I enjoyed Jana’s debut novel Wrong, but Right hit all the right buttons for me. I completely and utterly LOVED this book! It was the perfect mix of funny, heartwarming and sexy. Plus it had a few moments that made me feel, which I love!

Everly Jensen has been in love with her brother’s best friend since she was a kid. She knew that he was the right guy for her. Everly has always gone above and beyond when it’s come to getting the man of her dreams, but he never appreciated her eccentric behavior and grand gestures. Then she unexpectedly meets someone who gets her. This guy likes her just the way she is. He appreciates her crazy and likes her more for it. The quirky features that some think are a little too much are the things he likes best. And it has her re-thinking everything she’s thought about her ‘plan’.

Usually people are trying to rein me in, not encourage me, but I don’t think Sawyer would. I think instead of wanting me to tone it down, he’d look forward to what I’d throw at him next.

Everly is the best character ever. She is someone you will want to be best friends with. I couldn’t get enough of her one-liners and snarky attitude. I loved everything about this girl! And her man was beyond perfect for her! They were amazing together. Nothing makes me happier than loving a character and that character finding their perfect match!

All of my friends who love stories that make you laugh out loud and fall in love, I can’t recommend this one enough. It kept a smile on my face the entire time while reading. I couldn’t get enough of Everly and her fun and crazy antics. Jana’s writing is fantastic and I saw a lot of growth from her first book to this one. If you’re looking for a lighter read that’s got lots of humor, sexy times and is sweet and all around fun- pick this one up! It gets 5 stars from me!!!
I’ve said it before- life really has a way of working out for me. My advice? A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible is essential. And a dash of delusion never hurts.

*Major Spoilers*

Everly (the h) has been in love with Finn (who is 8 years older) since she was 6
and thereon, the trajectory of her life revolved around Finn with the ultimate goal being to become Mrs Finn.

Finn gets a job as a professor at U. Penn and, just like that, Everly decides she will become an undergrad at U. Penn because she would then have 4 years to wear down the completely oblivious Finn.

It is now year 3.5 and she is nowhere close to achieving her goal and at the last attempt of 'operation get Finn to notice me' she meets, Sawyer, Finn's older brother, who falls in love with her at first sight. Thereafter she's forced to ride back to Uni with Sawyer and it's during this 4-hour trip that the script flips. Sawyer tells Everly he would rather prefer she focused on him.

Oh, she resists for all of 4-5 days, however, he's relentless, he sends gifts (a pair of Louboutins, some flowers etc) and with some social media finagling on his part *boom👏🏽, he gets the date.

I liked Sawyer who started as an Alpha male but weirdly morphed into an Alpha minus/Beta Plus, still, I liked him. I also continued to like "fickle" Everly simply because she was super funny and both of them together was doubly fun.

This fun fuzzy feeling persisted until the big conflict, during which (and with no explanation whatsoever) Sawyer breaks up with Everly. Aaaaaaand.... that singular act, ruined this book completely. She mopes about then after some days decides she has to get back with Sawyer, which leads to a very cringe-worthy reunion.

I nearly broke my MacBook. I nearly sobbed. And I was done. HAS SHE NO PRIDE????!

I AM EMOTIONALLY BEREFT.

Re-read March 2025. Upgraded to 4 stars (I don’t know what I was thinking. It’s good)

***3 STARS***

Coming off of the first book Wrong I was excited to read Everley’s story in Right, but it didn’t hit me the same way.

Everley has been in love with her brother’s best friend Finn since she was a child. She just knows they are perfect for each other. She just has to convince him and boy is she not shy. She does some pretty over the top things to get Finn’s attention and Finn is running the other way. Finally during a holiday trip home she meets Finn’s older brother Sawyer. Sawyer is intrigued with Everley’s antics and wants to know more about the girl stalking his brother. He finds her interesting and attractive.

