He’s the club enforcer. She was the Homecoming Queen. Fifteen years ago they shared a reckless night together that changed everything.
Brax - As enforcer for the Great Wolves MC, bloody hands and deadly force were just another Tuesday in my world. I’m not sorry. I’m not on some quest for redemption. Sometimes it takes a monster to fight off something even worse and sleep tight . . . you need me to be that monster. But when Nicole walked back into my life asking for my help, she stirred things in me I like to keep buried. She was a one-night stand I’ll never forget. She brought me light when it’s better if I keep to the darkness. And now she’s offered me the one thing I want from her if I agree to help her. Her body.
It’s dangerous to owe me something because I always collect.
Nicole - When we were eighteen, Brax was everything people warned me about. Ink and leather. Smolder and sin. I was everything people expected me to be. Homecoming Queen. Straight A student. College bound. But, one night when my life fell apart, Brax was the only thing that held me together. Stolen kisses. Forbidden passion. He made me feel alive. I’ve lived with the memory of that night and what he ignited in me for fifteen years. Now my world’s come crashing down all over again and he’s the only one I can turn to for help.
But, the price he’s named is me.
***This is a standalone, full length romance novel involving the men of the Great Wolves M.C. Each book is interconnected and part of a series, but they can be read in any order and DO NOT contain cliffhangers. They DO contain dark themes and elements***
Wow what can I say. This series is smoking. They guys are still trying to clean up their town. When a face from Brax's past comes looking for help he is torn.

I was given an ARC by the author for an honest review Jayne Blue - I was incredibly honored and thrilled to receive a very early copy of her new book Brax
I almost didn't read this, but I'd been interested in Brax since Kellan's book so I decided to give this series one more shot. Now I'm torn because this book was a lot better than the others by far, so much so that I'm willing to give the series yet ANOTHER chance.
One of my biggest complaints with this series is the insta-love. The heros know the heroines for merely weeks before they pop the question. And that bugs. However the positive of this series is that the stories are interesting, enough to forgive some of my bigger peeves and keep me from dismissing this series altogether.
Brax and Nicole already have a history, which I think helped. Not that there was much to that history to warrant unrequited love and all that, but still. The drama in this book felt a lot more real than some of the others and the characters not nearly as annoying than some of the previous ones. I still feel like these stories build up to a climax that just isn't interesting. Blink and it's over. Luckily in this book, it was more of a subplot so it worked in its favor.
I'm probably being generous by giving this four stars, but after absolutely hating the last book in the series, this was refreshing. We'll see how the others turn out.
Thank the Lord that this book was back to the normal style of writing from the first 4 books. I've liked Brax from our first intro so it was good to get his story. Nicole is quite the lady - very strong and just what he needs. She was much kinder to her brother than I would have been - LOSER!!!!!
"When it was so late it became early, I'd drawn my knees up to my chest and sat in the middle of my childhood canopy bed alone. I'd wanted Brax to hold me like this. Not my father. No one else. I'd wanted Brax."
I just love a good, quick fun, entertaining romance. If it's an MC romance, the book can take my heart any day. I'm a sucker for Motorcycle Club romance.
The romance was quick and adorable. Love the chemistry and the plotline. I wish there was more growling and wish Nicole gave Brax a harder time than she really gave him.
"This wasn't fifteen years ago. Back then, we could both afford to be a little reckless. Now though? We were grown-ups. I didn't know her story anymore. She'd been Daddy's little princess. Got all the good grades and the scholarships. Nothing bad ever happened to people like Nicole Ridley. I was the baddest thing she'd ever tangled with. Neither of us had lived long enough to have strings attached yet. Now we did."
I just loved Brax. This series has only gotten better and better. The books are much better read in order so you can know the cast of characters. I felt like book one and two sex scenes were too similar in wording, pacing, description, but I loved the characters so I stuck with it. Good call on my part because it has only gotten better and better.
BRAX by Jayne Blue is one of the outstanding books in the Great Wolves MC series! I love these guys!!! Wish I'd discovered Jayne Blue sooner, but I'm a fan now for sure! I can't wait to read more and have just purchased the next three books in this series. This is a five 🌟read!
This series is smoking. They guys are still trying to clean up their town. Brax's past high school book up comes looking for his after 15 years apart. After his club votes no circumstances change and she gets the help she needs and they go d their happily ever after.
