Cocky Caleb has never really had it easy, but lately, things have taken an extreme turn for the worse. Jill comes from a large family with six siblings, including an identical twin. She was raised in the Pacific Northwest and later relocated to Colorado for college and a successful IT career before discovering her talent for writing sweet and sexy page-turners. After Colorado, she decided to move south, living in Texas and now making her home along the Emerald Coast of Florida. You will find that the settings of several of her series are inspired by her time spent living in these areas. She has two sons and off-set the testosterone in her house by adopting three furry little ladies that provide her company while she’s locked in her writing cave. She enjoys heading to the beach, hiking, swimming, wine-tasting, and pickleball with her husband, and of course writing. If you have read any of her books, you may also notice that there is a love of food, especially sweets! She has been blamed for a few added pounds by her assistant, editor, and fans… donuts or pie anyone?
I really like this series by this author. She creates fully fleshed out characters so that you can not only perfectly visualize them, but you feel like you really know them. While each book can be read on it's own, reading the series from the first book through the series just helps build the community and people more fully for you. This book was even better than the last. It was edgier than previous books as it had a active criminal case interwoven throughout the story line. It was very entertaining and enjoyable read with a bit of steamy romance to turn up the heat. I would definitely recommend, not only this book, but the entire series. If you like community series books like the Cedar Cove books, Fool's Gold Books and others, then you will love this series as well. I received this book in advance in exchange for an honest review. I honestly think that if you like a good romance/community type series, then you will like this book and the others in the series.
Caleb is on the run from his past that has finally caught up to him and the only person that can help him is Billy Blake only one problem with that....Billy died years ago and Caleb doesn't know.
Willow is Wendy's younger sister. The sister that Wendy raised after Willow's mom went to jail and their father was always on the road with the outlaw bikers that he ran with. Willow always loved her father and always believed the best of him even when Wendy tried to tell her otherwise, Willow never let her love for her father falter. After he passed away years earlier she still held him in her heart and felt more for him then she did for her mother, whom was now out of jail.
Caleb in his quest to find Billy turns to Willow for help. Little did he know that just changed the direction of where he was going. How could he think after seeing the sweet, sweet Willa that he would be able to leave her and not be affected. Why is it that men think they know what's best for the woman, is it some extreme alpha male testosterone floating thru their veins? Well if it is Caleb is overflowing with it. Caleb and Willow have great chemistry and work well together even with all of the obstacles that are thrown at them.
I loved that we get to see the gang from the Grayton Series, Cassandra and Luke from Last Resort, Marcus and Shelly from Someday Beach, Cole and Wendy from Rip Current (who are getting married), and Roman and Missy from In Too Deep.
Willow and Wendy had a difficult childhood, wendy's mother died, Willow's mother was never in the picture and their father William "Billy" Blake left them for long periods of time alone....Wendy went out of her way to make sure that Willow had everything she'd ever wanted, she made sure Willow went to school even if the latter thought their father was the one paying her tuition.
When their father passed away due to cancer, Willow made a vow that he would be the only man she would ever loved. That was until the day Caleb Harris walked into her life.
Caleb Harris had known Billy Blake, the latter saved him when he was living on the streets of Vegas ; and he was the only man the former looked up to as a father figure. So when he found himself in trouble, Caleb went in search of Billy only to received the news of him passing.
When Willow found a wounded Caleb at her door, she wanted to call the police but Caleb made her promise not to. As Willow nursed him back to health, they got closer and she learned things about her father she didn't know.
Caleb knew that getting involved with Willow was a bad idea but she found her way under his skin. Walking away from her was the hardest thing he'd ever done. It was as if he'd ripped out his heart and leaving it behind.
When Caleb realized he couldn't trust the people who'd sworn to protect him, he did everything in his power to protect Willow and Wendy. It was great catching up with the Graytons and meeting new characters.
SWEPT AWAY was majestically beautiful, the way Willow transformed over the years was well done. The love and respect she had for Wendy pulled at my heartstrings. Jill Sanders captured Willow's essence beautifully. 5++++
Willow grew up with her father in and out of her life, her sister brought her up.. He finally makes it home, only for him to die.. Years later with her sister due to wed, an injured man falls through her door, looking for her father.. Collapsing on the floor, she see's he is bleeding and stitches him up.. The next few days she nurses him through a fever, once awake she finds he's from her father's past.. They find they are attracted to each other, but he can't put her in danger!! I loved this story, but then again I love all of Jill Sanders books.. You really need to read them, to see how great they are!! ** I was given this by the author for an honest teview **
Willow knows how her sister feels about their dad and then a friend of their father's turns up on her door step. He is hurt and needs help. She is so jealous of Caleb because he got to spend more time with her father than she did. Caleb never had a normal life. Billy was the closest thing he had to any family, but now Billy is gone and he needs help from Billy's daughter. He really doesn't want to bring trouble to her door, but he has no where else to turn. Will he be able to keep his hands off of her and not put her and her sister's lives in danger?
I received this as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is book #5 in the Grayton series, but can be read as a stand alone. I strongly recommend reading the other books in the series because it's a great series. This was a great read with great characters, romance, mystery, action, and suspense. I loved Willow and Caleb and their story. I hope for more books in this series!
