Many years ago a group of travelers took a doomed trip through Hell, Texas. Not long after their fateful journey, the town was discovered by Texas DPS Trooper Garrett Parker. Garrett was promoted to Texas Ranger as a result of his heroics. Over a decade has passed since that fateful day. Yet something terrible is happening again.
Motorists are vanishing without a trace and now children are disappearing from El Paso in record numbers. Garrett is sent back to the area to investigate. There is no way a town like Hell, Texas could still be functioning, but he can’t help the impending feeling of dread as he Returns to Hell Texas.
Mother of all that is holy! if you like dark, sick, twisted books, then this is your author!! What a great read this was. The terror, the violence and gore kept me on my toes! i even shuddered at a scene, and that never happens. This man is a master mind with his words and i cannot wait to read more from him!
I got to read an advance copy of this story, for free, and let me tell you, this is probably his best book yet!! It is so disgustingly vivid, vile, and vicious, I had to take breaks and watch baby animal videos just to keep sane! Likely Miller's best book to date, though I'll always love the rest. Can be read as a standalone, but is a sequel. I may have to reread Hell, Texas. Hardcore horror at its finest!
Rating 5 out of 5 Hearts **This review is for the audio book edition.**
OMFGosh! Sick, Twisted, and Warped ~ I Love It!!
This second installment of Tim Miller's Hell Texas Series is something else. The more I listen to Mr. Miller's stories of horror ~ the more I fall in Love with his writing style. Crisp, clean, and very picturesque.
The narrator, David Quimby, is Amazing! The way he vividly presents the various character's voices and keeps them straight is outstanding. Gotta Love that in an audio book.
Texas Ranger Garrett Parker returns to Hell, Texas investigating several missing persons and now children, as well. Could it be really happening? Is Hell, Texas up and and running their shenanigans again. Garrett's journey to finding out has just begun.
Holy SNAP! That was not the ending I expected either... It freaked me out... it was better.
I was gifted an audio version of this book by thev author/publisher in exchange for an honest review. No renumeration was involved.
Beyond Offend-able, which, to an Extreme Horror fan = AWESOME! I Love it Many years ago a group of travelers took a doomed trip through Hell, Texas. Not long after their fateful journey, the town was discovered by Texas Trooper Garrett Parker. Garrett, now a Texas Ranger he fears it could happen again (even after a decade). Unknown to him, when the old town was burned to the ground, two escaped to rebuild the town. Then Motorists started vanishing again, only it's not just Mexican descendants this time, but anyone who falls in Hell's shadow, then young children start disappearing from the nearby town. Hell needs new blood, not just to feed the ground, but to carry on, for the town to regrow.
As with the first in this series, it's like Hostel, Saw, and chainsaw massacre rolled in one. Highly Offend-able, which of course meant I loved it!
NOTE: I received a temporary copy of this book as my Monthly Prime Members, Library Loan.
This was a bit different from the first book. There was a bit more of a plot and much less spelling and grammar errors. Miller really knows how to make you squirm and this book has some unforgettable scenes. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be reading more. Make sure to read the first book, and here's hoping a third book will arrive someday.
There was parts of this book that had me covering my mouth. Wow. I had to actually take a break. This is not for the easily offended or the squeamish. This is an amazing book Tim Miller is an excellent author and if you are into the extreme this it's for you. I highly recommend to all fans of modern horror!!!!!!!
I could not put this book down once I started. Very good story, and very gory, but in a good way. If you want blood and guts, then don't not read this book.

"Return to Hell Texas" slightly reminds me of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" on A LOT of steroids. It's pretty sick but if you were to take the gross parts out, this isn't bad writing. There are many places that are hard to listen to.
It's as scary as the title says, especially if you've ever been in that part of the country where there's pretty much nothing. Desolate.
David Quimby's narration was excellent. He's a very versatile voice actor who's able to separate the characters out with ease. Overall, he did a great job with this story.
I was given a copy of this book free of charge by the author, narrator or publisher in exchange for an honest review through Audiobook Boom.
The law enforcement officer who brought down the original town of Hell, Texas returns to investigate when people passing through that area disappear again. This was a good sequel with good horror, but I would like to have seen more character development, especially with Cole and Garrett, and some others. A good ending, but one character who seemed to have perished ought to have survived, and I believe will reappear in the sequel.
I gave this book 5 stars! Because when it comes to extreme horror Tim Miller does more than deliver! If you are not a TRUE extreme horror fan you will not be able to get through this book! This cringe worthy Gore fest will leave you uneasy! I look forward to reading more by him.
I was given an ARC to give a honest review to Return to Hell Texas...OUTSTANDING! Tim has got his game on full blast. I read this in about a hour because I did not want to put it down. I don't do spoilers, but you WILL NOT be disappointed!
Loved the sequel to Hell Texas, well executed. I have to admit a few parts had me questioning why I was reading this, than came to my sences , I read it because it is a brilliant if not sick piece of writing. I hope there is another book.
The story was great. I read it all in one sitting. But I was disappointed with the ending. I can't say more without spoiling it for others but I was wanting something entirely different.
Return to Hell Texas was just as great as the first. It's going to be crazy now that they are spreading out rather then staying in one spot. I wasn't expecting some things in the book which made it that much more interesting.
I greatly disliked this book. This was not a book of extreme horror, it was a book of extreme gore. This was ridiculously gross, not intended to scare as in horror, but just intended to be disgusting.
This book was given to me for free by Audioboom in exchange for an honest review.
Really enjoyed going back to Hell, Texas... Can't wait to see if Tim Miller has more terrors instored for us in The United States of Hell. Getting ready to read another book now.
Fantastic once again! Thank you Tim Miller for another gut wrenched...stomach turning puke fest! Loved every second of it. Entertaining without a doubt.
