You Are Enough: How To Elevate Your Thoughts, Align Your Energy And Get Out of the Comparison Trap
Are you sick of giving yourself a hard time? Have you had enough of comparing yourself to others? Do you fell that nothing you do is good enough?
It doesn't have to be this way. Because guess what? Your worth is innate you can't earn it with accomplishments or by hitting your goals . . . which means you can't lose it when you think you haven't done enough.
It's time for you to let go of the negative thoughts that keep telling you that you'll only be more when you work harder . . . that keep you stuck, constantly comparing yourself to those around you.
It's time to understand what your body is trying to tell you when you're burning out, pushing yourself to your limits, and chasing self-worth, achievements and perfectionism.
You are enough.
Knowing this starts with accepting yourself. And the shift to true self-acceptance is in realizing you're already enough.
You Are Enough. Three powerful words which we as perfectionists don't usually believe. I never planned to read this book and I came across it by accident as I spotted it on my friends bookshelf. This was no accident, but the universe calling me to reach out and grab it. And, I am so glad I did.
A week later I finished this book and I began feeling worthy, inspired and encouraged by Cassie's work. This is a book that is so simple to read in language that is easy to understand with no complicating or confusing spiritual text. I highly recommend this book for anyone who struggles with comparison, self-doubt and especially to all my perfectionists out there. I feel you! I promise you will get something out of this novel!
I'm grateful after reading this book because it has cemented in me the idea that I will always be enough. My worth is innate, as is everyone else's. This book also helped me realise how important it is to care about 'you' once in a while, or even in a small way every way.
However, towards the latter chapters, there were a few areas that I was quite sceptical about: crystals, angel cards, and chakras. Nevertheless, I scrolled through it to get the basics of what it's about, and the author gives a relatively good grounding of what everything is, with tips as she uses those techniques for herself and her clients too.
Still, I was glad I came across this book and took the time to read it, because it has given me a few important tips about valuing oneself which can sometimes be easily forgotten in our day to day lives.

A lovely little read with lots of insights into self esteem and things that cause us think less of ourselves. As a recovering perfectionist I found this an eye opening read with lots of activities and mindset shifts that I can practice every day on my self love journey :)
An inspiring book about realising your self worth or value, or simply how to stay on your path and top yourself up with love. We delve into the root causes of procrastination, perfectionism and living in a world of comparison. The book provides lots of reflective questions to make you reasses many aspects of your life, mainly your reactions or responses. Looking deep within yourself to ask why am I responding or feeling this way? What is the root cause of all this? And then, how can I shift my energy to live my life to its fullest potential. I ran out of sticky tabs as so much in the book resonated with me, many quotes were underlined (and I never write in my books.. But couldn't help myself here) as reminders to keep around for when the world can feel a little heavy. Thankyou for these beautiful reminders and inspiring words.
This is a nice read and I don't think it's been given the attention it should have.
It's quite simplistic and isn't filled with a over-the-top analytical perspectives but rather it presents easy to understand chapters that allow the reader to acknowledge their own power and define success by their own standards as opposed to pre-conceived benchmarks set by society.
I hope in her next version, she moves away from the need to direct it towards the female population, remember; body types vary but our minds all think, process thoughts, observe the world and make decisions regardless of our gender
Fantastic! Currently dealing with anxiety and wasn't sure where and what this book was going to be directed at but it covered everything from perfectionism, procrastination, all possible feelings associated with not feeling good enough, or like you aren't worthy of whatever etc. It made me feel so happy to read it and without taking anything away from the book or it's intentions, "light" and taken away from the darkness anxiety can cause. I haven't finished it yet, but so far, so good!! Thanks Cassie! Great stuff! :)
Love this book and it's little tips to align me to feeling "Enough". I keep it on my shelf and always look at the Toolkit provided to give me a boost in myself and in my confidence. I loved it and it's definitely a good little book to have, it not only teaches how you can feel more enough but other little tips such as not caring what others think, goals, boundaries. I had never realised that these factors play an important role in how much you feel Enough.
This is a very good starter book for someone looking to begin on the self love journey. I found a lot of other great books to further the information found in the book in the text. It someone got a little cliche but overall it was very interesting and had some extremely great insights.
I got a lot out of this book and I think it will be one I can return when in need of some of some reminders to be kind to myself. I do like self help books as a genre and this one has some really useful tools to help move through some of the tougher times in life.
The first part of the book could have been a lot shorter and most of the information presented is nothing that I haven't read before. However it had some good tips, especially regarding comparison and social media.
For the most part an enlightening and helpful book, however the blurb fails to mention the books heavy emphasis on chakras, crystals and energy healing.
Review: Holy moly! This has to be the best self-help book I've read so far. I went in to this book not expecting much, but just completely related so much to everything the author wrote that when it was time to return it to the library, I renewed my loan so that I could finish the book.
This book, although targeted at females, would really work for anyone. It talks about how we can be so caught up in perfecting everything we do, constantly comparing ourselves to others or to our potential selves, that we feel worn out, burn out, and never good enough or pleased with what we do. Personally, I relate so much to this and really wanted to read a book that would help me find peace with who I am and what I've accomplished so far in life, and this book definitely does that.
Although this book isn't a Christian book, a lot of the values, beliefs and suggestions in this book align with the beliefs I have as a Christian (for example, the idea of speaking aloud an intention or a wish and letting it return to you in the best form, trusting that Divine time is the best time, allowing the wisdom of a higher 'self' or 'power' to speak to you). This was a really nice surprise for me, and I think is also part of the reason why I love it so much, because I feel like it doesn't conflict with my beliefs as a Christian, and if anything reinforces to me that my beliefs are founded in truth, because others also use/believe the same things.
The only part of the book I didn't connect with as strongly were the ending chapters where the author describes how to make an energy toolkit. This is where she describes chakras, crystals and oracle cards and how she uses them. I've always been skeptical of these things, however the chapters were short enough that I still read them without feeling bored or uninterested. And in fact she did open my mind a little to these things, and I may do some further research on these.
All in all, a really enjoyable book and I would highly recommend this to anyone!! GO READ IT!
There are a few really good little tidbits of advice in here, but I just didn't connect with the authors writing style. As a personal development book I felt that it was pretty flat & lacked depth.
I cannot even find the words to describe how much I loved this book. In the beginning the author encourages you to make this book your own and I did exactly that. I highlighted sentences and paragraphs, folded corners on pages I wanted to flick back to, wrote on the margins and put hearts next to the paragraphs that spoke to me. I decided to read this book are struggling for so long with how I viewed myself personally, professionally and everywhere in between. This book really helps you ask yourself questions like why am I comparing myself, what am I gaining from it, what do I want for myself and what can I do to better myself. It encourages you to make time for yourself, learn to say no and just how to realise you are enough.
I cannot thank Cassie enough for this beautiful book
A lovely book with powerful words. I needed a push to life and this was it. We are reminded that it is okay to put ourselves first sometimes and also to start whatever we want to do, it will one day be our best work, self doubts is a kill of joy and success. Cassie is a very good writer. I loved it.
Every woman needs to read this. We all need to find our inner happy person! :) Great book to finish the year with! I’m not into the crystals or the sage burning but the things to journal about and really think about are all very important things to remember to live your best life.
