Well written page turner

I seldom read serials but I actually bought the second book and just finished it. The author very keenly makes characters who are surprising in their depth. Richard, for example, is enjoying an arc of growth, gaining wisdom and compassion as he struggles into in an unanticipated leadership role. Too much description will spoil it and I do hope others read the series. It's worth buying. A few typos are sprinkled here and there but the books are so good I just whipped past them, in a hurry to get through the intriguing story.

Continuing the story

The story develops, and the characters develop. I would say this is a pretty good story that reads quickly and makes you want to keep on.

Good story

This was a well written short story that had great character development. The two main characters interacted well together and there was an interesting twist at the end! Would read more from this author!
