This book is a total disappointment. The title promises a lot but the book really delivers very little. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.

I got this book in a raffle, decided to check it before giving it to a friend which is starting with PHP, I won't give it to him, I'm afraid he is going to learn things wrongly, the sub-title says Object-Oriented Modular Programming which is not the case, the code samples don't even have methods, how can you teach PHP7 without scalar type hinting and return types? The absolutely the minimum. Other than that the author isn't using best practices or even checking how many levels of indentation or etc, this is just the bare surface of issues with this book, please don't buy nor read it.
