Nearly 2,000 detailed illustrations, including depictions of more than 200 different katcinas, and the most thorough account of Hopi ceremonies and their meanings, with comparisons to Egyptian, Israelite, Freemasonic and other Native American ceremonies.
Well, it certainly is a book. There are way more commas than I would prefer, and it could use some TLC, reference section-wise. Still, the set of pictures laid out in it is enjoyable. I'll have to leaf through this one again some time.
This book was ghostwritten. I really want to know which person authored this book! I loved it, but I love books like these, that give possible meanings to symbols that cross cultures and times. The author (it's not "Cryer" - he doesn't exist, try to find him! Ha!) really has done his or her research on Native American and Eastern symbols. I loved it!
