Hot n' Handsome, Rich & Single... how far are you willing to go?
Meet Alex Reid, CEO of Reid Enterprise. Billionaire extra ordinaire, chiselled to perfection, panty melter and currently single.
Learn about Alex Reid before he began Managing the Bosses.
Alex Reid sits down for an interview with R&S. His life style is like his handsome looks: hard, fast, breath-taking and out to play ball. He's risky, charming and determined.
How close to the edge is Alex willing to go? Will he stop at nothing to get what he wants?
Alex Reid is book 1 in the R&S Rich and Single Series. Fall in love with these hot and steamy men; all single, successful, and searching for love.
I was not really impressed with the story line in this book. It was lacking. The pretense of the story was good but I never felt like it went anywhere. Alex is a CEO billionaire and wants control in all aspects of his life. He seems to be constantly searching for something and bouncing from one woman to another (or in one instance in the book two women at one time) and doesn't really seem to care. I would have liked to see some resolution to this story because when I finished the book I found myself asking, "really, this is how it ends?"
This was an interesting read for me. While reading it I wasn’t quite sure what the point was other than a look into Alex’s life as a young billionaire. The ending was abrupt but then it also went into the first of the Managing the Boss series. So I’ll leave it at this and see what happens in the rest of that series as I assume it followed Alex and Jamie…
Decent, for a 'poor girl/rich, handsome, perfect boss' themed book. I did like the main character, Alex Reid enough to buy the next book in the series.
Note to any author/reviewer reading this: I'd love to read a story about a strong successful woman meeting and falling in love with a strong successful man (neither of them supernatural, though I like paranormal romance), with, of course, the usual obstacles to them getting together that make the story! Instead of a poor/damaged woman needing to be saved by an unusually handsome, rich, influential man. I'd like recommendations if anyone has one.
Hot, sexy Alex is more than you need for this series. First reading about his single life was one thing but once you get into the Boss series it’s a whole other thing. I believe that even I couldn’t resist Alex Reid. So I know that Jamie can’t and considering how that first book of the Boss series ended I knew it was going to be hot. I recommend this series just for the craziness of Jamie’s family and the heat that comes from her encounter with her boss.
This book starts out as an interview of Alex, who owns his own company, is a multi billionaire and isn't 30 yet. It was such a strange beginning that I wasn't sure what to think. The book is hot, sexy and hard to put down and includes a second book that was even more so. If you like it steamy you will enjoy this one.
So the book was short and sweet. Left me wondering what happens next. The narrator kali I really enjoyed her voice. I've listened to her in other books before. She makes the characters pop out and the storyline just that more interesting. Thanks
He needs some type of regular relief. Granted his business in important but this once in a while relief is NOT working for him. I have a feeling that his live-in PA whoever she may be will end up being more. It's bound to happen.
This barely rated 3 stars for me, while the blurb had me intrigued once I started reading, I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting for SOMETHING to happen. But all I got was a workaholic billionaire who just sleeps with random women then continues on his merry way... Disappointed!
Characterization could have been a bit connecting. The portrayal of the scenes are lacking involvement at times. Plot is covering the story in a simple flow which demands a bit more tight grip into the story. Recommendable for an one time read.
I loved the beginning to get to know a little about Alex. He's a self made rich guy but he won't take a lot from people. He expects the best from people but some do disappoint.
Alex Reid, Rich & Single book one by Lexi Timms. I read this as a prequel to the Managing the Bosses series. I think it works very well as a prequel. Can’t wait to read the first book in the series. So far I like the characters. We’ll see how the series goes.
The storyline was a little surprising. It’s not the usual bad boy player, falls in love, sorts out his life and gets on the straight and narrow. I think it’s probably more realistic than that. Player that never changes his spots. Great performance.
Lexy Timms is one of my favorite authors I love how she writes
I read some of the boss series and loved every moment of it so I had to read this one as well. I like Alex I always have I love how you added the first book in the series to this book.
Love Alex! Kind, sexy, gorgeous and very rich! What's not to love?!? And, on top of all that, he is caring and capable of love outside of himself. Great read. Thanks.

You'll get 2 books for one price with this page turner. First up is the single life of a sexy, young, billionaire CEO in R & S. Alex Reid is hard working and a fierce lover kind of guy. He's humble but demanding, and man, can he last! Then you get the first book of 9 in the Managing the Boss series, which is set a short time after R & S. This is the book where you will meet Jamie, Alex's love interest in the rest of the series. The remainder of the books in that series will be like a serial, in that each book continues where the previous one left off. I'd read Managing... several years back and thoroughly enjoyed it all over again.
This book was given to me for an honest review. I liked the story, it was well written and put together. I was surprised as to how short it was, however, now my interest is piqued. I am pleasantly looking forward to the rest of the series and find out what happens.
