I can see fifteen year old me, scratch that, fifteen year old me was reading Agatha Christie and James Patterson, eleven year old me reading this book and liking it very much. But now more than ten years later, I have some issues with it.
Firstly, I have to say that the plot itself wasn't something I didn't like. It was enjoyable enough that if I was rating only that criteria I would give it more stars.
Now let's move to the issues I have with this book.
This might be only the translated version, but the language was so simple. I know it's a book meant for younger readers yet I think more complex sentences could be used nevertheless. Most of the book is written in simple sentences and I can't stress enough how much this bothered me. To the point I almost stopped reading it and return it to the library immediately.
Another thing I'm too big of a fan is when there was a conversation between two or more people and one of them was saying something and then instead of just saying saying the word she/he said #word. Do we really use hastags in conversations? Or maybe younger generations do, who knows?
I like the idea of tips for making your own youtube channel/vlogs, but since I don't plan on doing that like ever, I didn't read those.
