It seems every decision Skila has made in the last year has led her farther and farther down the beaten path. When offered the chance to move away from it all, she jumps at it. Little does she expect the very day she arrives at her new home she will be landing, quite literally, in the lap of this towns most eligible bachelor. Not that it matters one bit to her. But a deal.

Now that she cant pass up.
Especially if her career depends on it.
It's settled with a shake of hands that not even the devil himself can undo.

The question remains to be answered.
Who is going to win this battle of wills.

Kip and Skila are great together! Their chemistry lit up the pages and the love between them was so unexpected I didn't want the story to end. There were emotional moments that tugged at my heart and moments that made me tear up. I didn't think there was going to be a HEA but if finally found them! Thank you Saylor Bliss for creating these lovable characters, I'll be looking forward to more from you soon! I highly recommend Baller's Baby to anyone who loves romance and if you're not into sports no worries its heavy on the love and sizzle and light on the sports!

Pretty good story, there were parts in it that was a bit "eh" over. It's not exactly insta-love, but it feels close. Definitely insta-lust. I enjoyed the book and was pleasantly surprised by it. I typically can figure out a book plot by a couple chapters in... I didn't with this one. I knew the main thing, but the plot twist in it threw me for a loop. Wasn't expecting that. Massive kudos to the author for it.

After reading the book description and looking at ratings, I decided to read it. I have to say I was disappointed. The Kip guy is arrogant unattractive personality. As for the Sky girl, I just found her to be a little ghetto. Overall I skimmed most of the book before I just stopped reading. For me there was nothing original, I couldn't connect with the characters and the book was just not developed. One good thing I can say is that I loved the cover and it contributed to me purchasing the book.

Too fast paced, didn't develop the characters

Everything happened so quickly and then the abrupt ending. I feel like I didn't know the characters. I like books where I want to be the characters and can feel what they feel, but this book didn't give you that. I actually wouldn't have finished reading it if I had not paid for it. It just felt like an empty book with not enough substance.

This was enjoyable. Skila feels deserted when ‘Amryn’ plans to introduce her to his family and fails to show. She moves to LA staying with her friend, Lisa to put it all behind her.

At a club she sees Kiptyn and he reminds her of ‘Amryn’. Kiptyn is a player with a reputation and feels the loss of his brother in action, Camryn.

Camryn’s absence cannot be explained other than he was traumatised during his unexplained absence and suffers from paranoia. He terminated his parental rights prior to allowing himself to be committed for his violent outbursts to pave the way for Kip to adopt the baby.

Nine references of her being his ‘Midnight Sky’.

Skila Parker is a young lady that has been delivered a low blow. Her boyfriend invites her to meet his family over the weekend, only he never shows to pick her up. Needing to start over, she leaves her home and family in Atlanta, relocating with a friend in Los Angeles. A night out on the town, she meets playboy, Kiptyn Price, professional basketball player for the Bolts. Even though he reminds her of someone, due to his playboy nature, she labels him a jerk. Once they meet again when their professions bring them together, sparks fly and they fall fast for each other. Then starts the surprises, twist, and turns of what started out as the typical boy meets girl story. Baller’s Baby has a HEA, but there’s times you just can’t figure how it can happen with additional surprise developments.
This was my first opportunity to read a work by Author Saylor Bliss. The story has good flow. There was attention to detail without excessive descriptions. The characters were interesting. I will look forward to reading more from Author Saylor Bliss!

**I was gifted with an ARC of this book by the author in exchange for my honest review**

So this book is definitely in the 3 1\2 to maybe 4 star range. It was a really good read. It did take me a while to relate to the characters in the beginning and I'm still a little unattached but I obviously felt something for them to have continued my reading and wanting to see as happy ending somewhere. Once the book picked up it was like I couldn't out it down. So if you start and have doubts give it a chance it does indeed get better. I wanna thank Saylor Bliss for the chance to get inside her mind and get to know some of her characters looking forward to more writing from her!

This is the first time reading a novel by this author but not the last even though the book begin with a familiar storyline and the potential of a great story, it detoured in another direction and dragged on without enough action to keep my interest especially with the new twist. The book is about Kiptyn Price, a well-known bad boy basketball player with a wild lifestyle and Skila Parker, a young sports reporter and was assigned to cover Kiptyn's team. DO THAT SOUND FAMILIAR! I didn't feel any real connection to the characters to be realistic about their relationship. Overall, it's an OK read.