I really liked Sawyer and it was clever of the author to name the brothers Sawyer and Finn. But Everley was in a league by herself. She was a bit MUCH and I didn’t particularly care for her personality. I think she needed some therapy because of her obsession with Finn. Unreal! Maybe because I am an introvert brassy and unfiltered has to be written really well for me to love that type of heroine.

Overall it was an ok read. I will finish the series.

”…you’re so convinced he’s the one.”
“The right one, yes.”

What a fantastic heroine Jana Aston created in Everly Jensen! I haven’t read the first book of this series but the synopsis of this one called to me and I had a blast reading it. The author guides us through Everly’s early hatched plot and plans to marry her brother’s best friend, Finn Camden. Finn is older but our heroine bides her time plotting and scheming for years.

”He still views me as Eric’s little sister. Off limits. But that will change when I turn eighteen. I know it will. I’ll get into Penn. He’ll see me as an adult – a young one, but legal. And eventually he’ll see me as so much more. I can be patient.”

description

What I loved was that the man’s attention she actually gets is from Finn’s hot, rich, older brother Sawyer. Sawyer and Everly gift readers with perfect banter and hot chemistry.

description

”Yes, I’ve had sex in my office,” he says, answering my unasked question. “I wasn’t going to suggest it for our first time together as I’m not sure how loud you are.” He pauses, gesturing outside his office. “Lots of people working out there, but we can give it a try if you want.” I snort. So fucking confident, this guy. “I bet. I bet women bend right over this desk for you,” I lean forward and place my hands on the desk and drop one should seductively. “I bet they’re all, ‘Oh Sawyer, it’s so big. I don’t think it’s gonna fit. ‘Newsflash for you. They’re lying. It always fits.”

description

Sawyer and Everly won me over with their humor and he’s more than enough of a man to handle her schemes and drama. Together they were amazing and had me shipping them hard.

”Usually people are trying to rein me in, not encourage me, but I don’t think Sawyer would. I think instead of wanting me to tone it down, he’d look forward to what I’d throw at him next.”

description

The story was a solid 5 star read until the 80 percent mark which I would have preferred that the hero talked to the heroine more because he came off rude and demeaning. Still, the couple got back on track and loved how the epilogue was in the hero’s POV. I’m left with wanting more of Sawyer and Everly who were such a great book couple!!

There was nothing wrong with Jana Aston’s debut book, WRONG….. right? It was sexy, lighthearted, playful, and embarrassingly fun!!!!! So after we were steered in the wrong direction, Jana decides to steer her readers in the right direction with her newest standalone, RIGHT.

#Right1

Whatever direction Jana takes her readers on whether it’s wrong or right, just be sure to know that Jana Aston can write. Yes, this cat loving author can write a fresh, smart, modern romantic comedy that will have you laughing out loud. Seriously, I thought WRONG was wickedly entertaining but I got to say that I am favoring and loving RIGHT as my new favorite romantic comedy from Jana. This book was oooooh so right!!!!!

photo 2b8cfa6ff7b557708e59b748b50c23_zpszpjae0ll.gif “I want your cock inside of me, Sawyer. I want you to sink it into me, with my legs stretched wide and all of your weight on top of me. And then I want to feel you move. I wanna feel you sliding out of me and then slamming back inside. That’s what I want.”

#Right3

I know you are going to be asking me how can this book be RIGHT? Well, the answer to that is simple. Jana has once again created a fun, sexy, flirty, smart, and deliriously entertaining read. You gotta love a heroine that is confident, sexy, and knows what she wants. Everly may have thought she found Mr. Right but as it turns out, Mr. Right might be someone completely different. Who needs a professor when Mr. Right might be a smart-mouth, almost billionaire, dirty talking alpha hero. Right? Everly may have been wrong with her first choice of Mr. Right but she will soon discover she will be making all the right choices. So if you are ready to fall head over heels or in this case ”boots” in love with a witty and fun romantic comedy, then you need to read RIGHT.

