Beautiful photos, and I love the idea of the book. I advocate doing your own research before internalizing or bathing or putting on your skin, since crystals and stones can be toxic. Some will also fade in the sun, dissolve in water, or get ruined by salt. Always do your own research with your woo.

Though she mentions her skin care line often, the reader also receives elixir recipes for at home care, incorporating said gemstones and crystals with resources as where to find them. This is a great resource as an introduction to the benefits of crystals, gemstones and stones or natural skin care.

*4.5 - I was expecting this book to go more in depth as to how the vibrations and energy in crystals work but it focussed largely on different types of crystals and how to use them. The photos in this book are stunning!

I picked up this book prior to a trip to Sedona to tap into the New Age crystal vibe. It's has beautiful pictures and would serve as a fantastic coffee table book. Also, my boyfriend was curled up next to me when I happened to start reading the "stones to wear" chapter... quite convenient

My mother actually got this for me this for me for my birthday. I have been dying to get my hands on this book and learn more about crystals in any way I could. Reading this book was a great way to understand crystals more and feel closer to my mother with her love for crystals. So in a way this crystal has made my mother and I closer.



I think my favorite part about reading this book was reading about the spa and bath part. Lots of mask recipes and not to mention there's a body scrub that sounds amazing to try! As someone who is always looking to make my time in the bath more pleasurable and give me relief from stress, these recipes seem perfect to try out! Needless to say, I'm excited to give them and try and see how they turn out.



Another thing I really love about this book is the beginning of this book. It goes into the background of specific crystals and stones. It even goes into the details of where the stones and crystals come from. For me, that's amazing! It provides information and facts for the readers right off the bat in case they don't know anything about where the crystals and stones come from or how they're formed. I love the author included this because it makes people aware of the science and natural process of the creation of them. It makes the flow of this book easier and it makes things clearer for the reader to understand things further in the book.



A really good thing to point out with this book is just how informative it is. It really goes into deep detail for the readers so they get the full picture of how everything should be executed. With everything in the book, the readers can pick specific things they want out of this book, follow the details and instructions, and end up with the product or end results like the book describes. Very well written and so easily to follow.



All in all this book was fantastic and I can't wait to start using the recipes in this book! It also makes me want to redo my entire house with how gorgeous some of these photos are! Ugh, yes please! But, I think every crystal lover needs to have a copy of this book in their lives. Such a good read and the details are great!