I really loved the story of Kip and Sky. Kip was so use to going to the bar with his buddies and getting any woman he wanted. Sky wasn't looking for a man or a relationship. Fate kept throwing Kip and Sky together first at the bar and then for their jobs. They had obstacles to overcome before they were able to be happy.

Sports with heart!

This book was a lot deeper then I expected! Basketball man whore has a beautiful, heart broken, and very intelligent "goddess" fall into his life... Quite literally into his lap. Definitely a must read. Twists and turns you don't expect.

Kiptyn is a famous basketball player, and known for being a player off the court as well with different woman all the time. He is only concerned about himself, until one day he see's her see's Skila. Then everything he ever knew and wanted, wasnt what he wanted anymore, not when it came to her. Skila moved to LA after what she thought was her boyfriend ditching her, she thought she was gonna live her life and try something new.

What I enjoyed most about Baller's Baby is watching Kiptyn pretty much grow up, take responsibility and be a loving and caring person for Skila. To learning who his real friends were and what was most important in the world, and that didnt include going to clubs everynight, He learned that family is what is most important.

This book is fantastic, I read through it pretty quickly as I had to know what was going to happen next, if Kiptyn really did change or not. This story has a basketball star who pretty much is a partying man whore, who does bets with his teammate about the number of woman they can get each night. While Skila is just trying to prove to her family that her move to LA will work and she wont come crawling back from failure. This is a love story, with some twists. If you like stories like this, then Baller's Baby is a must!

Oh, Kiptyn. He starts out as a real a**. With a capital “A”. And then two capital “S’s”. By the end of the story, I love this guy.

Now this is a story with a lot of creative twists and turns. One twist in particular was hard to see coming, but it was pure genius. I have to admit it was surprising to see how quickly Kip wanted to change from his playboy ways for Skila – from their first date. (Who would have thought?) And then once it’s discovered that Kip is actually Skila’s former flame’s brother – and father of her unborn child – Kip kicks it up a notch in the grown-up department. Kip and Skila admitted their relationship wasn’t perfect and they evolved as the story progressed. It was actually refreshing to witness Kip maturing! The two of them have a fun, truly loving relationship – it’s very endearing. Without spoiling too much, things become more complicated once someone reappears into their lives and, somewhat surprisingly, builds into a creative HEA.
Aside from needing a thorough proofreading and focusing more attention on timeline sequences (when certain things happened), the story arch held depth and touched on mental health and PTSD.

Finding love in an unusual place

Skila and Kip meet in a usual way but the circumstances are very unusual. She was dating a man she didn't know much about and just when she was about to meet his family, he disappeared without a word. She was so heart broken that she moved to LA. Kip is a star player on a NBA team. He is enjoying his fame and he is partying and sleeping with different women every night. He is mourning the death of his brother in a boom in the war. Skila is a reporter who is assigned to interview him. The night before, she was in a night club and saw a man who reminded her of her ex. They had a short make out session. He got into a fight, she saved him from going to jail. She had no idea who he was. Now this wonderful story really take you on an adventure that you won't believe. Mystery, intrigue, unplanned pregnancy, return of dead brother, falling in love, great sex, a unbelievable connection that they share. I received this ARC copy with the promise of a honest review. You will be drawn into this story with your heart and some tears. Loved it.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review (Thank you!).

Kip didn’t have an easy childhood, but now that he’s a star basketball player he’s taking advantage of all the women falling at his feet. Until he sees Skila…but after the heartache in her life, she’s not ready for a playboy like Kip. Now her job requires her to interview Kip and he makes her a deal she can’t refuse…

Ooh la la, this is one sexy bad boy romance you won’t be able to even think about putting down! The hero is not only a sexy bad boy, but a sweet-talker who charms not only the heroine, but the reader too. The sex is smoking hot and I had to slow down at those erotic parts just to savor them a little bit. So far, this has been my one and only Saylor Bliss read, but I’m anxious to read more of her erotic tales. In my opinion, Baller’s Baby was well written and well worth my time. This one should be added to your TBR list or you’ll be crying later that you missed it (lol)! 5 Stars!

Great! Hot sports read!

Skila is suffering post break up when she runs into a man at a bar. In a moment of weakness she's all over him when she realizes he looks like her ex. Fast foreword to her first day on the day and she's interviewing the god from the bar because he's none other than hit basketball star Kiptyn Price.