#RIGHT

As I sit here writing my review with my freshly new painted nails that is aptly titled, Cake Hole, all I got to say go read RIGHT. Meet Everly and find out who is her Mr. RIGHT. And as an added bonus for all those nail polish lovers out there like myself, Jana does mention some amazing nail polish colors in her book. And also, Mr. Grind Me aka Dr. Luke and Sophie makes an appearance. So there is nothing wrong about that...right?

LIVE!! http://amzn.to/1RXC9M8

If there was ever a book I was just dying to read it was Right, from the moment I met Everly in Wrong I knew this girl was my soulmate. I was worried that Everly's story wouldn’t live up to this incredible hype I had built in my head. I was so crazy to even think this, because it has completely exceeded my expectations.

Everly is a planner and she has entire life planned out for the most part. She wants her happily ever after and to find a love like her parents have. She has seen first hand the opposite in her friend’s lives and she wants more for herself. That is what starts the mission to marry Finn Camden, her childhood crush and her brother's best friend.

Everly is seriously the most amazing character I have ever read. She is so funny and lighthearted, but she also has this caring and compassionate side. Sometimes her actions seem insane, but you can see how much he genuinely cares about her friends. I think everything Everly does comes from a place of love.

Everly’s happily ever after/man of her dreams comes as a complete surprise to her and turns her perfectly planned world upside down. I seriously loved every minute of it. Every. Single. Minute. He is truly Everly’s perfect match. He matched her crazy one act at a time and left her in shock.

The story is told mostly in the present, but it does begin with reflections into Everly’s past. The dynamic between Chloe and Everly was perfect and their humor had me seriously laughing out loud. I loved seeing these moments and understanding more of Everly. Once the reflections are over we really get to the heart of the story and connection between Everly and Sawyer.

Everly is resistant to change her plans and is completely put off by someone so intrusive, but it doesn't take long for her to finally see the benefit of being desired. Sawyer puts Everly's happiness first and is intrigued by her, he wants to know everything about her.

Their connection is smoking hot, Everly isn’t the naive virgin, she is experienced and not afraid to ask for what she wants. Their relationship progressed and with every page I fell more in love with them.

I loved Wrong, but this story is just more to me. It has more feels. It has more heart and emotion. More humor and LMAO for reals moments. It’s seriously perfection from the beginning to the end. In case you didn’t know Jana is like the second funniest person I know, I hope you are reading this Jana, and when you read her books you can see her humor and wit. I cannot recommend her stories enough, if you love funny and sexy you will love them!

5 Dreams and Schemes Stars ⭐

"It’s okay to rewrite your happily ever after, Everly. Sometimes the right guy is the one you never see coming."

Most would say that Everly is too much. She's used to being in control and going after what she wants, even if it's perceived as overstepping. Everly has convinced herself that she met her true love Finn Camden at 6 years old. Now whether he reciprocates her feelings is irrelevant because she has already mapped out their forever.

Yet a road trip to her brother's wedding has her actually meeting someone she never saw coming. A man that makes her question everything she thought she knew. And unfortunately, Everly might have to admit that she was wrong. Oh the horrors...

Sawyer Camden is besotted the minute he lays eyes on Everly. He was already impressed with her antics in trying to woo his brother, even if completely misplaced. But meeting her in the flesh is something else. Now he needs to convince her to reset her sights on the right man which is him. Easy peasy since Sawyer has the experience and charm to pull it off. It soon becomes apparent how well matched these two are and that Everly doesn't stand a chance.

I snort. So fucking confident, this guy.
"I bet. I bet women bend right over this desk for you.
I bet they’re all, ‘Oh, Sawyer, it’s so big. I don’t think it’s gonna fit.’
Newsflash for you. They’re lying. It always fits."

I can't even! If I thought Jana Aston couldn't produce a book as good as 'Wrong', I was completely mistaken. I hate to say it but there's probably a bit of Everly in all us gals. So blinded by a love interest, that you lose sight of the blaringly obvious truth. Seriously the things she did was cringeworthy but incredibly funny. And as for Sawyer, hot damn. There is nothing more sexy than a man that can wrangle a feisty woman and enjoy every moment! Loved it!