Absolutely loved Brax and Nicole's story it was real and raw. Storyline flowed from beginning to end. I have to say Brax is my favorite Great Wolve. Happy Reading
I. Love. Brax. And Nicole. And their story. I've read this entire series, and the books just keep getting better. This one actually brought me to tears, but the were the good kind :-) You know how sometimes you finish a book and you just feel content inside? Kind of like warm fuzzys, but better? Well, this one did that to me. I don't know if “warm fuzzys” is the right way to talk about a book about biker and his lady, but hey, I know a fuzzy when I feel one. As “The Enforcer” of the Great Wolves Motorcycle Club, we've met Brax before, but he's always pretty much been cold and hard as stone. That's what he has to be, with the job he has to do. But we find out Brax has a heart buried in there, and it's a good one. Nicole is an old high school classmate. While he is leather, she is lace – the good girl, homecoming queen, cheerleader, and girl who grows up to run her family's Ice Cream Parlor. She wears one of those itty-bitty pink polyester uniforms that snap up the front. Yeah, talk about an odd couple. They had a one night fling back in High School. But life hasn't been all peaches and cream for Nicole. She's had a lot of difficult issues she's had to deal with in her family. It's one of those issues that brings her looking for Brax, fifteen years later, looking for help. And what happens after is what makes up the meat and potatoes of this story. After all, this IS a biker story. Of course there's going to be trouble. But you'll have to read that part for yourself. By the way, this book can easily be read as a stand-alone. While it helps to know a little about the Motorcycle Club and its leaders, the basics that you need for this story are all included. I loved the creative names for some of the ice cream flavors, like Peanut Butter Hopscotch, Pirate's Plunder, and Cherrie Razzie. Minor details, but they add some smiles along the way. This book is so well written and everything about it flowed just right. The sex scenes are hot as h..., but there's also a good amount of heartfelt emotion, beautifully expressed, too. I can't think of anything I didn't like about this book. It's going to be harder to top than whipped cream and cherries. I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I received this for a honest review. I just love MC books and Jayne Blue did an amazing job with this book. This book was about two people that were raised from two different sides of the track. Nicole Ridley had her future laid out before her growing up where Brax Anderson was not so lucky. Oh, don’t get me wrong he was a smart man and even smart growing up. He was unwanted and unloved growing up and those around him did not really realize how smart he truly was.
Though Nicole was giving a chance to go to college that did not mean she had it easy later on. When things went upside down for the Ridley family and Nicole’s brother needed someone to take care of him, well Nicole was there. She left college, took over her father’s business, and tried hard to play parent to her younger brother. She was really given a bad hand when it came to her brother. Doug Riley was a handful. He was hanging with a bad crowd and in some dangerous things. He was hitting rock bottom fast.
Brax Anderson was this handsome biker. He was the enforcer for the Great Wolves M.C. He had to live a hard life. But the town would not be what it was without the Great Wolves M.C. See the Great Wolves keep the crime down. They tried to keep drugs out of their town especially the hard stuff. Now the Great Wolves MC was trying to go legit so when Nicole walked into the Den wanting Brax’s help to find her brother he had to tread carefully.
I loved reading about Brax and Nicole. I loved the way he so wanted to protect her from all the trouble that Doug was bring on his sister’s door step. Brax and Nicole will have some challenges. Brax will have to work for Nicole’s trust and Brax will have to be convinced that he is worthy of Nicole’s love.
Brax, the club enforcer for the Lincolnshire GWMC, is left in charge while Colt and Kellan take their wives to Florida to check out another GWMC branch and get some prospects. One night while at the Den a woman walks back into this life looking to take him up on a promise he made to her 15 years ago.
Nicole is in over her head when dealing with the trouble that is constantly following her little brother around. This time it seems he's in too deep, but she doesn't know with who or what. Asking for massive amounts of money again, she's fed up and desperate for help. She seeks out Brax, hoping he'll remember the promise he made to her. Only thing is, Brax and his club have gone legit, so he wants nothing to do with her money, or the possible trouble it could bring down on the club. She offers up the only thing she has left to give, herself.
Brax tries to push her away, but after sharing a fiery kiss they haven't had for 15 years, he ends up offering to look into it for her. They slowly get pulled back into each other's lives, neither knowing how it's going to go, or what to expect. Brax is afraid of his dark side bringing down Nichole, but she seems to be fully aware of what type of life he has led during their time apart, and she's made of stronger stuff than that.
Jayne does it again with yet another suspenseful book full of surprises I didn't see coming! One thing happens towards the end that I'm hoping will lead to a book about another character I've been dying to read more about ;-) Fifteen years apparently did nothing to put out the flames between Brax and Nichole. You get sucked in right away with the first few pages. Their story is definitely a steamy read!

