Garth is intent on filling the hours aboard the fourth deep space mission with pleasure, in the form of his curvy human female, Tamzin. With his prime upon him, he knows he as to breed a son with Tamzin soon. So what better way to pass the time? Yet soon he learns another side of himself, a softer side, and he begins to feel less like a primal hunter, as his love for his female grows.
Tamzin has had a tough life on Earth, and is relieved when she wins the lottery, and is given to Garth, although the shock of being told they are only stopping on Karal for two days, before going into deep space, is not welcome. But she sees it as her duty to help find a new home for the human race.
Their journey takes them to a new world, a perfect world, but the world hides a secret, which means it will not be suitable for humans to colonize. Disappointed, they leave the planet, only to receive a distress call from another Karalian cruiser. When they go to investigate, they discover that the Karal are no longer the hunter, but the hunted.
Can they outsmart the slavers and return to Karal? And when they do, will the Karal close their defences, or stand up and fight?
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
Funny how the h in this book talks about lack of uniqueness in the Karals and they all look the same yet this is the 9th book in the Karal world and there has been zero diversity amongst the female leads. Not that we get much description about their looks but they are all described with pale skin (not only from lack of sun and proper nutrients). Are there no POC left on earth? Some variety and diversity is something I enjoy and look forward to with the female leads in series especially one with 10 books however these have all been interchangeable just like Tamzin pointed out about the Karal. I've only continued reading hoping for some variety and wanting to know how it all turns out and the fate of Earth.
I haven't rated each book, but I should have. I enjoyed these characters a lot. I like that the species are so similar, yet so different. The karalians are definitely more similar as a general description than the humans are. They do have different personalities, just less distinct than the humans. I did notice a plot hole that is driving me crazy so I am going to go back and reread before I report it in case I just missed something or remembered it wrong. All in all though I still am happy to read this book and the sad part is that I could see this being life one day.
Enemy tries to lure our searchers into a trap.....
While Karalian space warrior, Garth and his Earth lottery winner mate, Tamzin are searching for a new planet for the humans to colonize, they find a possible planet only it is already populated so has to be dismissed.. On the way back to Karal they receive a distress beacon supposedly from another Karalian mission that is in danger or is it an enemy?
Another dramatic ,thrilling adventure into the stars. The Karal Warriors continue to survive and bring women who have entered the lottery as mates for the warriors by being matched by genetic science. The face many trials trying to make a life for the new women and warriors together while they try to find a suitable planet for the humans of the dying planet earth.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all of these stories and only one left. 📖🎆📖 I hope that the last story is as good as the other ones! This one had a bit of a twist to it but still really good.
Hunted (Warriors of Karal Book 4) by Harmony Raines. Tamzin enters the lottery and is pared with Garth. They set off on a deep space mission. On their return journey they are lured into a trap.
Harmony Raines is my favorite Author for a reason. That is because she can take a specific group and make more than one series out of it successfully. Such as the aliens from Karal. She is now getting close to finishing up her second series with the aliens from Karal. "Hunted" is the fourth book in this series and it is AWESOME. You get to follow this fourth expedition into deep space with a warrior and his new found mate from Earth on the search for a new home for the people of Earth since the planet is dying out. There are so many feelings that can felt in this book and they are loneliness, hunger, compassion, love, and lust. You want to jump in the book and make everything okay. I highly recommend this boo to mature readers over the age of 18.
Garth is the fourth Karalian Warrior getting ready to go to Earth and get his mate from the planet Earth. He has decided that many hours of sex with he curvy Tamzin is a very good way to spend their time while in Deep space He is reaching his prime and he knows that soon he will not be able to produce a son if he doesn't impregnate her before he reaches it. After departing for deep space he realizes he is falling in love with her and thinks his reactions are somewhat barbaric.
After lving a tough life on Earth and have to take care of mama a watching die a hard death. She is excited to find out that she has won the lottery and is going to live on Karal and get to see trees and not to mention that she won't have to breath in all that sand anymore. At first she is scared of Garth but she soon wins him over and begins to fall for him. However, she is disappointed to find out that they are only stopping on Karal for two days, before going into deep space. She sees it as her duty to help find a new home for the human race and the friends she behind on a dying Earth.
