About the author

Kindra Sowder was born and raised in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA until the age of 12, when her family moved to Spartanburg, SC. She graduated from high school in 2006 with full honors and as a member of her high school Literary Club and the Spanish Honor Society. In January 2014, she graduated with her second degree in Criminal NeuroPsychology. She married her husband Edd Sowder in May 2014 and still lives in Spartanburg, SC where their company Burning Willow Press is based. She is the author of the Miss Hyde Novellas that are coming to television, and the ground-breaking series The Permutation Archives. She has earned a number of award nominations and wins for her literary works. She is currently penning more works and is earning her Masters Degree in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in Fiction from South New Hampshire University. As of 2018, she is undergoing treatment for Behcet's Disease. She hopes to become an advocate, and a voice for others with this rare condition.

Blythe lives ...
Sowder rocks us with another Ms. Hyde read. For this bloody, psychological roller coaster, her fans are grateful. Unable to put this third book in the series down, I find myself eager and hungry for the next installment, wondering what Sowder's twisted pen has for us next. If you haven't read this series, it's time to get caught up!

This the third instalment in the Miss Hyde Series, Big Bad Wolf, and it is ever so good. Blythe has survived her recent abduction from Kyle with Hyde's help. She is still trying to figure out where this new artist Cyra will take place in her life as well, since she seems to be painting all about Hyde and what she does.
Kyle wasn't working alone when she was taken and she is soon to be bound and determined to figure it all out. She is thrust into being the victim for once by Kyle's co-conspirators to be tortured, beaten, drugged, and Hyde is nowhere to be found to help her. Can she push through the drugs they're giving her to find her inner beast to get herself out of this? Or will she become the next victim in the serial killer stalking the streets?
Blythe learns more about herself , more about what she and Hyde truly are in this book. It is a gut wrenching story that has you cheering on Hyde to come in and finish these kidnappers off. But where does that leave her after? Who was truly behind it all? You will be bound to this book till the end, so hard to put down!
I give this novella a 5 star rating and would totally give it more if I was allowed too because this author has knocked it out again. I am so looking forward to seeing what Blythe has to deal with next.

In “Big Bad Wolf” author Kindra Sowder takes us through the aftermath of the torture Blythe/Miss Hyde suffered at the hands of Kyle and the Bartender from The Marquee (the bar that she frequently picks up her male sexual conquests/victims) in A Miss Hyde Novella Volume 2, “Pain Killer”.

We still have a mystery to solve – Who is the artist Cyra? Why does she so vividly paint Miss Hyde in all of her bloody gory glory? Is Cyra working with Kyle and the Bartender? Is there some other person pulling the strings from behind the curtain?

This book takes you, Darling Reader on a roller-coaster-ride with twists and turns you will not see coming!

Once again, Ms. Sowder has provided a truly exceptional story, peopled with intriguing characters, blood, horror, gore, as well as suspenseful mystery.

I NEVER provide spoilers in my reviews as I do not want to EVER ruin the story for YOU, Beautiful Bookworm.

Big Bad Wolf by Kindra Sowder is the third incredible part to a stunning series. Once again, readers met with the bone chilling yet gorgeous man killer. She sells artwork, by day, and lures men to her bed by night. Using sex as a way to lure men to their final death. Blythe doesn't just murder them but rip their bodies into bloody parts. Her inner dark side, Miss Hyde. Appearances are definitely deceiving. Just like the two before this one, the plot is full of action, murder, and dark events to come. Blythe will finally get a taste in what she does to men...however, it might just be the last thing she ever experiences. Then, there's her friend who is more than beats the eye. Also, there's more mystery added in this part than the previous books. A man who seems to be a boss that hires Blythe's female friend and wants her alive...who and why...and more importantly what happens next is something I highly recommend readers to read. Kindra Sowder is a talented writer. Her words on every page are powerful enough to suck readers into her fictional world and to leave them forever in suspense. Big Bad Wolf is dark, murderous, and intense. Absolutely, a must read for all.

I didn't think it was possible but Blythe's story gets even twistier and more tortured. After reading the third installment of the Miss Hyde novellas, I am both horrified and interested in seeing how Blythe's story turns out. Though I found the story engrossing, I did have a difficult time reading through some of the scenes in this novella. They are troubling and not a read everyone can handle. It made me very uncomfortable. I am glad I could get past them and keep reading. This story gets more interesting with every novella. I am hoping that the fourth installment in this series will keep up the intrigue but lose some of the more extreme torture from the last book.

Blythe has been trying to keep Miss Hyde down but now needs her more than ever. She has been kidnapped by men who have been killing other women after torturing and raping them. Will Blythe be able to bring Miss Hyde to the surface and how do these men know so much about her curse.
This series keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next twist. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys the horror genre.