Brax Great Wolves M.C. by Jayne Blue
Brax is club enforcer for the Great Wolves MC. He doesn't apologise for what his done in the past or asks to be rescued. He is what he is...that is until Nicole walks back into his life. Fifteen years ago she was Homecoming Queen and he was a trouble maker, they shared a night together he has never forgotten. She is the light to his dark. And when Nicole walks back into his life asking for his help, offering him the one thing he craves most, does he accept or will he walk away.
Nicole was eighteen the last time she saw him and that was fifteen years ago. He was ink and leather. Smolder and sin. And I was the expected Homecoming Queen. Straight A student. College bound. But one night with stolen kisses and forbidden passion he changed me. He made me feel alive and I've lived with that memory for fifteen years. Now with her world crashing down, he's the only person she can turn to for help. She knows owing Brax something is dangerous because he always collects, especially when his named his price....her.
Brax is the 6th book in the Great Wolves MC series and a really enjoyable book. The storyline was engaging and entertaining. Brax and Nicole are tough, gritty, fiery headstrong characters. I loved their chemistry and they made a really cute couple. This story was filled with action, romance and humor. A really enjoyable read!
This book is about Braxton, the enforcer of the Great Wolf MC & Nicole, the owner of a local ice cream parlor. Nicole and Braxton have history that goes back 15 years to their high school days when they had a one night stand but they have lived in two different worlds since then.
Nicole goes to Brax to help her drug addicted brother get out of serious trouble with a rival MC gang who are into selling drugs. The Great Wolf MCers tell Brax they can't get involved, and Nicole's brother ends up getting into more trouble. In the midst of this chaos, Brax and Nicole find love.
One thing I like about the author's books is that she tends to highlight a social issue in each book, and does so in a very realistic way. She has addressed substance abuse, human trafficking, and developmentally disabled adults to name a few. She also doesn't sugar coat the lives of the MC's. Yes, they are trying to go legit but she shows how hard it is to get away from their past and they invariably have their feet in both worlds. As always, the sex scenes are smoldering and sensual but I really love to watch the dance of romance that each couple does.
Another good read. I hope we get to return to the MC club in California where the series began, I like all the books but Sly is my favorite, followed by Colt and Dex. It would be cool to have a book reunite the three of them: yummy! I also look forward to reading Jase's story.
I don't think Ms. Blue can write a bad story. I can honestly say I have enjoyed all her books (with a special penchant for the Great Wolves MC) and of all the authors I read, she NEVER disappoints! Brax's story is the next chapter of the Great Wolves MC. It takes place in Lincolnshire and is a wonderful second-chance love story. An old friend/flame Nicole needs Brax's help, her brother Doug is in trouble and has definitely bit off more than he can chew. Brax wants to help but is torn between his feelings for Nicole and the Club. What happens in this book is a wild ride of suspense and romance. I liked the heroine, Nicole...she is a strong, independent heroine! I don't think Ms. Blue writes them any other way and that is one of the reasons I love her books. The heroine does NOT need to be doormat in order to make the hero an alpha. Brax, is a complex, dark yet loveable hero. The combination of the two makes for a wonderful MC and love story. The story of Nicole and Brax is awesome, and the plot to find Doug and help him get out of trouble didn't disappoint I would recommend reading ALL the books from the Great Wolves series because even though this can be read as a stand-alone, you get a better sense of the characters if you read them in order. I ;highly recommend this and all the Great Wolves MC books! A MUST READ!
I loved Torrid & signed up Jayne Blue’s website and I was lucky to receive *free ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review* This book mentions Colt, Kellan, Sawyer & Dex from previous books it also talks about the club going legit through the GW Gym’s GW Club House. 15 years have passed since BRAX Anderson the enforcer for the GW MC last seen Nicole but he has never forgotten her. He feels he’s not good enough for her after all the things he has had to do for the club. Nicole walks into his club and she needs a massive favour to get her brother out of deep trouble he’s got himself into. She offers money but he wants her instead. NICOLE Ridley was the homecoming queen good girl that had a night of forbidden passion with Brax but has never forgotten him. Nicole’s life hasn’t been easy since she last saw Brax. She runs the family ice cream parlour. Her brother’s trouble is bigger than she ever thought which in return causes her trouble. Will this be the best thing to happen for both of them? Will there be a HEA?
Loved Brax - he is so hot!! He makes the ice cream melt.
Brax was the ultimate bad boy at school he settled most of his problems with his fists. Now working as an enforcer for The Den, Its run by the Great Wolves Biker Crew together they are trying making the tough neighbourhood a safer place to live. As they run their gyms and clubs. The leather clad security crew are proudly protecting the town.
