Tempted by the Tiger
It's been a year since the rescue operation launched against the lions' compound of horrors, and not only is Kylie no closer to finding out the fate of her parents, but she soon learns that the lions are close to finding the location of her mother's clan, pushing Hunter and her to leave for Great Britain to search for the clan's location and a person from her mother's past in order to warn them. However, after two weeks pass without so much as a text from the couple, Maxim Clarke follows in their wake where it soon becomes apparent that he isn't the only one interested in finding his missing friends, nor is he as recovered from the tragedy of what happened to Anna as he had thought.

It was great to see Maxim be open to love again, and really enjoyed character of his love interest Thea. Although author was trying to create British dialogue because the story was set partially in London, England, I found the sprinkling of British'isms' (ie knackered, wanker, having a kip, etc.) in dialogue annoying. My husband's a Brit, so not sure if the speech patterns did not work for me via the character's social class, etc. or if it felt like the author was trying too hard in this area...
Still gave story 3 stars and looking forward to resolution of plot threads in next book.

Kylie and Hunter are in London and are missing. Maxim gas come to find them and help the shifters in England with the Lion problem. Maxim meets The a and his world change. Will he find Kylie and Hunter and be able to rescue? Will Maxim find love again? Great story.

Hunter and Kylie go to Great Britain looking for the clan of Polyshifters and her parents. After 2 weeks of no contact Maxim decides to go and find them. This one is so intense. Kidnappings, murder, beatings and so much fear. They are all hurting. Really good book

Tempted by a Tiger
Maxium's loss when Anna didn't recover from her injuries when she was held by the lion shifters really hit him hard. Going to London to rescue Hunter and Kylie beings him out a little. Highly recommend reading. On to the next book.

Couldn't put it down loved the characters and the storyline and can't wait to read more in this series so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone

I enjoyed this story but probably not because of the tiger (as the title suggests), but more the emotional aspect that brought me along for the ride. I could sense the urgency in finding Hunter and getting Kylie to wake up. I look forward to the next book.

terrific Shifter Romance
Ok this the 4th book in this Shifter Romance series that has a lot of action and danger and smut. I recommend that you start at the beginning so that you can follow the story line better. I think it is very absorbing and I enjoyed all of it

Tempted by the Tiger is book #4 of the Riverford shifters paranormal romantic suspense series.
This book follows on from the storyline of book #2 (book #3 is a novella about a minor character). To get the most from the series I would suggest reading books #1 & #2 before this one. Now a year after the daring rescue mission of missing shifters from the experimental Lion compound in Texas, Kylie is still no nearer finding her mother.
News that the Lion clans are moving in on the British polyshifter communities, makes it more essential for Kylie to head to Great Britain and warn her mother's clan. With little contact information Kylie and Hunter set off for London, but after two weeks of no news, Maxim believes they may have been caught by the lions and he follows them across the Atlantic.
In London Maxim soon finds news of a dramatic chase near the London Eye and his concerns about Kylie and Hunter are confirmed. Local shifters make him welcome, but he finds Kylie in a coma and Hunter missing. Working with Thea, a cousin of Kylie's, Maxim must work out another rescue plan to save those that are dear to him.
The thriller theme of this series is still well written and the romance for Maxim was well deserved. As a native of Great Britain, some of the "English" dialogue was a little over done and clichèd, while Londoners celebrate New Year in Trafalgar Square, not Parliament Square and some of the driving and airport pick up scenes aren't quite right in detail. These are minor errors which are unlikely to be picked up by the main American audience for this series, but grated a little for me.

we join maxim in this story as he sets out for london. kylie and hunter had gone there under the guise of a school break but after a few days nothing is heard from them. having some connections in london, maxim travels and hopes to find both of the youngsters. the video that is found online, unclear as it is for the human eye, is clear enough for all of them to understand something serious has happened and action must be taken.
as maxim tries is his best to locate both of them, it's clear that many pawns are in motion and things have to be done very carefully. they get a tip from someone that claims she's seen one of them. as it turns out this person knows a whole lot more then she's letting on. she brings them to kylie, thinking keeping her off grid, out of a hospital was the best route.his own tiger chooses this time to develop a one track mind but his grieve is holding him back. as they unravel the mystery of where is hunter is, things between them grow hotter and more intense.
wonderful installment in this series. we're a bit closer to finding out what the lions have planned. in this part we learn they have much more planned then they thought!
as things come to a high some choices need to be made and it was nice to be in on that process.

Another good book with its twists and turns, dangerously unhealthy with life threatening torture, with action that leaves you right on the edge of your seat wanting more.
Ms. Rayne has you hooked and your in for the long hall this being Book 4 we could keep going.

In book 4 of the Riverford Shifters, we find that Kylie has yet to find the answers she seeks after 1 year. Now they discover she may find some answers in Great Britain, so she goes there with her soon to be mate Hunter to seek answers, but disappear before they can do so.
Maxim takes off for Great Britain to search for his friends. Maxim is still very traumatized by the death of his mate 1 year before at the hands of the house of horrors run by the lions. He meets Thea, Kylie's cousin and is very hesitant, he feels broken and unable to ever be a proper mate to any woman. He feels he will be unfaithful to his dead love and afraid his tiger spirit which is ever at the forefront trying to take over will do so and hurt Thea.
Thea a polyshifter is immediately attracted to the handsome tiger Maxim, but she senses a deep sadness in the powerful man Will her easy going ways and strength win over the might tiger, or will she forever wonder what it would have been like, after all he'll be leaving for the States as soon as they can find and rescue Kylie and Hunter.
I can't wait to read the next suspenseful story in this series.

I was given a copy of 'Tempted by the Tiger' from Cristina, in exchange for an honest review.
WOW what can I say? I was quickly enthralled in the life of Kylie Moore once again & what a suspense filled journey occurs. I couldn't put it down, being kept on the edge of my seat, such an action packed read, full of twists & turns, shifters galore & loads of new information. 'Tempted by the Tiger" is book 4 of the "Riverford Shifters" series.
After everything that had happened in the previous books in the series, I was excited to start this book & Cristina added so much more to the series, especially with the new information about Polyshifters. I can't wait to read what comes next in the series.

Awesome. This is the 1st book I've read in this series, it was so interesting I'll have to go to the beginning. Maxim hasn't been the same since he lost his fiancee; even though they get quite a few people away from the Lions. He sends Kylie and her mate Hunter to London to find her mother's clan to try and warn them about the Lions. After not hearing from them Maxim goes to London. He finds a wounded Kylie with Henry and Thea. As Maxim and Thea work to find Hunter and figure out what the Lions are doing, he feels guilty for being attracted to Thea. Lots going on. Must read. They get their HEA but there is so much more to read about. When will the next book be out????

Maxim goes to see if he can find any trace to when they are and what happened to them. Uncovering a bigger plot the Lions have in the process. Maxim is still holding on to his own sanity by a thread as well. This is a very exciting a d entertaining story to read. Looking forward to the next book in the series of self-contained stories.

Once again the author has outdone herself. She has captured great imagination and chemistry in this story-line. This is a great addition to the series. Maxim and Thea are the hero and heroine in this book. They have a steamy romance while facing action packed spine chilling danger. The characters are engaging, funny, heart-warming and sexy. Great shifter romance read!

I loved the first two books but I didnt like their abrupt, cliffhanger endings. The shifters of all different types make this shifter romance and chase really enjoable.