This whole book in one image:

Ok, nope. The chick was an idiot!!! And so was the dude! Both of them!! Gah, where do I even begin!

The only good thing about this book is that it was fast paced. It was a fast read (although I did skim a lot, so there's that...).

So, we've got this chick who's stalking a guy since she was 6 years old (now she's 22). And I mean real stalking, from following him (Finn) around to breaking into his apartment and buying pets for "the two of them", because they love each other. He's just too shy to express his feelings.

Then, out of the blue, the guy's brother appears (she didn't know about him, it's not like she stalked Finn, how could she have known he has a BROTHER who just happens to be a BILLIONAIRE?! I mean, nah, a person like that would never come up in conversations... ever... not once in 12 years...).

Anyway, this brother appears and, after a few hours with him, she decides she loves him. He is 34 years old but he acts worse than a teenager, he makes no sense, he's an idiot. But hey, he's a billionaire, he has to make up for all the stupidity going on in his head...

Up until now, it was a 2-star read. But guess what?! No, you can't leave a book at being bad, you just have to make it awful!

After a lot of weird, logicless (if that's a word) events, the guy (the brother, not the one who was stalked) finds out . I mean, where does that come into the story?! And she's acting even stranger than before...

All in all, this is the kind of "Fuck logic" kind of book.

I was absolutely sucked into Sawyer and Everly's story. After Everly's aggressive pursuit of Finn in book one, I thought for sure she would end up with him. I was really happy to see her end up with someone just as interesting as her. Sawyer was all alpha and he knew Everly was meant for him the second he saw her. The plot definitely peaked and kept my attention. The characters were dynamic and complex. They complimented each other very well in and out of bed. I loved seeing the growth, more so in Everly and I was happy that her transitions weren't full of unnecessary drama. I even liked Everly's meddling lol The one part that pissed me off was Sawyer's reaction to the changing circumstance but other than that I loved their tale. Safety: No OM/OW/Sharing, despite the h's belief that she was in love with someone else at first. They used condoms at first, then not. Neither were Vs. No rape/abuse.

4.5 Boots STARS

This was one super fun and sexy read! I totally lost track of time and read this in one sitting. It was lighthearted with moments that were sad, funny and a whole lot of sexy!! Jana Aston’s second novel had a chick lit feel with one hot swoon-worthy Alpha, Sawyer Camden and a spunky, funny heroine, Everly Jensen.

For those of you who read Wrong, we first met Everly then. She was Sophie’s smart ass friend who was crushin’ on her older brother’s best friend who was also a professor at her university. Okay, I’m actually downplaying that because Everly’s been in love with her brother’s best friend since she was 6 years old and she’s planned her life around getting him to fall for her. She’s about as close to a stalker as you can get without actually calling the cops…totally in a funny way, I think.

Everly’s hilarious and a true force to-be-reckoned with. While her sights are firmly fixed on one man, she meets another, Sawyer, that SEES Everly and likes ALL that he sees. He sets his sights on her and despite him not being part of her plan; she can’t deny it just feels right.

 photo Right1_zpsrgrbk4ds.jpg

Her relationship with Sawyer is sweet, sexy and oh soo good. These two just fit perfectly and Sawyer has no qualms in showing that his intentions are forever.

Sawyer doesn’t tire of Everly’s quirky ways or her meddling hi-jinks. In fact, he loves how unpredictable and feisty she is.

 photo Right_zps2jeevbk2.jpg

This is a must read if you love humour, strong, sassy heroines and sexy alphas. Jana’s writing is engaging and witty! I’ve already suggested/asked/begged for another story about Everly’s other friend, Chloe. Jana has a promising future as a romance writer and I strongly encourage you to check this one out!

PS: I’m going nail polish shopping! I’m feeling like some Size Matters by Essie (read the book and you'll get it)

Loved this one! It was very funny and sexy, quick reading. Everly was hilarious with her positive attitude and shenanigans. Sawyer charmed me with his wooing and allowing Everly to be herself. Together they made one hot couple. Nice book if you want to be entertained and laugh your ass off. And the epilogue from Sawyer's POV was a wonderful cherry on top.