Gah... I love Jill Sanders SO MUCH! Her books NEVER disappoint! Jill Sanders writes such addicting books, you literally just can't stop reading them. Swept Away was such a fun, quick, easy read that kept me on my toes. There is so much action and emotion packed into this read. I love love love the whole series!
Swept Away is book #5 in the Grayton Series. These books work great as stand alone novels, but ALL the books are just so great, you really shouldn't miss out! Getting to know her characters is one of life's greatest pleasures as a reader. They stay with you long after you have finished reading them and it's so nice to "visit" them in each book.
I was so excited to read Willow's story. She has not had an easy life, but she always tries to make the best of it. I just love her! And I couldn't get enough of Caleb. Sexy bad boy gone good. I love how Willow and Caleb's stories intertwine. Their journey together is just so filled with emotion. I couldn't get enough. I can NEVER get enough of the Grayton's.
I totally recommend you fall into the Grayton Series!!!! You won't regret it! These books are meant to be devoured and should not be missed!
Willow stumbles upon Caleb in the most horrible way possible. He had been injured by a group of guys who have been on the lookout for him. Willow takes him in to help "mend" him. One thing leads to another and an attraction develops.
However, danger is still immenent and they need to find a safe place to stay. Willow takes him to her mothers farm. It is very difficult for her as she has been estranged from her mom. Willow then decides to listen to her mom and to explanation of what happened with her life.
The story gets a bit heated as Caleb then needs to finally face the men after him. I liked the fact that past characters were then involved in the end of the story.
I enjoyed the book as it had excitement and, of course, love!! ** I was given this by the author for an honest teview **
I was given this by the author in exchange for an honest review. As always Jill Sanders books doesn't disappoint and Willow's and Caleb story is not an exception, it was great. Swept Away is book five in the Grayton Series, can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading the other books in the series to get a better understanding of all the characters. You got drama, great characters, romance, mystery, action, danger and suspense. I really enjoyed this novel and I recommend it to everyone.
Really enjoyed the story of Willow and Caleb. Neither have had your usual upbringing, and their paths cross as a result of her late father's life that she knew nothing about. Quite complicated backgrounds to yhem both, but will happiness prevail?
Part of a series but can be read as a stand alone (as I did) but now going to read the rest!
Trust takes a while to build in this unconventional romance. A bad guy by all indicators works towards improving himself thanks to the love and support of another bad guy. He meets his daughter under perilous circumstances and the story is off and running. I really liked that the H liked honest communications. The end was a bit stretched out which took a small bit away for me.
Brief Summary: No need to expand on the author's summary.
cute fast paced story. Caleb has always lived on the run, never finding a family and love, except when Billy shortly took him under his wing - then abandonded him. Then he gets shot and goes to Willow, Billy's daughter, for help. Willow is sweet and caring- and fights her fear of Caleb- and ends up helping him. Things heat up as Willow and Caleb are being searched for by Billy and Caleb's old MC. Their story is ful of heat and chases. Nice quick good story. Easy to read and holds your attention.
Wow - so much happened in this story! Willow was everything I had hoped she would be: strong, smart, and determined. Despite his questionable background, Caleb was a great match for Willow. It took some time for them to trust each other and for his whole back story to get sorted out. Once it did, they made a really good team. I loved seeing Wendy & Cole and the rest of the Graysons. The insights into Willow's mom was a welcome back story that we didn't get until now. Loved the nail-biting that happens near the end which made the ending even more sweet. This is a great addition to the series!
This book annoyed me. I think it’s more of the fantasy becoming reality part that I don’t like. Plus, there’s not a lot of plot development being so short which leaves the foundation for a genuine relationship lacking. I managed to finish although I nearly gave up a few times. If you want a quick, steamy romance, this ones for you. I, however, prefer more substance. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1.
This book could be a stand-lone or read in the series. I really liked this book. The characters did not fall in love with each quickly but gradually. The characters were well rounded and had not only faults but strengths so you felt like you could see them in real life. I loved how this story flowed and really had some amazing storyline that did not bore at all. This story is really great and worth reading.
Loved loved it Jill. Willow and Celeb were supposed to be so wrong for each other but it goes to show you can’t control who you love. There is a lot going on in this book, running from gangs does that lol it’s good to get to hear about more characters and you can change your life if you really determine and want it too.
Another GREAT book in the Grayton series ..... I have loved each book in this series (along with every other book written by Jill Sanders). Jill always manages to capture my attention from the 1st word through the last.
This was a great romance story of love and intrigue. Reconnecting with family members and catching up with family. Was an awesome read. Narration was awesome.
Whenever I read a series I loved by an author, I usually go back and check to see what other books I might be interested in. After reading the Pride series, I decided to move on to the Grayton series. This series has certainly lived up to my expectations from Jill. These books remind each of us that true family love will see us through anything. I found the series very uplifting!

Romance and a bit of suspense. I enjoyed reading Willow's story and seeing that she has grown and matured a bit since what we learned about her in Wendys story. I also liked hearing more about her father and that there was more to him than just disappearing. A great read all up.
