If you are serious about linocutting, then this is the book for you. I would say that this is for an 'improver' rather than a complete beginner. This is the most thorough guide to an art technique I have ever read and would perhaps be off-putting to someone who has never done printmaking before. It is an excellent, comprehensive guide to its subject.