Their journey takes them to a new planet that could work for the human race, but it holds a secret, which means it will not be suitable for humans to colonize. Tamzin is disappointed but understands why the planet is left alone. Once they leave the planet Garth receives a distress call from another Karalian cruiser. he explains to Tamzin that it is his duty to investigate, but as they reach the destination of the distress call they discover that the Karal are no longer the hunter, but the hunted.
Can they outsmart the slavers and return to Karal without endangering themselves and Karal? And when they return to Karal with the news will Karal close their defenses, or stand up and fight? .
No spoilers. A must read! ARC free book given for an honest review.
Title: Hunted Series: Warriors of Karal BBW Alien Romance Destination: Book 4, Author: Harmony Raines Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Genre: #SciFi #Aliens #Colonization My Score: 4 Stars ☆☆☆☆
■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■ Well I came in the middle of the series with book 4 I have not read one, two or three which is something I don't do normally but being new to this Author our commication is off, from what I understand it's okay read 1st. But hey everyone wants to win the Lottery right. Tamzin keeps having cough spasms she knew she's going to die here on Earth, it is so polluted with acid rain and the dust clouds you can't breathe. She wasn't going to win the lottery people that lived in the desert sand like her trying to make some money and they really didn't they had no food to eat. Then a spaceship came looking for her, she won she was getting off earth and going to the Planet Karal somewhere nice to breath. Yep it was a hardship all she had to do is have sex and breed. Garth is a Karalians he was excited he was going to get his lottery winner. She was his match, so now that he is in his prime he could starting breeding. He took one look at his lottery winner he knew he had to protect her and breed immediately yep they were going on a mission in deep space and boy did he have plans. I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.
First of all, these books all end too fast in my opinion. I think the author has so much potential with these books, sci fi-wise, because of the whole Earth-is-dying-concept. It's a shame it doesn't get even more pages, because after our Heroine gets to go off with the Hero to Karal is usually baby and HEA straight away (after the usual 3 hiccups along the way).
In this book?
Desert storm! REAL acid rain! Wormhole tech! Spaceship in peril! Pregnancy on board a spaceship!
And why - oh why - didn't the author think of including a (steamy sex?)scene with the ship not having 100% gravitation, instead of just writing about our poor Heroine's morning sickness. (Feel for you girl - that stuff is awful!)
Not sure if this is the last book in the series or if it's just the last for now. I did enjoy this, and the rest of them, but the author really got to me with the painting of the Earth that she did. My friends joke about me being a tree-hugging hippie but after reading this and looking at our Earth, I just wonder what more I can do.
This author knows how to weave her magic when writing her series about the Karal aliens? I was hooked from the very book; I read. The characters were awesome with enough feeling, passion, and love for their human mates. Wonderful series and waiting anxiously for the last book!
This is a great series of books. Stories are well written and consistent in their storylines. The characters are all likable and realistic. The story is also realistic and not too far-fetched in that it shows a possible future for Earth that could be a result of climate change we see now. I would recommend this series .
As always, I adore the Warriors of Karal series and again I fell in love with these characters. I enjoy the pace in which the story flows and how the relationship developed without being fast paced. This series just keeps improving and I am inpatient for the next book already. love it.
I've enjoyed all the books in this series. Each couple has had their own obstacles to overcome as well as the situations they encounter on their missions to find a planet that the people of earth can move to and survive. Can't wait for the next book to come out.
I guess now the heat is on. I hope they just take care of the space pirates once and for all. I love reading about the different colors swirling under their skin, when their emotions change. Definitely have to read the next book, am anxious to see what the outcome will be.
Tasmin was a good character i liked her in the respect there was no real thought of backing out she embraced her new life. Garth was another good character. I cant wait for book 5
Tamzin is a human working in the desert on Earth. She has entered the Lottery. On Lottery day her and 19 others are stuck out in the desert when it starts raining the acid rain. Garth is the Warrior that matches up with Tamzin. He bring the ship in and waits for her to show up. She doesn't. So he takes the ship to search for her. He ends up rescuing them. So when he's finally on the way back home to Karal with Tamlin he sees that she is sick. So when they get to the space station he cures her in the decontamination unit. Then in 2 days they go to outer space looking for a replacement planet for earth. They encounter those slavers the Hrokili. This series is just getting better. The sex is loving in that 2 species getting to know one another. I can't wait to read this next book in this series.
