"Vodka, fast cars and movies--that you could sell. Insurance. For what?" It's not Armageddon. There are no meteorites. No evil aliens. No warfare of any kind. But no one is being born. What would the world be like if people could not have babies anymore? Just what would the last generation... do? Feel how it is being part of... The Last Generation. It's not the end of the world, just the end of us.

It is an interesting read and makes the reader really think. I enjoyed the epilogue.

The Last Generation, promised more than it delivered and delivered too much which was peripheral to the central story. Although the wanderings into the minds of random people in this world of infertility shone some light on others experiences, it did nothing to further the central premise.

A pale reflection of Atwood's Handmaids Tale, it fell into the clichéd post apocalyptic potholes of cults, drugs and rock and roll references. So much potential unrealised.
