Well researched and well written from a sympathetic but non anarchist veiw point. If you're familiar with David Miller from his writings on "liberal nationalism" you'll find these ideas expressed in embryo in his conclusion. For me this was the weakest part of the book, but only a very minor part. Miller has researched the theory and history of Anarchism in depth and provides a fair and balanced assessment.
