Rate this book
The SEAL team known as Brannigan's Brigands is dropped into remote Afghanistan to make allies of the unpredictable Pashtun natives. But nearby hides a gang of former military convicts left over from the Soviet invasion-part of a crime syndicate looking to take over the opium trade. And the SEALs have just interfered with their plans.

Now, the Brigands will have to take out the Russian gangsters even as they try to separate friend from foe in a land where the only law is to kill-or be killed.

In this entry of the series, the team has to go try to make allies with a group of natives. Of course things go wrong and the team has to trege through one problem after another. Including a group of military convicts that are able to find their way into the action. I thought that the writing in this one was very good. It was very nice to have the group have the action\dramatic elements that are more known in the more realisatic aspects of entertainment. The action on it’s own was very good. I thought that the mission itself seemed to inhabit a sort of style that you would expect from the big budget action packed Rambo styled action movie. That brings me to the dramatic elements which were the very thing that made this one a bit of a more five starer then the other entries of the series was the way that the lead caratcher gave a more dramatic performance, at least it seemed that way to me. There really wasn’t anything bad enough to do any type of damage to the enjoyment of this story. It is a definite good read and well worth it’s SBBC Membership.
