Julia, your stereotypical librarian was heading to Las Vegas to meet her girlfriends when she runs out of gas and walked into BIG-TIME T-R-O-U-B-L-E ! Did someone mention running a train? YEP... Oh, yes ... T-R-O-U-B-L-E! Fortunately, Boss aka David, the President of said MC always got first dibs on everything and took the frighten Julia to his room upstairs. Julia was in tears and heard "Boss'' out and all is well until one things leads to another, kiss here started by Julia, touch there started by them both and then and then... the heat was on!
Frankly, I enjoyed this short story but for me I also need more narrative and even more dialogue between the H/h. I like the way Julia let her control issues go while also managing to forgot about that poor excuse of an ex. David told her from the beginning that he was not a good man but he made her ex look like a very pleasing and exceptional man in a cut. True David and Julia were exact opposites but in this story they were just perfect together.
So if you like a very blunt and manly alpha man who was dominant, possessive and sex on a stick to only one woman but ruthless when confronted with mess or disloyalty, I suggest you read Biker Romance: Hard!

I did receive this short story book as an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
The 1st story, Biker Romance: Hard, our main character decides to travel across a few states from Texas to Nevada. Now, that's a 2 day drive just in itself. Her being a female and traveling alone, is not the safest thing at all to be doing.
She runs outta gas, and walks 8 miles to a biker bar. At which she first enters and "Pig Killer" wants to "Run a Train on Her, Boys!" I would have been running out the door by then. However, the President of the club comes to her rescue, and locates her back to his room. He does seem to take very good care of her and protects her.
The 2nd story, LSD, was about drug usage, and what people see in each other and what people feel with each other. The two main characters seem to have known each other awhile and be in love with each other. Not totally sure how they are with each other when they are not high on drugs. But, they do care for one another.
The 3rd story, Her Dominance, was about a female character who was living with a military man. However, as he died in battle, and they weren't married she didn't receive any of his benefits or pay. This turned her life into a downward spiral. Eighteen years down the road, we find the female character gets a job offer, from an other friend and actually sounds like it would be a very good offer for her to get back on her feet! However, this isn't the case. She does meet another military member and they have a relationship. We don't find out what his age is or if she's older or not than him. This had the start of great story, it could be expanded into a full length novel in itself.

While I love reading MC stories with a strong alpha male and a great leading lady, there was just kind of a disconnect for me with this one. I understand it is a very short story, but certain things did not seem to flow or make sense.
Julia is the good girl librarian on her way to Vegas for a good time with her friends. After having car trouble and stumbling upon a biker bar, she thinks she'll be able to get help and get back on the road. But boy is she wrong.
For me the disconnect occurs with how she is described at the beginning, how she acts when she's alone, how she is when confronted with scary bikers, and then how she is after their leader gets a hold of her. I think this story would have been great as an actual novel where there could have been a slower build with getting to know the characters and the drama that unfolds to reach the HEA, but it was just like reading cliffs notes for a book. Too much like reading the summarizing of a story and not really getting to enjoy the great story. I'm all for a quick erotic read, but when you're trying to add a deeper story into it, I don't feel like it worked with less than 100 pages.

Well, this is my first book by this author, I normally don't read MC stories but this one was pretty engaging, Julie was out of gas in her car in the middle of nowhere during a storm, after walking for miles she finally is able to find a place to ask for help, but good god, that place is not what she thought. Suddenly she is in the middle of a very bad situatión she thinks she wouldn't get out, but one handsome man rescue her and stole her heart.
David is pretty good in making her feel safe. He has some really good manners, and it's a really good lover.

To quick, to over the top with instant I love you' s, no connection with the characters or the story. Even novellas need a good story and this wasn't one. I mean heck there really wasn't a story at all.. girl gets stranded, girl in trouble, meets bikers, sleeps with leader and boom I love you's all around and leaving her librarian life behind, all in two days. WTF?!? Then, end of story riding off into the sunset, blah not for me sorry. Gifted this book for an honest review.

Julie ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. She enters a bar with a lot of bikers. But there is no help there only scary bikers. When she think that all hope is lost the leader turns op. Is there still hope for her .

Weak- I've read short stories before so that's not an excuse, this one lacked everything. Character development, plot, a beginning middle and end. It was weak and so was the "alpha". I got billions???? Ok yeah right.
