Ted Dekker is known for novels that combine adrenaline-laced stories with unexpected plot twists, unforgettable characters, and incredible confrontations between good and evil. Ted lives in Austin with his wife LeeAnn and their four children.
This book does a good job of applying the material in the sister chapters of The Forgotten Way. Sometimes I thought the Study Guide had a better explanation than the main book. The questions for each chapter make for good thought, but honest answers may be uncomfortable in a group one doesn’t trust.
This study guide is the companion to: The Forgotten Way Meditations. You read them together. The meditations (see my review) is for learning and reflection. The study guide is for notes and scriptural references.
The guide goes well with the meditations. My favorite things about it were the additional material provided and the probing journal questions. However, if you're not a journaler, don't worry about getting the guide. All of the wonderful Scripture references included in the guide (which are a substantial portion of it) are included in the back of The Forgotten Way Meditations book.
