I’m glad I read this book. It made me laugh and it made me cry. It also helped me see myself in a whole new light. I’m going with how Jesus sees me going forward. As an introvert, people often comment on how quiet I am. I understand why I don’t talk so much now. I wish I would have read this book as soon as it arrived on my doorstep!

A partly autobiographical account of how one man dealt with a life of overcoming shame due to his family situation, his schooling, and his relationships with people. His message is that God can set us free from the burdens of Shane that we carry.

This is one of the most down-to-earth and relatable books I've read on the topic of shame. And I've read many other popular authors who write on that topic.
