The Duke pushed past the people waiting at the counter, ignoring their protests in his need to get out of the bank. He didn’t understand what was the matter with the man. Didn’t he know what a prestigious marriage could do for his business? Hadn’t Jenkins’ man told him that Mr Bradley had married a baronet’s daughter? The start of a wager
When Lord Kennedy approaches the Duke of Tempsford with a wager, to ask Frances Bradley for her hand in marriage. He finds the wager ridiculous, how hard could it be to ask a woman to marry? But he soon finds out that France's will not be swayed so easily by his proposal.

Prefer zero stars
The first 2 stories I read had a good story line and that's about it. It seems like someone took a few books, pulled a few chapters (beginning middle and end) and came up with this nonsense. It needs serious proofreading and editing. Thank god I didn't pay for this!
