I am unconvinced by this introduction of the new Full-Bring powers. I also find it rather tiresome that Ichigo is once again mastering things at a rate that is totally unbelievable.

This is not my favourite arc - somehow I felt this was a joke.

Ichigo is living in the aftermath of the final battle against Aizen - he is trying everything to get his powers back.

A group called Fullbringer - conveniently they want to help Ichigo. . .

Let's see what happens before the thousand year blood war.

Ehhh, the Fullbring arc is okay. I think the power system is cool, and kinda wish it had been more devolved like this in the pre-soul society arc cause Tatsuki probably could be relevant then. But regardless, still a fun series, this arc just doesn’t live up to the previous one.

The Lost Agent Arc begins! AKA Fullbring Arc! AKA Xcution Arc! And it's already halfway done because it's the shortest arc in the manga for whatever reason!

It's actually kind of funny how short this arc is. The Soul Society and Arrancar Arcs are filled with so many battles that may or may not truly be necessary. Side characters get fights, even. But this arc is simpler: a new team of guys with new powers show up, Ichigo learns how to use the powers, he trains, and there's only like one actual villain. Tsukishima doesn't have anything like Espadas below him.

We also get to see Chad and Orihime do some stuff, and they are kind of grandfathered in as Fullbringers, since I guess Kubo realized their powers don't fit with the rest of the established lore.

****

Volume 49: Seventeen months have passed since Aizen's defeat. Ichigo can't see ghosts anymore, so Uryu fights the occasional Hollow. Some mild slice-of-life school stuff happens. Ichigo works odd jobs for a woman named Ikumi Unagiya. Uryu and Orihime suspect Ichigo still has Spiritual Pressure. A mysterious man comes to Ichigo with a job request: a background check on Isshin. Karin approaches Urahara. The mystery man, Kugo Ginjo, approaches Ichigo nearby, and mentions how Urahara is also suspicious. Orihime visits Ichigo, and Uryu approaches but is attacked by another mystery man. Uryu's father theorizes the new enemies are humans with powers not unlike Orihime and Chad. Ichigo is invited to Xcution, Ginjo's group. Xcution plans to help Ichigo regain his Shinigami powers. Ginjo explains his crew's powers let them draw out the souls of material objects. They can also transform items special to them into weapons called Fullbring. Chad is also brought in to the Xcution base. Volume end.

Volume 50: Ginjo explains Hollow masks are made from the hearts lost when the hole opens on their chest, and Fullbringers are born when humans' parents are attacked by Hollows before their birth. Fullbringers don't want powers related to Hollows, but they can give them up by passing them to a Shinigami-human mix. Riruka sucks Ichigo into a Dollhouse using her Fullbring so he can begin training by fighting... a pig plushie. Chad assists by suggesting Ichigo use his Deputy Badge for his Fullbring, shortly before the pig transforms into Crazy Beast Mode. Giriko's Fullbring, Time Tells No Lies, acts to set limits within Riruka's Dollhouse. Chad notes he gained his power because of pride; the source for his Fullbring is his Mexican skin. Ichigo's pride as a Shinigami awakens a manji-shaped power in his badge. The manji is one thing, but Ichigo can use the badge for a makeshift Getsuga Tensho that looks suspiciously like a Black Sun.... Tsukishima confronts Orihime with his Fullbring, Book of the End, created from a bookmark. Tsukishima stabs Orihime, but it doesn't physically injure her due to its mysterious ability. Ginjo tells Ichigo that Tsukishima used to be a member of Xcution. Ichigo sees a suspicious meeting between his dad and Urahara, but they leave before Ichigo hears anything. Ichigo continues training in a new Dollhouse, against Fullbringer Jackie. Volume end.

Volume 51: Jackie shows her Fullbring, Dirty Boots. Orihime tells Chad about the attack.
Ichigo's Fullbring starts going wild. Tsukishima busts into the Xcution base and attacks the Dollhouse. Ichigo stands up with makeshift Shinigami uniform. Chad defends Ichigo from Tsukishima. Ichigo fights Tsukishima. Ginjo jumps in and fights Tsukishima. Ichigo comes back in. Yukio sends Ichigo away with his Fullbring, Invaders Must Die. Ginjo's Fullbring is called Cross of Scaffold (I named the others, so may as well mention his here, too). Ichigo trains against Ginjo within Invaders Must Die. Orihime comes in to heal Ichigo. Isshin and Urahara meet with unseen Shinigami. Chad starts training on his own because he was also stabbed by Tsukishima. Orihime fights Ginjo, revealing she powered up during the timeskip. Ichigo resumes the fight. Orihime bonds with Riruka. Ginjo blinds Ichigo to force him to take training seriously. Volume end.

Riruka skinny legs and modest boobies...!

Orihime legs in white thigh highs...!

That little slice of Riruka's ass when she's about to pull the trigger on her Love Gun...!

The Lost Agent Arc begins! Ichigo Kurosaki has lose his Soul Reaper powers and it isn't the same. Now, a high-school student where its been months since Sosuke Aizen has been apprehended, Ichigo continues his life as a normal teenager... only when he encounters Kugo Ginjo, a mysterious man that may able to help Ichigo to gain back his Soul Reaper powers. But there is another treat - one that may have an intention to kill Ichigo. This new arc has a slow start, a slow burn and even a drag at times. I didn't quite get what was the purpose except this arc feels plain boring. The artwork is refine and sleek but the story on the other hand just feels boring.

Even though there are some kind of important events taking place during these three volumes, the stakes - at present - are not THAT high, so it feels more like a necessity than to pace the story overall.

Some characters seem to be pretty much the same as they always are: same reactions to events, and there some new maybe friends, maybe not?

Not very thrilling, but a nice read nevertheless.

perhaps one of the most uninteresting filler arcs i have ever read in my life, if you wanted 'friendship overrules all' these 6 volumes are essentially it in a nutshell- it was interesting to see ichigo being weak for once so that was a nice change in pace for the manga

i’m getting close to where i quit reading weekly, and it’s easy to remember why. it’s fun focusing on the ichigo-orihime-chad-uryu quartet again, but this storyline and the fullbringer characters aren’t nearly interesting enough to justify this number of chapters.

First time I have given Bleach anything this low. It was ok but I feel like we’ve seen it all before. A new power Ichigo has to master really quickly and a pretty BBEG who doesn’t look all that. However, my son has read on and said it gets better so we continue…

The overall idea is interesting and rather silly however the structure wasn't well done this time. A less linear and more tense structure had suited better to this arc in my opinion

The cover art alone got me to buy this volume. The contents are great as well a start to a new arc with Ichigo getting his powers back and dealing with major plotters culminating in Ichigo coming out better for having experienced.

Volume 17 of Bleach 3-in-1 edition (49, 50, 51). With Lord Sôsuke Aizen defeated and Ichigo powerless for the last 17 months, a new power and new enemies come for him.

This book contains the following fights:

- Riruka Dokugamine (F) versus Ichigo Kurosaki
- Jackie Tristan (F) versus Ichigo Kurosaki
- Shukuro Tsukishima (F) versus Ichigo Kurosaki and Kugo Ginjo
- Kugo Ginjo (F) versus Ichigo Kurosaki

We start a new era with our heroes, one without hollows and soul reapers. The volume suffers from it, but we also get to experience the normalcy we had in the early days of the series when it was all about our group of humans and the mundanity of simply going to school and training to get stronger. I missed that, but the new characters and villains are not as interesting to me as the soul society and its captains were.