Nicole is at the end of her rope juggling the Parlour, finally making a profit after her Dad's financial blunders. Now,Her brother Doug is in trouble again, she suspects he's involved with something seedy. Nicole turns to Brax pleading for his help, she is desperate to find and try to help her younger brother. The reunion between the local bad boy and the home coming queen is scorching hot! A great action packed story.
Each of the Great Wolves books follow a different crew member, although all the books are linked together, they are easily read as standalone complete stories. No cliffhanger endings.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Nicole Ridley is looking for help with her brother Doug. She's turning to the one person who promised her to help whenever she asked Brax Anderson. Brax Anderson is The Enforcer for The Great Wolves MC. He's done many things he's not proud for the good of the club. He just wants to carve out a peace for himself. He's floored when Nicole Ridley walks back into his life again after fifteen years. Brax agrees to look into how to help her. Little did Brax know Nicole's request is going to turn his world upside down and thensome. Can Brax help Nicole? Can Brax admit his feelings for Nicole? Will Nicole admit her feelings for Brax? Your answers await you in Brax.
I'm really loving this series. The characters and story so remind me of reading a Kristen Ashley book. I'm eager for the next book in this awesome series. I love the author's writing style! The names for the characters and story are priceless.
**I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review from the author.**
This is the story of Nicole the small town business owner and homecoming queen. Brax is enforcer for Great Wolves M.C. and high school bad boy. One night 15 years ago, still haunts both their memories. She needs his help with her brother who is seriously jammed up with drugs. He will be her protector and her destiny. She will be the one to help him heal and accept his brutal past. The story is well written and character development is amazing. I can say that while there is sex in the story it is not as bold as it us in the other books about the Great Wolves.
received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review.
Brax and Nicole attended the same high school but walked in different circles, they only had one night. Now 15 years later Nicole's brother is in trouble and she turns to Brax for help. Will they be able to pick up where they left off or will it all be water under the bridge. I loved this book, the lenghts in which Nicole goes to protect her brother, but it also shows her strength and fortitude. Brax oh my protective much, I wanted to smack him a couple times, but I understand where he was coming from. I would have liked to know more about Jase a minor character, hope he gets his own book. This book will reel you in from the first word to the last
I just love the Great Wolves MC series of books and Brax's story was excellent, he's so sexy, Nicole was nice too, but did I mention that Brax was as hot as hell, mmm. I think this book has been my favourite so far, but I thought that with Sawyer and Kellan oh and Dex and Colt, the truth is I loved them all. Brax and Nicole were great characters and I was pulled into their story from the first page, it had it all sex, violence, drugs, hot bikers and ice cream sundaes, ahhh perfect! I would highly recommend.

Nicole Ridley's brother is in trouble, so she goes to the one man she knows that may be able to help. Brax Anderson is the enforcer for the Great Wolves MC, and as much as he would like to help, there is little he can do for Nicole or her brother. When Nicole's life is put in danger, Brax and the MC step in, but it may be too little to late. Exciting, suspenseful and sizzling hot characters, with a well developed and intricate plot. Loved this book!
An ARC was given to me for an honest review. This is a fun sexy entertaining read about the enforcer for the Great Wolves MC. He has always done what's necessary to keep his club safe. A young lady he hooked up with once in high school asks him for help with her junkie brother. Seeing her again reminds him of the feelings he still has for her and the promise he made her. Enjoy I did.
Thanks so much Ms. Blue. I'm in so deep with these MC's, makes me want my own kut. Brax is a very tall glass of water and bad boy all the way. Nicole is homecoming queen... Years later, they meet again and the matter is a real issue, but do those sparks fly or what... If you love bad boys doing good things who deserve a chance, here you go.
Jayne Blue wrote another great story! The story was well written and easily held my interest. Brax and Nicole were great together with HOT chemistry! Looking forward to the next installment in this series.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Brax is clueless that his coldness is no match against Nicole's devotion. Brax and Nicole tantalize in Jayne Blue's continuation of the Great Wolves MC saga. A must read for those that like suspenseful erotica. 4 stars
DNF I must say I read 70%of the book and the last 30 page I couldn't read. it's not bad book but i didn't read previous books so I was a bit lose, and it not typically MC and I didn't connect with H and h and their story.
Another great addition to this series. This was an exciting, keep you on the edge of your seat, thrilling ride to go on. Brax and Nicole have history, are opposites, but their connection, and chemistry is palpable. I enjoyed everything about this book.
