Don’t hate the player is a non-stop, drama-driven story of friends, lovers, secrets, and ecstasy that will leave you wanting more.
This book started off amazing and the author did a great job with character development. I had to force myself to put it down. Eventually, the book started dragging on and a lot of random scenarios were thrown in the mix that I didn't feel were necessary nor did they help advance the story. I went from having to force myself to put the book down to having to force myself to read it.
OH wooow i read this book when i was still in secoundary school, over 5 years ago. The boook was sooo big too many pages. it was a good book but it gt dragged on abit a little boring not going to lie the only reason i read it till the end was because i was trying to beat a personal record. but all in all the story line was decent.
OMG!!! One of the best books i have read in 08-09...I just started picking back up reading within the past year and a half so when i picked up this book i couldnt put it down....Chocolate!! OMG im not going to get into that because its NOT G rated lol A MUST READ!!
I gave this book 4 stars because it was very well written & I recommend this book to kids ages 14 and up because it has very strong language. The book overall talks about 4 friends named Money, Chocolate, Taeko, & luvly they each have their own aspirations in life but they seem to never forget that they have each other backs no matter what, they do face a lot of hardships throughout the story. The author brandy has a good way of switching off from character to character in each little chapter and she shows how the character develops throughout the story. Overall this book was a very interesting one and I think anyone who is into drama should read this.
I gave the book to stars because I felt that it was poorly written. The plot would have been better if she would have taken the time to write the book carefully and not make it seem rushed. I felt that I really didn't know the characters and their backgrounds because everything was kind of bunched together. The book itself didn't really need 80 something chapters. Also why did anything happen with diamond he should have been killed or something or at least caught by the police and thrown in jail I barely ever give a book such a poor review but this one was really not that great in my opinion
I loved this book. Everything that happen between the book made since at the end. I didn't like how it ended, I wanted Brandy and Chocolate to stay together. But Brandy Felt that she had to move on. I didn't like that Luvly died.
Very interesting book the story never really had me out my seat at any one time but it was a nice story I feel I really connected with the main character but for the record the ending seemed rushed and it was bullshit should've been a sequel.
WWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!! I LOVED this book I couldn't put it down I seriously felt as though I was watching a movie and that if I stopped reading I would miss something!!!
