Well, I am givng this four stars even though I wrote it. It was published in 1995 and was a labor of love. It has lots of information in it, but I feel its age makes it a little outdated in some of its visuals. I have just written my 2nd design book, Adventures in Design, which I absolutely love. So, if I were to read a design book now, my choice would be my newest book rather than The Visual Dance.

This book has been rewritten by the author as Adventures in Design in 2011, which has great illustrations that the older 1995 copy lacks.
