4.5 stars!! When I first started this book I wasn't too sure if I'd like it. The writing seemed a bit juvenile. Then as it went on it got better and better. I looked and realized this had been the author's debut novel. I really loved Kat and Caleb both along with their tight knit group of friends that blended together seamlessly. I'm really looking forward to Aly and Bentley's story. I'm hoping she drops Mike quickly. The only ow drama is a total misunderstanding but it does cause some problems for the couple. There is also om drama in the form of Kat's ex that doesn't want to give up. This doesn't cause trouble between them except for his part in the ow drama. Kat is 100% over him.

October 28, 2021Could not get into the immature writing. Heroine annoyed me and Hero is a manwhore, only does one night stands he's a "tag em and bag em" kind of guy. He says he's not a manwhore because he "doesn't fuck ALL the women"....I got some truth for you buddy, you are a dirty manwhore. Not to mention after sleeping with the heroine he likes to go out and flirt and checks out OWs...but still has the h on his mind. I need an alpha possessive hero!

I really enjoyed Kat and Caleb's story. Both find something they didn't know they were looking for. I really enjoyed watching Kat grow into a stronger woman. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star read for me was because I struggled with the dialogue, especially between Kat and her friends - it felt very juvenile. This is a great group of friends and a wonderful beginning to a series.

Finding a gem.....
I say that because I wasn't expecting to love this book as much as I did. This storyline just flowed, loved the characters and circumstances, and hot AF sex scenes. This book was really well written and I think a lot of women can relate to the insecurities that Katerina fees and goes through, makes it real. And I want a sexy Caleb of my own.
Seriously this book was a gem of a read so check it out. Cannot wait to read book two.

Finding Home - what a sweet read!
I'm not a huge fan of the lovey dovey, don't get me wrong, I like romance and I love the idea of love but too much mushy really grates me. I find it unbelievable if you will, but then I guess that's the whole book world in general really, to make the unimaginable, imaginable.
Anyway I was really expecting a mush read to be fair (Finding Home brought to mind all these lovey dovey images for some reason) and in reality I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't the case. I mean yes it was sweet in some places and you have the affection but it wasn't over-the-top.
I'd definitely read more by this author and I think there are more books in this particular series.
The only real criticism that I have is that for me personally, I'd have liked to have seen a little more tension and angst. To me, Caleb was more beta than alpha but that's not a bad thing. I just would have liked a little more...oomph from him.
Overall though definitely worth a read for fans of contemporary romance.

I Loved this book, Katerina and Caleb will put many smiles on your face, swoons in your heart and if you're like me then a few lines that will make you think of your own past.
I literally hated putting this book down and only did so for maybe 10 minutes at a time. It kept me on the edge of my seat in places and I felt that lovely confusion you get from a good book, I couldn't put it down but I didn't want it to end either.
There is a great flow to the writing and I now cannot wait for finding peace.

Finding Home by Becca Taylor a fab five-star read. I am reading the series out of order as I started with book four and loved it so much that I am going back to read the authors debut novel the first in the series, and I am so happy I did this is great, you can see where she has learnt her craft and developed her skills, but they have been there all along. We meet the gang in this story and we focus on Katerina Sisti and Caleb Hayes and their story, they go on a journey and Kat discovers herself and gets some fun in her life. You all know we need some fun in our lives don’t we, so she definitely deserves it. But will she get too much fun? Pushing her over the edge and if she falls will Caleb be the one to save her?
This is looking to be a great series, filled with romance and passion and enough heart to keep you hooked.

I really enjoyed this story.
The hook up between Kat and Caleb was great. And then how they both wished it was more than a one night stand, but with no means of contact, fate smiled on them and took a hand!
I loved Kat and Caleb and thought they worked well together all through the story. The secondary characters were very enjoyable too.

This is the first book I've read by this Author, but I was drawn in by the cover. The story between Caleb and Kat is a whirlwind romance, hot, and not straight forward due to Kat's ex.
If you like a straight talking contemporary romance then this is for you. It was a little long and drawn out at bits, but it didn't take anything from the story.