3.5 Seeing What is In Front of You Stars
* * * 1/2
There are some people who seem to have come out of the womb fully formed... a distinct little person with a will of their own. They can have all sorts of personality traits...always sweet and cooing...or could be an old soul, patience and willing. Or they could come out like gangbusters...full of energy, headstrong and having a tunnel focus on what they want and will do anything to get it.

When Jana Aston wrote her first book, Wrong... little did she know (at least she didn't plan on it), she would create a secondary character that had a mind of her own and would demand her own book. This character was so headstrong, she didn't even want a regular name... Oh no... she needed something totally different...

And being that force... she got it... Everly.

Now Everly Jensen was introduced in the first book and she was not shy by any means. She held the readers' attention... made us curious and in the end got her own book. That isn't to say, though, she was the most warm and fuzzy character ever created. In order to appreciate Everly... you had to buy in big time from the start.

Everly was basically a good person... but she balanced a fine line of being oh, so wrong when she decided on who her forever man was to be. She became infatuated with her older brother's best friend Finn...and that can understandably happen. It happened to Everly at 6 years old when Finn offhandedly gave her a moment of kindness and Everly decided then and there this 14 year old boy was the one for her.

No, I am talking decided... put a fork in it, this is the one... period, at 6 years old.

During Everly's whole childhood, preteen and teenage years, she remain focused on Finn. Every thought, plan and scheme was Finn- 24/7. Everly even decided to go to Penn because Finn was going to teach there.

It is Everly's senior year at Penn. She has bided her time dating other college guys to fill in while plotting for Finn to be ready for her. She has used her brother's wedding to arrange a ride with Finn to have him "See" her as the woman she's become. Everly knows this is her window of opportunity to awaken Finn to how perfect they both would be together.

Now Everly does have friends, those who she is close with....and these friends have mentioned maybe her plotting and scheming isn't the answer...maybe she should leave herself open to other possibilities....and Everly isn't dense. She understands they mean well... she is just sure Finn is the one.

Until his older brother Sawyer tells her differently...

It seems all of her planning and trying to manipulate Finn into becoming her other half has not been working...and when Sawyer has the opportunity to step in and take Everly back to school after a visit with her brother, new wife and parents....he jumps in.

Sawyer is taken with Everly...he loves how free, unedited, headstrong she is. He has heard of the crazy things she has done trying to show Finn how perfect they would be... But Sawyer knows his brother would never fit with Everly. She exhausts Finn...Everly needs a man who will let her be who she is... and be strong enough to show she can let him lead.

Sawyer tells that in so many words and it throws Everly off her game...Sawyer decides this woman is worth the effort and proceeds to woo her.

Now there is much more to the story...but that is the essence...
There are smexy times and the chemistry worked. There were also more cross over of past characters from Wrong and more insight to others characters who will have their own stories in following books.

The main thing about this book was... you either bought into Everly being basically good... and every action she took was with positive intent...even when it went over the line... so you felt she was lovable. She could be a handful. Sawyer had a lot going for him... and then he lost his mind for a moment causing major drama...Things did get back on track, however, it felt a little too pat for me...

I will say, Jana Aston has a huge sense of humor and her talent has been developing throughout this series. I came to it late- starting in the middle so I can say I have seen the growth between the first book and the following ones.

If you enjoy sharp wit and are understanding of the fantasy element to these stories, ie: there are no money woes, everyone is attractive and careers are in the making or established, then these are a hoot. I bought in and will be looking for more.

Jana Aston delivered an entertaining romantic comedy that will make you smile and grin from beginning until the end. A light, sexy and funny read, 'Right' fallows the story of one of the most enjoyable heroine I’ve read in a while.

