This book was amazing! I'm not sure what I expected, but the description of this book does not do it justice, so let me help with that real quick...
Jordan is a down her luck guitarist. She's moved to LA like so many people hoping to make it big in the music scene, but despite her talent, she's finding it hard to get "in". She reluctantly sends out resumes so she can pay her bills. She gets an interview to be a tour guide at a museum, much to her excitement. Jordan loves history and visiting museums, and luckily for her she gets the job. Her boss knows she's a struggling musician, and through his own love of music, takes pity on her, and offers her extra hours on the janitorial side as well, so she can have full-time hours and benefits. Jordan now has a steady flow of income and the ability to still make auditions. Even though the work is hard, she's grateful, and it's not anything she hasn't done before. She had no idea that one night will cleaning after hours, her life would change forever....
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jordan gets taken hostage by two of the hottest guys she has ever seen--Felix and his brother Francoise. They are unbelievably kind, and not like anything she would have expected from a set of renowned art thieves. They do everything in their power to reassure her they will not harm or touch her, and promise to release her as soon as they can, since they hadn't planned on taking her prisoner. Only after a few days, she realizes she is becomingly increasingly attracted to both brothers. She's never had that happen and now isn't sure what to think--especially since their her kidnappers! As far as Felix and Francoise are concerned, these hot gypsy thieves are becoming loose in the tongue about themselves, and unable to hide their attraction for the beautiful, if slightly naive, Jordan. Being stuck in a cabin in the woods, what better opportunity could they possibly have?
There isn't anything I didn't like about this book. I was so grateful all three "books" were in one volume, since I spent a majority of my day reading it. The way the characters interact in the beginning reels you in, wanting the "bad guys" to get the girl. The chemistry between Jordan and each brother is different, but no less intense and hot. Add to that the heightened suspense, the rivalry between the brothers, and the emotional roller coaster of some parts, and this is probably one of my favorite reads from Lauren. Many parts had me on the edge of my seat and so happy that I have my own HEA. Read and you'll see what I mean!
