ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review

This second installment is set at a much faster pace with the unraveling of chemistry between the two characters. Was very easy to get absorbed in and the author did a great job of building the heat! However, after two installments, I admit to having a bit of a difficult time understanding the heroine - she's accepting of poor treatment by her boyfriend and seems somewhat passive and naïve, but with Charles she shows signs of independence, stubbornness, and sassiness. I'm not sure what is her true character yet but do look forward to reading more to find out.

Still not sure about the rhyme or reason behind the installments, almost like at each climatic moment one ends. In other series there have been themes or more purposeful reasons for segmenting the story - not sure I am getting enough meat in each of the books as they are divided now to understand the strategy behind not grouping them together more and consolidating into fewer books. Impatient already for the next one!

Wow, the story gets better and better!!!! Lots of twists, lots of changes and a sweet cliffhanger that is making me go out of my mind..... I need, really need to know what happens next!!!!! Still well written and still very well planned, the story line gets more and more interesting and is narrowing into a linear shape!!! The talent of the author is still very obvious as you feel every flutter of emotions from the characters as if you were there with them!!!! Still amazing and still addictive, i loved this one as much as i loved the first one!!!! So once again: Two Thumbs Up High In The Air With Blazing Lighters On!!!!!!!

This is #2 in the Magister Series. Now you don't want to read this book until you have read #1 in this series. This way you will understand the characters and events leading up to this book. With each page I read I am pulled further into the story of Sandra and Charles. There were some points in this book that tugged on my emotions. The way July Hall writes with both main characters POV's flow seamlessly. I find myself not being able to put my kindle down, almost like I will miss something if I do. I can not wait to read #3. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Another 5 amazing stars! I loved this book!!!! I don't think I can wait till April 8 for part 3. You get just enough to keep you wanting more. Loved the end.
