I read the Fablehaven series with my children several years ago and we all loved it! This is a fun activity book that goes along with the series, which I wish had been available back then. My daughter and I have had fun doing some of the activities. There's a wide variety so there's something for everyone. There are recipes, crafts, games, coloring pages, quotes and much more! Going through it made us want to read through the series again so I would highly recommend this to anyone reading the series for the first time. It also got us excited for the sequel, Dragonwatch!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, which did not affect my review in any way

This book is so fun! I guess, it's more of an activity book than an actual book, but very enjoyable nonetheless. Imagination is definitely a perfect way to describe this book. What a great way for kids to use their imaginations while doing the crafts and activities. There are fun crafts, coloring pages, activity pages, and thoughtful quotes throughout. I'm excited for my daughter to dive in to all the fun on our way to Grandma's for Thanksgiving.

Received a complimentary copy from the publisher, all views and opinions are my own.

I will freely admit that the Fablehaven Series is one of my favorites. When I heard that Brandon Mull was working on a sequel series to Fablehaven called "Dragonwatch" I actually screamed out loud. So of course I jumped at the chance to review his new book Fablehaven: Book of Imagination.

There are so many fun things for a kid...oh I'll admit it, even adults will love doing things in this book. I was so fascinated when I first opened up this book. It brought back so many memories of when I first read the series. This book would be the perfect gift for your child or grandchild who is just starting to read the series. There are many things that they have to remember about the books in order to appreciate the activities in this new book. I actually can't wait to do some of the coloring pages & I especially loved one with a fairy. The other fun thing I'd love to do would be the making your own magical preserve.

I just was amazed at how everything in this book would ignite a child's/teen imagination. My only warning about this book is, if you have more than one child that likes this series, you may need to buy more than one copy for your family in order to stop bickering among family members that want to do the same page. Honestly, this book is an absolute winner for many hours of entertainment technology free. It also made me even more excited to read Dragonwatch: A Fablehaven Adventure coming out next March 14, 2017.

MY THOUGHTS

This book isn't just for Fablehaven fans nor for children. Anyone can have fun coloring , solving the riddles and so much more. It's an entertaining adventure. You can spend hours in the magical pages of this book. If you like recipes, there's some you can give your hand at. Secret codes, there's some of them too. You can even create your own magical preserve. You can write, draw, color, do a little designing and there are word games to solve too. This book is a great way to stir up the imagination in the kids and in yourself. You're never too old to enjoy and have fun. This book would be great to keep the kids occupied on a cold winter day when school's out. I enjoyed reading the quotes that are throughout the book such as: "We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already. "-J.K. Rowling. Grab this great activity book for yourself and maybe get a second copy for the kids.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and Night Owl Reviews and voluntarily decided to review it.

I am enthralled with this activity book. (I want the coloring pages, the kids can have the rest.)
My family loves the Fablehaven series. I read them with my children and it was a wonderful experience for all of us.

This activity book is a fun way for children to use their imagination. There are coloring pages, mazes, learn how to draw pages, origami, etc. This would give any child many hours of enjoyment. I could see it being used in a classroom while a class is reading the book together. Personally, I would not want to write in the book. I could see myself copying off pages, but this book is meant to be written in, drawn in, and have pages torn out.

Whenever I read a book I naturally start creating extracurricular activities to enhance the reading experience. However, this book does all the creative process for the FABLEHAVEN series. Crafts, art, puzzles, games, coloring pages, quotes from the book and other sources, writing, reading, sharing ideas, etc.

The only thing is that all the activities are around the characters and events of the FABLEHAVEN series by Brandon Mull -- so if you haven't read the series you may not understand everything, but it is still fun activities.

I want to try the craft of making a RAIN STICK (page 30)

ONE OF MY FAVORITE QUOTES: Not all those who wander are lost -- but I didn't know that it came from Tolkien until reading it in this book.

Fablehaven is one of my favorite fantasy series and as such I was eager to take a look at this activity book related to the series. The book does not disappoint. The book is full of secret codes, recipes to try out, and your own preserve to create. Readers who enjoy interactive books that inspire imaginative play are bound to enjoy this book. Writing, drawing, coloring, designing, and word games punctuate this fun book. Hours of creative enjoyment are contained in this book. The sheer variety of different activities and games makes this a great book for both individual and group activities. One could even use the book to set up a Fablehaven party to celebrate the series or the upcoming sequel series that comes out in March 2017. If you have a Fablehaven lover in your house, this book is a must.

This is a cute workbook style book perfect for any Fablehaven fan that you may or may not know! I enjoyed flipping through it and trying to figure out the riddles, seeing all the fun games that you can play and checking out all of the coloring pages. Quite honestly, I was amazed at the content and different activities that are included in this book. I even had my daughter pull out her copy so that I could look and see what one of the secret messages was. And it was something that she hadn't even noticed, and she's read this series several times.
Make sure you grab a copy of this fun book for the Fablehaven lover in your life!
