Hiro Fujiwara (藤原ヒロ in Japanese) is a Japanese manga artist.

The manga artist was once active under her previous pen name, Izumi Hiro (和泉 ヒロ) at the end of the 1990's but has abandoned the name after she won the Best Rookie award in the LMS for Kaeri Michi, Yuki no Netsu.

Her first series, which is also her latest ongoing work, Kaichō wa Maid-sama! (会長はメイド様!, translation Maid Sama!) is currently serializing in Hakusensha's monthly shōjo manga magazine, LaLa. This series is licensed by Tokyopop for North America, and an anime adaptation was broadcast during Spring 2010.

Ok things def got a little complicated here omg. First of all, I really enjoyed reading about the little trip/double date!! I thought it was really cute just seeing misa and usui in a setting like this and I was happy to finally see kuga showing some interest in Sakura (even though I think she could do better but that’s a whole other story) we also see a whole other side of misaki that we haven’t before! I think she’s finally come to terms with her feelings for usui and is understanding that it’s ok to care about someone and show them that you care. You see she’s becoming more interested in solidifying “what they are” and maybe wants to put a label on their relationship?!👀 while there was still some fun teasing and banter, I felt like we got really great soft moments between misa and usui. I can tell they both care so strongly for one another, I just love them SO much it’s insane. I think my only issue with this volume is that they’re dragging the drama between usui and his family. Like can you just tell us the whole story already bc I’m tired of waiting and some things were SO random lol but other than that, amazing misa and usui content per usual 💘💘💘 some of my fav scenes: her realizing she would miss him if he transferred, kissing and hiding at maid latte, her visiting his apartment to bring him apples, walking her home, admitting more feelings!

Takumi's past is getting juicy! Lots of drama here, and some cute moments, along with fun side stories! I loved seeing the "idiot trio" and how deep their friendship was.

Сюжетът става все по-интригуващ и пленителен за следене. Дори започнах да гледам анимето, което е също толкова добро и забавно, колкото и самата манга ❤

lots of cute moments but I hated how the spa trip was basically just about how much of an ass kuga was being to sakura and then he’s like “I would’ve left if u hadn’t been there” as if that made up for how much of a dick he was being the ENTIRE TRIP. then misaki finally wants to confess and she can’t bc of usuis family stalking them

Volume 11
Mi piace che sia presente all’inizio di ogni volume un riassunto sul volume precedente, così se anche letti a distanza di tempo viene facile continuare la serie. Molto riflessivo e divertente il confronto tra Kuga e Misaki, sorprendente la rivelazione di Usui dove la sua famiglia vuole che cambi scuola e vada in quella di Tora. Sorprendente la dichiarazione “d’amore” di Tora nei confronti di Misaki, ma era solo un modo per farle dire che non può stare con Usui perché sono di mondi diversi e Misaki si rende conto di dover dire a Usui i suoi reali sentimenti. Un nuovo personaggio inserito mi ha sorpresa per la somiglianza impressionante con Usui chi sarà non vedo l’ora di scoprirlo e la storia si fa intrigante e destabilizzante. La storia bonus è molto interessante e divertente, sorpresa dal vedere Misaki e Usui con aspetti opposti al solito.
Volume 12
Il personaggio così simile a Usui è suo fratello ed è un po’ strano, Misaki cerca di dire tutto ciò che prova a Usui ma mi sorprende che la fermi. Sono preoccupata per il fatto che il fratello di Usui abbia detto che non possono stare insieme, ma sorpresa per la dichiarazione di Misaki nei confronti di Usui, molto colpita e felice che Usui resti al suo fianco e che provi forti sentimenti per Misaki.

Ok so while I enjoyed the book along with the side stories. I just couldn’t get to like the first chapter with the hot springs. Mainly because of Kuga and Sakura. Although I like Sakura by her self. I just don’t like that way Kuga is. I get it she likes him but I think he deserves her. Kuga is just too harsh. I’m curious how exactly Fujiwara will warp up their story. Besides that it was cute how Misaki was falling more in love with Usui and being there for help. I can’t wait to see more about Usui past. Finally the friendship that the idiot trio have was so wholesome especially in the bonus chapter.

Getting more of Usui with each volume and I love it! He’s such a mystery, it’s unfair. It’s understandable when Misa gets frustrated— he knows everything about her lol. Misa getting flustered when she has to talk about her feelings is so real. I loved the bonus story of the Idiot Trio. Ikkun is so precious and their friendship is much more than we get to see. I always thought they were all still badass even though they dont act like they have sense half the time. I can’t wait to see where this goes, but I’m not ready for the series to end.

this volume was a little bit more complicated because you are seeing the relationship between Usui and Misaki blossom so beautifully when there seems to be another monkey wrench in the works. Usui's estranged brother that you never knew anything about comes into the works and pushes his way into the love you have been waiting what feels like forever for Misaki to say yes Usui i love you and something comes along and makes her feel like she is not worthy. She deserves her perverted alien!

It's been a while since I read this series. Thankfully this is one of those series where things start coming back to you the moment you pick it up. Overall I enjoyed these volumes. I was entertained and spent the entire book rooting for these two. I am nervous/excited to see where things go from here.

Oh my goodness! As she thinks more and more about their interactions and her feelings, seeking answers...,we have a few new characters to contend with! I just cannot believe how tense it is getting! I am so ready to lock them both in a room and MAKE them talk. I just want it to happen but the story must go on! Can't wait to see what Fujiwara has in the next volume!!!

This volume continues on the story focus with Misaki Ayuzawa. It seems like they are flirting with the idea of someone telling her secret that she works at the Maid Café but no one does. I thought this story was weak and a little much to get through personally. The nice bonus was a ninja was involved and that "mini-rivalry".

I actually didn't think that the class divide was going to be a problem; I mean it's kinda not but I didn't think it would be brought up at all. Loved these volumes and meeting Usui's estranged brother, can't wait for the next one.

The swapped gender alternate universe was fun. I also enjoyed seeing more of Misa’s younger sister. I somewhat ship her with Yoh. I’m liking where things are going with the main couple. Plus, Yukimura and Kannou were still cute. I will be checking out the next volume soon.

starting off hot with a double date hot springs trip! we really get so much tea on usui this volume and it sucks but he’s also just SUCH a lil teenage boy about the whole ordeal. cuz WHY communicate with misaki wjen you can literally just run and hide