The description of this book really drew me in. I love when characters that have been in long relationships move on with their life and try to experience everything they can, but they also have fun doing it.
Caleb was an only one night man but Kat opened his eyes. I like how he staked his claim on her and didn't want to give her up.
Kat was sweet and I liked seeing her do things that she wanted to do, and not do them because they are what others wanted. She is very independent.
The plot was fun. A little predictable for my taste but it was still enjoyable. Seeing Caleb and Kat get together and date was fun. All the secondary characters were fun too. This book is pretty light on the drama. The main thing was a Ex that didn't want to let go.
My main issue with this book was the dialogue. It seemed very forced. I'm. It sure how to explain it better then that. Also, I didn't feel that there was enough characters development happening with Caleb and Kat, so it made it hard for me to really connect with them, even when it was their POV. Also, They both said only one night, because the hero does not do repeats, (that's cool) but they run into each other a month later, and now they are magically. There's no indicator of his change of heart or her change of heart, just bam they are together. I wanted to see the internal struggle more or coming to the realization that they should be together.
Overall, I really wanted to love the book, the plot was interesting but with what I stated above, the things that I've struggled with it made it very hard. I would be willing to read the other books in the series in hopes that they are better. I did like the secondary characters and would love to see them get their happy endings. 3 stars #2OCCJD

Hot hot..holy hell Hot!!!
Finding Home had me within the first couple of pages. Steamy hot men and girls just wanna have fun! Oh yeah, and hot sex!! Lots of hot sex!!
Katerina - Love her adventure list. Love how she moves on and for the better. Kat learned to love herself after so many put downs in her life. Kat pulled at my heart and makes me want to go and make changes like her! Kat has awesome girlfriends and come to have even better new friends, all by going out and living her life after the douche.
Caleb - One time is all you get. Don't know how one girl could just have him for one night and not want more. Damn! This boy has it all.
Half way through the book... Bam, a turn. You figured it was coming but hoped it wouldn't. You hoped that Kat would see straight. You pull for them both, nail biting and waiting for the next chapter.
Finding Home kept my interest and had me hanging from chapter to chapter! Hot, steamy scenes. Love and caring friends. Twist and turn brings it all together.
Highly recommend this book and can't wait to see the next one!! Keep them coming Becca Taylor!!!

I enjoyed this book. I started it several days before I finished it but put it down because I had too many open books but I'm glad I came back to it. It's the story of Katerina (Kat), a young woman who is in a bad relationship. She's beaten down emotionally and has very low self-esteem. She meets Caleb and he helps her see her self-worth. It's a light, fun and very hot story with young adults finding their way in life. I look forward to reading more of Becca Taylor's work.

This is a great 20 something read. It has lots of great times with some twists. The writing is fresh and current. The characters are all great looking and get along. I got this as an arc for an honest review. When it comes out make sure you buy it if your looking for a good read with today's current social standings.

This is my first journey through the words of Becca Taylor. Finding Home is a romantic *sigh worthy* read! The main and sub characters are developed with a deep connection. The story is charming, sweet, and has some incredibly HOT sexiness!! I'm eager to read book two; Finding Peace...as this read also drew me towards the sub characters of Aly and Bentley. I can't wait to see how their story plays out!

Finding Home, the first book in the Breaking Free series by Becca Taylor is extraordinary. I needed a fun, giddy, full of hot sex scenes kind of read and that's exactly what I got.
Kat, newly single needs to find herself and have some fun while dong so!! She has wonderful friends and with their help she gains control over her life. When she finds a hot, sexy one night stand Caleb, she throws caution to the wind and goes all in. After a steamy night spent with Caleb she never thought she would see him again, but when she does see him by chance they pick up right where they left off. Things ignite between them and they go with it, living in the deliciousness of each other. A few bumps
along the way in the form of an ex boyfriend named Travis still cannot put out the flames that is Kat and Caleb.
I would definitely recommend this book and would absolutely read more from this series and this wonderful Author.

Kat was in a relationship where her ex did nothing but put her down and when he leaves she decides that she wants the old her back, first on her list is to have a one-night stand. While out with friends she meets Caleb and nearly orgasms from the sight of him. Caleb makes sure that Kat knows that it’s only one night and they don’t have any regrets in the morning.
What both Caleb and Kat weren’t expecting was the feeling they had for each other after that one night. When they see each other again they can’t fight the attraction and end up giving Caleb’s friends a show of how hot their chemistry is.
The two have an amazing journey working through Kat’s past issues and a crazy ex, with both having to come to the realisation that although they both don’t want a relationship, they can’t deny what they feel for each other.

