I know this is way before she shows up but it's still there and also the same thinking with Shelby for Layne, but I'm trying to block their current story lines. Anyways this is both their p.o.v. and will keep you guessing.
Book #3- Great ending for the clubhouse of the old reign, ending of double crossers, and the new beginning for the new reign of the Devils Call MC with Talon as president and be brother Layne as VP. Talon did loose someone that he held dear but he know he couldn't have attachments without them in danger. I now know more about the history of Talon and Layne dealt with to overturn Nash and the carp he brought into their town. I can't wait to see what is next for these two in more of Layne's stories and maybe more from Talon at a certain point in the future.

If you are a fan of bikers and love to read about MC books then this collection is a must! I received this book free in exchange for an honest review but also bought it for my kindle. Ana Fawkes does it again, she doesn't disappoint with the stories.This is where we see the dynamics, the drama, the dangers around the biker club life and fall in love with all the characters. Layne and Talon grew up together, they are like brothers. Talon sees Everly when he gets out of jail and he wants her. If you ever wondered how Talon became the President of the MC, well this book has the answer to that and many other questions. If I could give it more then five stars, I would! GO BUY IT!!! IT'S WORTH IT!!!

I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.
I have to say that this was an awesome bundle but i had trouble getting on with who was who.
Leaving that out after a few pages i could totally follow up the story and was amazed by the complexity of the characters and the twists and turns of the story.
We have a 3 book bundle were in the first book we get to see the connection and the relationship between Talon and Layne.
Book two is more of all things starting to go side ways and it contains some love story
and book 3 is the final stand.
I have to say that i loved the fact how this books were not centered on the love story and yet managed to contain a love story with the unique way it could.
I loved it and i loved those boys!
Action packed that had me turning the pages to see what in the heck was going to happen next this is a must MC bundle!!!!!

It is great when an author rewards loyal fans with more material on their favorite characters. In this collection, we get three stories that provide a lot of background on Layne and Talon.
We see the club deteriorate into a nightmare situations, we see just how strong their relationship is and we learn about some of the women that mattered to them in the past. It definitely give you a lot of insight into the characters.
I really enjoyed the stories though it was a little difficult to see them with other women. The author has really created memorable characters that are dangerous but also have heart.
I received a copy in return for a honest review.

This book was great. I have loved the Devil Call MC from the very beginning. This story had me totally wondering what was gonna happen next. I love the boys of this MC. It was a great story that was easy to follow and understand. I always wondered how Talon became the President of the MC and this book tells the story. Excellent writing and storyline as always. If you love the boys of the Devil Call MC you need to grab this book. Soon!

GREAT ADDITION TO SERIES
Fantastic addition to the Devil Call MC series. It gives us the back story of how Talon got the President's Patch with Layne as his VP. I couldn't put it down. I loved every book in this series, and this trilogy just made it better. It made me want to go back and read all of the books again. If you love MC books, I highly recommend these books. This is a really good story and lets you know what happened earlier. I enjoy reading all her books as I know they are all good. It keeps your attention. I recommend this one. Can't wait for the next one. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