“It’s okay to rewrite your happily ever after, Everly. Sometimes the right guy is the one you never see coming.“

Our heroine, Everly always knew what she wanted, to marry Finn Camden, her childhood crush and her brother’s best friend. She’s convinced he’s the perfect man for her, the right one so all her life she tried to win Finn over. She was obsessed with him since she was six years old, spying on him and trying to show him she can be the perfect wife for him. Over the years Finn turn her down numerous times, but Everly never give up.

“I like the way he looks at me, like he gets me. Like he wants more of me. Like I interest him.”

Everly’s plans change completely when she meets another man. This man is different from Finn. Not only he likes everything about her, but he also gets her like no other. If at first Everly seems reluctant to accept the possibility there are other men out there other than Finn, as time passes she starts to wonder if all this time she was wrong. Maybe Finn is not the perfect man for her after all...

“…my feelings confuse me. I’m so flustered by him. By his interest. By his certainty. By that kiss.”

If you like a good, enjoyable chick-lit than you will like this one. It was fun and sexy with just a little bit of angst and drama and an endearing heroine that put a smile on my face more times than I can count. Everly was a very fun character. I liked the way she was portrayed. The woman definitely knew what she wanted. She was eccentric and everything, but I’m not gonna lie, at times she was a little OTT. Usually I’m annoyed by these kind of heroines, but for some reason I found Everly’s character very entertaining. She was smart and crazy (good crazy since I LOL-ed so many times), confident and determined, sweet and caring.

“Just so we’re clear, you’re mine.”
He smiles in response. “You’re such a little cavewoman.”
“I’m serious.”
“You’re bewitching.”

The new man in her life, Sawyer was likeable as well. Almost a billionaire, Sawyer was the perfect match for Everly. He’s smart mouthed like our heroine, sexy, a little arrogant and also a little alpha. I loved his sexy dirty mouth and the fact that he liked and accepted Everly exactly how she is.

These two together were perfect for each other in every way. I loved their connection, how easily they talked with each other about everything and of course their sexy moments. Because yeah, the sexy scenes between them were sweet and adorable. Their banter and actually all the interactions between them were delightful and I couldn’t get enough of them.

What it didn’t work for me were the chapters from the past. There were way too many for my liking, so I would have liked the story to be written entirely in the present.

That being said, this was a fun, enjoyable read with some good LOL moments, two likeable characters and great banter.

DNF @ 30%

I bought this book along with the first one. After Wrong turned out to be disastrous, I thought I should at least give this one a try. And how I wish I hadn't.

Imagine the following situation:

Your best friend's brother, whom you have known for 15 years, shows interest in you. You, because you've known him for so long and because he's your best friend's brother, trust him and give him your house keys so he has a place to stay. He breaks that trust. He makes three (!!!) copies of your keys, just in case you take one set of keys away from him. You then come home one evening, only to find this guy in your house (breaking and entering), cooking and expecting you to be delighted. You throw him out of your house and tell him you're not interested in the slightest and ask him to desist. He continues to sexually harass you and even ends up sexually assaulting you in the car you're driving, although - again - you have repeatedly and explicitly told him you're not interested.

What would you call this guy? A creep? A psycho? A sex offender? That's what I would call him.
I tried to sex-talk Finn in the car and he turned on the radio. But I’m an aggressive girl and Finn’s shy so I didn’t let it phase me. Nope. Instead I placed my hand on his thigh, and as I started to slide it up his leg, Finn finally spoke. He said no.
In Right this person is called the heroine. This stalkerish behaviour seems to be acceptable if it's a woman doing it. I am done with this author.

Right is the second novel by Jana Aston and features Everly Jensen who was introduced in Wrong as Sophie’s a-little-out-of-control co-worker and general stalker of the man she decided she was going to marry. But is Finn really the right man for her – or has she been chasing the fantasy of her six year old self, missing out on something so much more?

I loved this book! Everly was so fun and endearing and between the moments when her crazy had me laughing out loud, she snuck in a stole a piece of my heart. It is no secret that the heroines in romance books rarely do it for me. Most of the time I tolerate them, but with Everly – well she made it to the list of loved characters. She had this quiet vulnerability to her that was just beneath the surface of her outlandish behavior. And as much as I loved her crazy antics, when she let her hurt show, I was a goner. She had me, completely.