Sometimes our past can wiggle it's way into our current and destroy our future. When Kat's past rears up it's ugly head tormenting her and reminding her of all her childhood insecurities it's going to take some real work to stop it. Caleb has a past but not one that colors his actions he just never thought one woman could do it for him. When they meet for a one time thing they both are so sure that's all it will be. Best laid plans and all that. This author does a wonderful job of feeding us the story giving us the background and introducing us to the characters we grow to love. This is a standalone but the characters cross over. This story of love growing, overcoming insecurities and letting go is heartwarming and steamy good at the same time. Great read,

What a sweet, loving, romanctic story! It is full of sexy moments (that will have you wanting more) with a little drama and heartache thrown in to the mix to keep you on your toes. From page one I was hooked.

I really enjoyed this book even though I'm not a fan of the perspectives usually, I do like to take a book as it comes. You know you enjoyed a book when you want to follow the characters home and see how they're doing now. Caleb is a nice guy, even if he has been around the block so to speak, and the patience and kindness he shows to Katrina are palpable. She's had a tough time and it's always hard to move on from a long term relationship and find yourself again. I could relate to some of how she felt with Travis. We all seem to meet people like that in our lives. You think you're over it and then you feel your insecurities creeping back because of what some jerk put you through. Caleb was willing to work with it and be there. I feel like they really did find home with each other.

Kat and Caleb. Kat has recently broken up with her ex and she feels better all ready. They were together a long time but now it is done. She needs to find herself again. Her friend, Aly, wants to go out and celebrate. They go to this bar and dance and drink the night away. She meets a great guy and spends the night. Thinking this is a one night thing she is ok with it. Later on she goes to a nearby food place and guess who she sees? None other than her one nighter. His name is Caleb and it is great between them. But is it going too fast? Caleb is not really into relationships but this feels different. Is it too soon for Kat? Guess we will find out. Oh, did I tell you they are both sexy and love sex too? OH,BOY!!!!

A soft, sexy, sweet, sassy romance from Becca Taylor! Finding Home is downright beautiful. The story felt fresh and filled me with happiness while giving my emotions plenty of room to jump all around.
Becca Taylor is a "new to me" author and I couldn't be more pleased with the first book in her Breaking Free series. Its super sexy, super sweet, and definitely has chemistry that was OFF THE CHARTS delicious! The plot is a romance readers wet dream and I certainly enjoyed every turn of the page.

A soft, sexy, sweet, sassy romance from Becca Taylor! Finding Home is downright beautiful. The story felt fresh and filled me with happiness while giving my emotions plenty of room to jump all around.
Becca Taylor is a "new to me" author and I couldn't be more pleased with the first book in her Breaking Free series. Its super sexy, super sweet, and definitely has chemistry that was OFF THE CHARTS delicious! The plot is a romance readers wet dream and I certainly enjoyed every turn of the page.

So this is Kat and Caleb’s story. Kat has been with Travis for like 6 years. When he finally moves out, she can’t help but feel free finally. Travis was no good for her. One night she meets a guy. Caleb is hot stuff! He and his friends are out at a club when he sees the perfect woman. Caleb and Kat hook up, a one night stand for both of them. But both can’t stop thinking about each other. Thankfully fate intervenes and they run into each other. Can they turn this into a relationship?
This book. Definitely had me yelling at my kindle. Some parts made me so mad. I literally screamed at them and in hopes they could hear me and stop the madness lol definitely a good book!

If wanting to read a romance that is centered around relationships especially ones that go deep than this would be one to read. It will also be a starting point in a series that will leave you craving for more. Anytime I see one that begins with a one night stand I find it really is the opener for more than they think. Katerina and Caleb will take you away in this one giving you the inside to this. Caleb is also one that will make you salivate at times. This will also have a solid mix of other characters that will give a full bodied read. This is the first time in reading this author with it also being one I would read again.

Brilliant read! Kat and Caleb are instantly attracted to each other. The sparks could literally start an inferno! Its sizzling. Kat realises there is more to a relationship, especially with douche bag Trevor. God that man needed a good left hook. I am glad Kat bounced back from him and his demeaning ways. It made you love Caleb a hell of a lot more.
This story really touched me. Woman face being belittled alot and this to me was the perfect way to say FU to those idiots that do it out there.