Kiptyn Price is the hot shot point guard in the pros. He can have anything at his beck and call. Only thing is he would never think it would be his brothers girl who is also sporting a bun in the oven.

Skila & Kip fall in love and the rest is history...or so if seems!

This couple is thrown for loop after loop. Not intending to ever be a Couple a baby brings them together and forms an unbreakable bond.

This was a great, emotional, hit read! So glad everyone got their happy endings!!

4 star review of Baller’s Baby – A Bad Boy Romance by Saylor Bliss

This is a new author to me and one I hope to read more of in the future.

This is the story of Kiptyn Price, a highly paid basketballer and Skila Parker who is looking for a new start and some where she can put her life back together.

I enjoyed Ms. Bliss’s writing style and felt that the story flowed quite well. Kiptyn is a well-known bad boy in the world of basketball, whilst Skila is a sports reporter who is assigned to cover the team he plays for.

Initially the book was a little slow, but once I got into it I began to wonder if these two would get a happily ever after. There were a few roller-coaster moments and at times I was surprised as where I thought the author was going, only to find out I was wrong.

Overall I enjoyed Baller’s Baby and will certainly be on the lookout for more from Saylor Bliss.

3 1/2 enjoyable stars....

I enjoyed this book. I found the main characters interesting and was eager to learn more of their story and sought a happy ending for them both. However I did find the "insta love" a bit unrealistic. I felt there were gaps in the story that didn't make the level of affection they felt for each other so quickly realistic. Skila was naive and immature to accept a proposition of this magnitude from Kip, a man she hardly knew.
I would have liked more of a build up to accept them as a committed couple and feel justified in her acceptance.
I will definitely be reading more books from Saylor.

Kiptyn is a hard partying professional basketball player who is starting to realize there is something missing in his life.

Skila has recently moved to Los Angeles after having her heart broken back home.

Kiptyn and Skila run into each other a few times. Kiptyn knows immediately that there is something special about Skila. Skilla knows immediately that Kiptyn is trouble and does her best to avoid him.

I can't say much more without giving away the twists and turns in this story...and there are a few!

I couldn't put this book down and recommend it!

Skila was done with relationship, with her last boyfriend just leaving and dropping off the face of the early, really. She leaves all that behind and moves to LA with her Best friend Lisa. Her new job as a sports reporter puts her in Kiptyn's sight. He is a player all the way. Women hanging off him and never thinking of settling down in till he sets his eyes on Skyla. Things heat up between them and the next thing you know Kip is ready to see where this can go. Never did they think they had common connection with Cam. I love sports reads and this one was a good one. These two have a whirlwind romance and a HEA.

Bad Boy of Basketball Falls Hard

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I felt the over all theme of this book was great. One girl, two brothers, and baby on the way. It's not what it seems. It's actually a kind of shocking twist for everyone involved. The problem is the details and timeline don't match up like they should. The author did well over all for her first time and I would give her next book a shot.

A Good Sweet Story

This was definitely a different look on boy meets girl.I love the fact that we get heroine that is so done to earth and likable from the beginning.I love the fact that the story is not centered around Kip's wealth and status as a pro basketball player. This was such a really good story with good chemistry and some really sweet moments.I would definitely pass this on to a friend.

This is my first time reading a book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I did not care for Kiptyn in the beginning, but he turned out to be a really great guy. He loved him some Skila.....his Midnight Sky. My heart hurt for Camryn though. I was glad that he was able to get help and I was also glad he was able to have a place in his son's life, even if it was as "Uncle Camryn". I look forward to reading more books by this author. Great job!

*3.5 Stars *

I thought this book was pretty good. I liked how there were two men and one women concept love triangle, but I felt it was missing something. I can't name it...... I found my self skimming through most of it sadly. I will read it again, and give it another shot.

All in all it was okay, finished it in one setting.

Loved Sky and Kip. At first Kip is a seen as a conceited jock.then sky came along and knocked him right on his butt. These two go through so much in the little time they knew each other. They go through a roller coaster of situations. Leaves me wanting more!!!!! Especially from the other characters.

Different kinda story

This was a pretty good story. I didn't give it 5 stars because at times you could get very confused at the dialogue and where or who was talking. It was definitely a different kind of story. Not the ending I thought of and
questioned about what happen to Kip and Chris's relationship on and off the teams along with Skila's job.

This was a hard book to read given it wasn't a fluid as I prefer a book to be. It was also hard to connect to the characters. I found myself skimming too much through out the entire book.