Now, I was a little surprised when I discovered that Finn was not going to be our hero... but I have to say that was the right decision. It is obvious instantly that he is not the man Everly needs. Enter Sawyer. He matched Everly step for step in being forward. He was her perfect match. I loved him instantly. I loved that he was a chaser. That he saw her and he didn’t run for the hills at her behavior towards Finn, but that he embraced it. That he loved her for who she was and appreciated her. He wasn’t going to stifle her but rather love her even more for the way she was. That doesn’t mean that he didn’t have his moments of utter stupidity – because he had one of those... but I think I loved him even more afterwards for it.

Ultimately though I loved Everly above and beyond all things. Do you know how rare that is? So many times the heroines are replaceable, not Everly. She is the kind of heroine that you want to read about.

I laughed and yes, I even cried. Jana Aston blew me away with this second book. I loved Wrong, but I fell in love with Right.

Started out with a bang, went poof in the middle and the drama at the end was just unnecessary.
Jana Aston just pulled a Vi Keeland with the child and I don't like it and I also don't appreciate the way the male lead handled the situation despite his actions being in the best interests of the female lead.

I liked it.

Although I liked it, I do I feel like there is a part of the book missing. We have love at first sight here and so there is no falling in love with each other part, which in normally what I enjoy the most in a romance. We go from having a life long obsession with one guy to being in love with another in the next breath.
There are conexions missing to me. However, the overall story is nice.

Okay. So the heroine is Everly. Named after Beverly Cleary. That right there is a winner, who didn't love Ramona Quimby as a kid? No one, that's who. Dear God, it's Me, Margaret is classic. And Everly is insane in the best way possible. I freaking loved this book. I think Everly is awesome. I think Sawyer is fantastic.

I wish I could go back and experience this book again for the first time. You can. If you haven't already read it. And you should.

3.5⭐️ Read this two weeks ago. Whoopsie, not much stuck with me. Let’s see… Everly was a pistol. Loved the way she stalked Finn (who was absolutely wrong for her), but then Sawyer, Finn’s older brother appeared. I wouldn’t say he out-stalked her, but he had some weirdo moves of his own.

Then…I expected some wooing or even stalkery wooing, but the story went formula on me. 🫠

🌹Thanks to my friend, Lori, for bringing this book to my attention!🌹

After all those disappointing books, I thought to myself, finally a perfect 5 stars! My fingers were itching for the rating part. Then that moment happened! WHY? WHY ME??!!! I kept reading with the hope that there would be a nice groveling, at least I'm sorry for being a dick and hurting your feelings moment. But nada... nada! So here we are with 4.49 stars rounded down to 4 because fuck you for playing with my hopes! *that doesn't mean I'm not fangirling this author from this moment on, because I definitely do! I'll even get us matching t-shirts*

With my whining out of the way, I adored this book! Both the heroine and the hero were awesome! *except that assholisness of the hero and idiotic acceptance of the heroine* Crazy was general theme here and it was hilarious. And sexy! This might be my favourite contemporary romance so far.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

I’m not sure what to think of Sawyer. My first impression is that he’s immature. Yeah he’s pushy and nosey but that’s sort of charming. It’s kind of odd the way he’s quizzing her about her crush on the professor. Plus how hardcore he’s going after her.

Although I’m sure the point is that he’s her male counterpart.

It’s like that old saying; if you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. I’m seriously getting a kick out of her getting as good as she gave. Everly has most definitely met her match.

You know who Everly is? She’s Emma, you know from the Jane Austen book.

One of the best parts of this is Chloe’s reactions to everything Sawyer does. Girl, I’m right there with you. I can’t wait to see what kind of shenanigans he’ll think of next.

My only complaint is how quickly she flipped the script. Literally within seconds she went from wanting nothing to do with him to thinking being with him was inevitable. Mostly I was enjoying their back and forth, her animosity and his cocky attitude.

