A history of this spread, which is really what brought me to the book. I'm a sucker for that Victorian occult history. The trail goes cold fairly quickly, but it's interesting that the very first published versions of this spread have remained nearly unchanged since then.

But the tips on how to read this spread are the gold nugget. By delving deeply into this single spread, I've learned more about reading than any little white book, or even beginners 'let's memorize these cards' books, could teach me.

Rich, fascinating, fulfilling

I bought this book expecting a short read on the spread's history and probably some additional insights but I ended up with a new perspective on this spread plus tons of new knowledge especially the NLP addition into tarot reading. This author never fails to deliver.

Absolute surprise

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed and took from this book. Some lovely hints and tips and his method of reading the cc really works for me. The only parts that made me cringe was the use of the word 'trick' for some of the methods described.

I really enjoyed how this book explained how to give a more complete overall outcome reading rather than focusing on each card I'm order. I believe the cards connect to our cosmic energies and reading this way is perfect
