18+ This story contains adult situations, sex, bad language, sexy vampire bites and violence which includes situations that may be difficult for some. If that’s not for you, then maybe this story isn't either. Can two broken hearts make a whole? Vampires never fall out of love. So when Gabe lost Gwen, he thought it was the end of relationships for him. He was cursed to forever pine for a woman he could never have. He hid his feelings behind a facade of perfection and control for a hundred years, focusing on work, never feeling. Until he met Jewel. Jewel had never been in love, never even considered it. So losing it wasn’t something she could understand. But Jewel was broken. After her abduction and assault, she would never be the same. And the things that she’d lived through were eerily similar to the circumstances that led to Gwen’s death, leaving Gabe to wonder if he would lose her too. Between them both, Gabe and Jewel’s shattered fragments start to come together, but can they salvage enough to make them complete? Or are each of them incapable of being anything more than broken pieces that will never make a whole?

L J lives on the Jersey Shore with her husband, four kids, two cats, and an inherited dog from hell (a.k.a. the sewer gremlin). Though writing has always been her first passion, she got a degree in psychological counseling and worked in the mental health field for awhile, which she finds very helpful in dealing with her crazy family. She is most likely to be found writing romance stories of all kinds (contemporary, erotic, new adult, young adult, fantasy, paranormal, etc.) . When she's not writing, she prefers to spend her time reading, taking photos, watching Doctor Who or Supernatural, or spending time with her family. This book was the emotional roller coaster that you just can't help but see to the end. The story line was so sad and tragic. Both Gabe and Jewel, broken vampires, find a way to help each other deal with the pain of their past and start to heal each other. Neither of them thought that they would fall in love but that is what they did and now Gabe had a better understanding of how Alexander and Ari feel about each other. All the characters from the first books are in this and continue to be a part of the much bigger story.

If you've read the first three books in this series then you know these characters go through so much to find true love. The characters are intriguing and have great chemistry. I love the way Gabe and Jewel took their time getting to know each other. I really am loving this series and I find myself reading nonstop. I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

Good one

This is Gabe's story and it's much better than the last one. You could feel the passion upon first meeting, but you also watched it grow as they spent more time together. Despite their love, you know they still have a lot of work ahead of them and it won't always be easy, but they both care enough to do the work. I was happy that Gave never ran from his feelings. I do need to give a warning that I should have given in the last book. There is some violent and extreme torque by a sick individual in these last two books. This one involved children and while it wasn't as graphic as the last one, that one was so vivid in my mind that it was too easy for me to be woken up with a vision of a child being mutilated. Not pleasant. I seriously didn't realise it would bother me so much. I read zombie books like candy, yet this author really gave me nightmares. Her descriptions were very vivid and real. So be prepared and if these things bother you, you might want to skip any scenes with the master in them!

Amazing!!!

I just finished the 4th book in this series, I started the 1st book ( Undeniable) last week and could not get enough of Alexander & Ariana. This was Gabe and Jewels story. Loved the fact that she made this in control vampire loose a little control. I would love to see how Micha and Lily begin though. Can't wait to see who is paired together next.