I mean he’s still freaking adorable! It’s funny how he’s Dr. Miller’s polar opposite but I love him just as much. He’s playful, charming and I’m pretty sure nothing ruffles his feathers. And I like Everly for pretty much the same reasons, because they’re two peas in a pod.

What I love most about Everly is her unending confidence. I’d kill for even an iota of what she had. She’s so sure of herself in every aspect, and it’s especially alluring in the bedroom.

Everly’s mom is a hoot! Between her and Sawyer she’s totally screwed. 🤣

Ok after all the bs that ensued around his birthday, I’m going back to my assumption that he’s immature. And totally annoying!

He’s lucky she’s so accommodating because I certainly wouldn’t be.

Seriously, let this be a learning lesson for anyone wooing a woman. If you want to know everything about her go stalk her Pinterest boards.

Usually it’s the MMC that makes me cry by doing or saying something sweet. This time it was Everly in the epilogue that brought the happy tears. Her heart is so big even if she does shove it down your throat.

Twenty-two-year-old Everly Jensen has been in love with her brother's best friend, Finn, since she was 6. She knows he's the right guy for her and she'll do whatever it takes to make him understand it too... Insane AF things. 😜
But as far as he's concerned, Everly is just the little (creepy) sister of his best friend.

📚 "𝙄 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙙, 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙭-𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧-𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩. 𝙄'𝙢 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙣." 📚

But then, unexpectedly, she meets Sawyer Camden... and (for some reason) this guy likes her just the way she is. 💖
Not only does he appreciate her craziness, he even likes her more because of it ... And that makes her rethink her "plan" for the future... 💍💅

📚 “𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧, 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙮. 𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙜𝙪𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜." 📚

Everly is someone I would like to be best friends with, she's the one that will make you laugh non stop (at her expanse!) 😂😂😂
This girl is simply crazy and I absolutely loved it. Her attitude, her witty and funny answers and her crazy antics. Sawyer was absolutely the perfect guy for her! 💕

If you are in the mood for a crazy, sexy and a bit silly (in a funny way) that's the book for you!!! 😂

This second book in the series follows the unexpected romance between Everly and Sawyer. Now Everly has been madly in love with her brothers best friend Finn since she was a little girl and has planned her whole life around being his wife the only problem is she didn't plan on Finn's older brother Sawyer stalking her like she has been doing to Finn for years, and she didn't plan on falling in love with him either. The story line was interesting and funny, Sawyer is a lovable character and the sex was hot but Everly she was just plain psychotic and scary and I found the conclusion seemed to be rushed. But over-all is was a good read. Narrated by the very talented Erin Mallon (I just love her sexy male voice).

I definitely waited too long to read these books. Everly will go down in history as a favorite heroine. Wish I wasn't on deadline or I'd binge read the rest of the series.

I will say it again after reading this book…..WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???? Why did I wait 7 months to read the 2nd book in this series? I loved the first book in this series WRONG and thought that Everly, who worked with Sophie was absolutely hilarious. I can assure you that she is just as funny if not more so in this book. On top of being one of the funniest characters ever, when it comes to her friends she is really caring. Although some of the things she does are truly wacky they come from her heart and she is only trying to help the people she loves.

I loved the way the book started out. I should have paid attention to how many chapters were like this but the first quarter (at least) of the book it goes back and forth in time. It starts in present day & then flips back & forth even up to a few hours before where it starts.

As funny as this book is it absolutely had emotions and a lot of heart. Along with great chemistry between the two main characters. I love an alpha male and he fit the bill perfectly. I will not be waiting long to read TRUST! I am going to read FLING next though because I need more of Sandra’s and Gabe’s story

Jana Aston has done a spectacular job of blending great storytelling with humor and just the perfect amount of sexy to keep those pages turning. RIGHT is Romantic Comedy at its very best. I fell in love with Everley and the journey of discovering her Mr. Right. 5 Fabulous Stars!
