Agoraphobic? Maybe a little. Damaged? Maybe a lot. But I haven't always been this way...

I'm all alone and that's exactly how I want it to be.

After a life changing tragedy, Heather Perry wants to distance herself from the city and all of the people in it. She moves to a cabin far away from everything and everyone. But her plans for a peaceful, solitary life change when she meets her nearest neighbor. He’s kind, helpful and irresistibly hot.

When she finds out he’s secretly a very wealthy man, her life changes when she experiences that part of his world. But she’s soon reminded of how quickly things can go wrong and she shuts the world out again.

Is she really willing to throw everything, including love, away for a life of isolation?

Middle of Nowhere, by Piper Phoenix, is a billionaire romance - finding love and something more when least unexpected and in the middle of nowhere. Heather and Rex are unique in their desires to be away from the hubbub of the busy city life and find a connection neither anticipated. The story was enjoyable.

The Middle of Nowhere by Piper Phoenix is a NA contemporary romance that tells a sweet story about Heather and learning to live and love after her parents tragic death and dealing with the PTSD. Sexy, billionaire Rex is just the person to do that.

These characters where so well written and so well suited together and so real. This is the first book I've read of Pipers and I can't wait to read more. Is found the characters, storyline and pace perfect and I couldn't put it down.

I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

I am voluntarily leaving an honest review of this book based on an advanced readers copy. Heather was devastated and afraid to live in the city after the murder of her parents, so she uplifted her life and moved to a little cabin in the country. Heather was afraid of people and life in general and when she meet Rex she was weary of him. Over time she began to trust him and they started seeing each other until one faithful day back in the city where Heather was attacked by a mugger. Even though Rex saved her she closed herself off again and stop seeing Rex. It took the advice from her Aunt Audrey and a lady she meet where her parents where murder to explain to Rex the way she was and that's why she stop seeing him. Needless to say the story has a happen ending. You definitely fall in love with this story.

Each book has it's own inspiration for me.

Heather has a lot to overcome and her ability to deal with it captivates me. It's not an easy thing to do and moving to a cabin in the middle of nowhere is a first step yet it takes a wonderful neighbor to help the healing begin. But of course this is a story and nothing can go completely smooth or else we probably wouldn't enjoy the book as much.

Then we have Rex, a billionaire but one who likes his quiet too who comes to her rescue. Rex is a character that I connected with (even with him being a billionaire).

With Heather there was a lot to take in but I think the author pulled it off and yes I would continue reading more stories by her.

I Voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This book had so much potential but it lacked passion and dialog. As a reader, you want to be enthralled by the story. It had some great moments and then so much of just writing that didn't take you away. Rex was the "Christian Grey" ruggedly handsome guy and Heather the closet freak over events that happened to her parents. Not her. She really was close minded and relied on her grief. I wanted and needed so much more out of this book. Aside from the multiple grammar issues, I rate this book at 3 stars.

**I voluntarily received an Advance Reader Copy of this book**

The Middle of Nowhere is a great story. Sometimes I would love to move into a cabin in the woods myself, but I hate bugs. I think if my neighbor could be a hot billionaire, I might be inclined to change my mind about the bugs.

The heroin in this story has way more than bugs to overcome. Her ability to talk herself through situations is inspiring, and her ability to face her fears and move forward with her life is also very inspirational.

This is a must read.

Heather' heartbroken and terrified to live in the city after her parents were murdered, so she decided to move to a little cabin in the country. After this ordeal, she feels threatened by people & even life itself. While stuck next to the road looking for her cabin, she meets Rex, her sexy "neighbor" whom she doesn't trust at first. After awhile she starts to trust him & he takes her out on a dinner date, which turns into a nightmare when she was attacked by a mugger. She decides to stop seeing Rex, but will he allow that?

Interesting book. Rex and Heather are well developed characters that move the story along. With Heather's fears just think the relationship moved a bit fast, a few days and her fear of Rex is gone, didn't fit with her character. I freely reviewed this ARC.
